I’m begging, please just label your re-run a as re-runs. It’s so frustrating as a listener. Love the show and don’t mind re listening to certain episodes, but I just don’t understand why you can’t label it as such. You guys do not care about your listeners at all. So frustrating.

This is a great paranormal story-telling podcast and definitely worth a listen. I will say that the sound effects can be annoying, though. Just listened to the most recent episode where they were eating dinner in the story and a sound effect of a person chewing food sent me into a spiral. Whyyy

Wow. Such a magical, mystical, insightful show! From incredible intros (sometimes sinister, sometimes silly, always compelling) to the stunning production -- TEN STARS! Minute one, Spooked had me hiding under the covers. Be afraid, and don't turn out the lights!!

This story is an urban legend and has been done (better) on another podcast. Spooked, you’ve gone downhill and I’m over it. Yawn.

This is in a class by itself. The music is perfectly timed and constructed, the host is the easiest to dive in with-personal and smooth, the narration is spot on, never too much-never too little, the editing is impeccable. Hearing these stories from the people who have had the experience is the punch that takes this all the way. I cannot get enough. I share it with everyone I can. Thank you all for your incredible work.

Host Glynn Washington brings tears to my eyes with almost every intro story. Understanding another human’s experience is a privilege and Glynn not only brings his life and experience into full color but gives others the opportunity to do the same. There are stories I have heard on Spooked that I will never forget. This isn’t just another platform for creepy stories. It’s an emotional journey. The music is great, the production quality is top-notch and other podcasts just aren’t good enough. Thank you Mr. Washington for putting so much of your heart and soul into this work and sharing it. It’s not lost on me.

I’ve listened to a lot of scary “true” story podcasts and this is by far the best in terms of standing out. The host is fantastic, the production really adds to the vibe, and the stories are actually different from those shared among other pods in the same genre. Really great execution!

This show is my whole vibe. I heard about this show from the podcast None of This is Real. I’m so glad that I followed their suggestion. I absolutely adore this show and their creators.

Stop posting re-run episodes as new. I love this show so much and pray there will be new episodes every week! Such a disappointment when it’s a re-run.

The music is too dang loud I can’t take it! I want to hear the people talking not loud rap music. The host of the show speaks so fast his words mesh together and he can be hard to understand too.

I will say I look forward to each episode and some I’ve heard from when it was on it’s original platform. The host is interesting and engaging, the spooksters are good, just every episode feels like a story. I know one season wasn’t so gray but a bad season of Spooked is better than the best of most podcasts.

I used to LOVE this podcast, especially around Halloween, but the stories are becoming increasingly unbelievable. How many times can people put young ghost girls, footsteps, and giggling into one podcast? Many, MANY times, apparently. Of course, that doesn’t stop me from listening to it, but please. Some variation would be nice.

‘Spooked’ is one of my favorite podcasts (and I listen to MANY being an animator working from home:)) The production is flawless, the host is engaging and I enjoy his voice, and the stories are told well. Fabulous editing, sound, music—always a quality listen! Thank you!!!

Love the podcast- big fan- hope last story is an anomaly. it was hard to follow and not up to spooked storytelling standards!

For as long as I’ve been searching, this podcast has been the *only* one to really nail the ghost story format, largely because the guests come from all camps (with some being skeptics), and the stories seem natural and told from memory (+ some editing and production magic to make them more coherent). Lately, the stories have been sounding like creative writing assignments recited at theatre camp, and the increasingly frequent reveal that the guest has some book out about their “ghostly experiences” at the end completely shatters the illusion that these encounters actually happened (Glynn’s calls for stories from listeners also take away from this - the idea that these stories are from people who aren’t necessarily fans is crucial). The mid-episode ads deliver the final blow, absolutely destroying any spooky ambience that the story *has* managed to build.

What else is there to say ? If you love spooky stories in the dead of night (or whenever), you’ve come to the right place. G and the team do fear top-notch with Spooked. ♥️♥️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Side note: As a repetitive listener, can we expect new episodes soon ?! LOVE THIS SHOW.

