Such an amazing story and production. Talent exudes throughout, from script to characters to those who play them. I listened straight through and here in 2022 my only disappointment is I am left wanting more!

I would like to see the time machine this production crew used to travel into the future and then traveling back to write a near documentary. It is mind boggling this was done years before January 6th. Uncompagre

This is ridiculously fantastic drama. I can visualize the scenes while following the story. Transition from scenes, the dialogues….. totally awesome. Keep up the good work guys I am hooked

A procedural for how to overthrow the Government of the United States if you are the President of the United States. So. It’s arrogant entitled white men trying to assert their personal will over everyone and everything (as if we all don’t get enough of that at every other turn), but minus anything personable about any them to draw you in. Which is about as dried up and dusty as it sounds. There are a few women who get to talk about their husbands or fathers. There’s a couple excuses to throw out some gross racisms (truly, what are these writers thinking when they sit there typing those lines in? “Can’t wait for people to get to hear this!” as of our ears aren’t already full of it?). In a medium where you can tell stories about anyone, and present all kinds of fresh voices, it’s just really disappointing to find any of these same old stories and characters with such slick sound production at all. Fiction podcasts are where I come to get away from all that.

Overall incredibly well produced, written, and acted. Quality of the show is like something from a big budget HBO or Netflix show. However; the antagonist of the story is a thinly veiled attempt at portraying Donald Trump and it’s quite obvious. Whether you hated him or loved him or like me was flabbergasted by some of his behavior and comments; IMO I don’t think Trump was an evil character actively trying to destroy America. Anyway without giving away spoilers there are actions that the main protagonist takes that would be overreaching and that’s a complete understatement. The events in the conclusion of this season are actions a tyrant would do and honestly what Trump critics believed he would do in real life so there’s some irony there. In conclusion, great, riveting political thriller that keeps you hooked but also has a real world bias and agenda IMO.

How can u tell? They hate the electoral college.. I’m surprised they didn’t name the president in the show “Ronald Rump”

I generally don’t like fiction but this popped up as recommended for me, probably because I do enjoy other Lindsay Graham podcasts, so I gave it a chance and it hooked me immediately. Music, characters, plot, all of it. This was fantastically done.

Please give us a 2nd season now that it’s another election!!!

I’ve listened to 1865 and this, wondery and Lindsay Graham make incredible dramas please make more than 1 season of each.

Halfway through and this is excellent. Even the end of the episodes where the writers discuss the episodes are intriguing.

This is riveting. I can’t stop listening. And I really want season 2. ** nevermind I got to the end. Season 2 would be awful with that as the starting point. Please don’t. One other thing though — the music is barely distinguishable from House of Cards! I get that it’s the same genre and it’s definitely appropriate music. But you barely altered it.

Literally I started listening to this podcast and couldn’t stop. The character development and the heat that the dialogue brings with it is drawing. I’m writing this review while listening to Episode: Faust and I’m just floored. This literally has everything in it.

What a load of libtard propaganda. Stop wasting our time with political bias jammed into what should have been a tense story.

Wondery, I have been hooked to your podcasts since Dr. Death and slowly working my way through your library since then. I only recently discovered this podcast from you and I finished it in one day! Please, please come out with a season 2 soon, hopefully with longer episodes.

I think its worth a second season. Definitely makes you stop and think of our here and now.

Can’t believe I just discovered this! Fantastic acting and wonderfully produced. The great plot made me binge-listen to the entire season. The last episode was not the ending I was expecting and I’m left wondering why season 2 hasn’t been published yet.

Please, please I’m so tired of things being ruined for me because people can’t keep their opinions to themselves. I don’t care if you’re left, right or center let’s keep it civilized and not shove our biases onto others. Looking forward to 1865 and AAT episodes. Just please remain objective.

I love politics but what really kept me coming back was the cliffhangers and the amazing soundtrack. It’s ‘house of cards’ for your imagination. A little silly at times, very insightful at others. Totally binged it! Can’t wait for season 2!

I’ve listened to the whole show twice and I really want a season 2 already!

I was worried that this show would work too hard to be “important” and “timely”, but I was very pleasantly surprised. While there are clear influences from current events, the power of the story comes from the high stakes political drama and the deep dives into the deepest inner working of our political systems. Love the show and really can’t wait for more.

Well-written, concise, smart, entertaining. What more can you ask for?

A little late to the party but Holy Cow is this good! This series was well written and beautifully produced! I was hooked by the first episode and was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole first season. I was literally “jaw-dropped” shocked at the last episode. I wish I could give you guys more than a 5-Star rating and hopefully look forward for a second season!!!

Please let there be a Season Two.

I was a huge fan of ‘The West Wing,’ especially the early years, and ‘Terms’ reminds me of that show in all the best ways. But ‘Terms’ stands on its own as well, for all the right reasons. The plot and story are dramatic and exciting; I love that the characters are Republican so it’s not about progressive vs. conservative. The actors are Grade A and truly give it their all. The sound design is phenomenal—in some scenes the ambiance is a character to itself. Each episode is super short so I could fit one or more episodes easily into my daily commute. Perhaps best of all, I’ve learned something about politics and the Executive and Legislative branches of our government. It’s fascinating. I REALLY hope there’s a season two!

Please tell me there will be a season 2!

I'm guessing this was meant to only be one season!? I feel like there is so much more story left to be told! What an incredible ending! It's like Scandal meets Suits meets real life. I love this team so much! I would love to hear what happens 5 months later!

Acting was excellent and overall quality was good. I was disappointed to hear the foul language in every episode. I also felt like I was being dragged through another creative way to attack our president.

Wow! This was a really good podcast! At first I was afraid it would be too partisan, but I felt like it remained very neutral. I feel it is a podcast that anybody could listen to and feel respected and interested, regardless of their political views. The concept is fascinating—and between the fact that this was written before 2016 and our current political climate, it’s a truly fascinating listen. The wonderful concept, clever and engaging script, truly impressive acting, and timeliness of this podcast make it a true pleasure to listen to. Can’t wait for season two!