I love this podcast, I've been listening to it since it first came out. However, this newish thing with putting ads in the middle of a scary story just isn't cool. Totally ruins the moment and it takes you out of the story. Put them at the beginning or the end but please take them out of the middle.

Love the format of the show from the small vignettes that Glynn tells about his life to the spooky stories told by folks around the world. A polished and engaging series!

I used to hate Glen's stories at the beginning but now they have grown on me. It was the only thing i didn't care for about this pod. This and Radio Rental are my go-to's for true stories. However....the Murmur was THEEE WORST show i have ever heard in this series. OMG. Terrible.

Best podcast for spooky stories, I just wish the episodes we longer!

I love this podcast! I would have given it 5 stars but I don’t like the host’s commentaries so I usually have to skip past the intros and monologues to the stories themselves.

This has been my favorite podcast for years. I looked forward every year to the “Campfire” episodes on Snap Judgement 10 years ago. So happy that they made an entire podcast of those scary stories. I love Glen! Love Glen’s stories. My favorite host by far. I don’t mind the repeat episodes, the work that goes into making each episode is extensive! This podcast is art.

I love Glenn and his preludes and I love this show. Well done thank you so much.

I am so glad I found this podcast. Spooked is the best! Mr Washington really has some great stories to tell as a prelude. The way he describes events and things are so realistic that you truly can ‘see’ in your mind’s eyes! And all the stories are just so creepy that it brings chills down my spine. I listen to this podcast everyday except at night. Not going to creep myself out😁

Me and my son have been listening to spooked for at least two years now and we always listen to it in the car but refuse to listen to it at night during bed time we thank you deeply Glynn for creating this podcast.

I used to really love this show. I feel like recently the quality of the stories has gone downhill and whoever decided it was a good idea to put ads in the middle of a story should be fired.

I’ve been listening to Spooked for years now and have always been a huge fan. So much so that I decided to pay for additional content. Now though, can anyone explain why they keep re-releasing old episodes?! Seriously thinking about canceling this subscription.

This was a great podcast until they started on the repeats. Rarely get a new episode and they refuse to label the repeat episodes so you have to look it up on the web to see which ones are new and which ones are old.

I love the show I listened from the first season all the way through most current episodes. I paid for premium just to make sure I did not miss an episode. I love it so much I find myself wanting to start listening from the beginning again just Incase I missed something 🤣

This host is the utter worst! His babbling never goes with the stories, just skip 3-5 minutes ahead to get to the great stuff!

Spooky and compelling

Love listening to the show on my weekends when I’m cooking or making art. The host is engaging, the show atmospheric, and the stories riveting.

I would rate this 6 stars if I could. Great editing and choice of music. The stories are always amazing and so entertaining.

I just discovered the podcast. Fellow Michigander and claustrophobic, the opening of this one had me saying, “yes, exactly!” Aloud, mid-chore, indeed. Do.not.bury.me.

I am for the first time horrified and suddenly surprised at the same time, but in a terrifyingly wondrous way… speechless 😶

I cannot come up with enough positive adjectives about this podcast. All I can say is, as I enter my third year of job searching nonstop (never stopping, its almost as if I’m cursed, I tell you, blacklisted, marked, stigmatized), I can only pray with all my tired, weary, spooky heart that, someday, I can find a workplace in which so much creativity (writing, music, poetry, whistles, footsteps, heartbeats) and gasp-causing, genuine spooks come together to create such a bone-chilling, skin-tingling result. I don’t even care if I end up with a hitchhiker (oh it’s a thing, not exactly a good one). Please God, let me have a livelihood as lively as all the dead in all these many stories that sometimes lull me to sleep. Amen.

Love snap judgment and spooked. Host is always amazing! Just realllly disappointed that there's no new episodes, just reruns of the older ones. We want new content!!
