    Stay away
Avoid this show like the plaugue and listen to Warren Buffett instead. Ramsey knowingly shills bad financial advice just so he can promote himself as some kind of wise contrarian. He actally advises people to pay off their loans from smallest to largest REGARDLESS OF INTEREST RATE! Why on earth would anyone pay off a $10k loan at 2.8% before paying off a $20k loan at 35%? Ramsey calls it the "snowball" method, lol. So dumb 😂

    Fantastic Show
We got out of debt in 2018 and it’s because I listened to this show every single day while delivering mail. My family still jeers me for even being up living on less than you earn but I’m determined to stop trying to change anyone but myself! Thanks Ramsey Network!

Dave is obnoxious and often wrong.
Someone had the audacity to confront Dave on Wednesday’s show (4/2/25). Dave responded by giving average life expectancy examples. Dave says a white male living to 65 years of age can expect to live 18 additional years. That means someone that lives to 100 can expect to live to 118. Really? THEN Dave very rudely called him “BOY.” And goes on and on and on for way too long. Someone rein this guy in, for his own good. (I highly, very highly, suggest the Clark Howard podcast. I get great financial advice without all the anger and pontificating.)

    On the Right Track
I’ve been listening to The Ramsey Show for many years now. While I appreciate the “Baby Steps” method approach for getting out of debt, unfortunately, Dave Ramsey and his “personalities” suffer greatly from a lack of knowledge (and perhaps curiosity) about the nature of intergenerational wealth in American society. This show takes the approach of “it works for me,”and if it doesn’t for you, then you’re “stupid.” Instead of probing or addressing inequality head on, Ramsey and his peers (or employees) proudly chooses to use their platform to promote the American bootstraps myth with little thought behind why some advance and others do not. Aside from a righteous anger against debt in our culture, there is very little compassion for the poor. In other words, the podcast fits in quite well with the status quo. Inequality doesn’t exist. Inequality is a figment of the imagination (as are many other injustices). I wonder if constructive feedback is something the show’s host and sidekicks would be willing to consider.

Please Get Rid of Dave Again
In all honesty I liked the show better during the period of time without Dave. Dave just seems so arrogant and makes the show distasteful. He will take any chance he can get to brag about how much he does or how much he makes. It’s childish and off putting. He also tends to talk down to people as if he is all knowing. I realize that it is his show but to be honest I can relate more to literally everyone else other than him. He should be put back to a behind the scenes role.

    Love the show
I absolutely love the show I love listening to it! And have for years but honestly over the past couple of years I’ve lost interest as there has been less of Dave. Honestly I love listening to him the others are good but they just don’t have the same thing Dave does. It’s like the others are just saying the same thing he does. He has a way of cutting to the root of the issue when people need to hear it even if they don’t want to hear it. In my opinion the other just repeat what Dave says they don’t seem to have their own solutions to the problems. Let’s hear more of Dave!

    Don’t listen to this show
I’ve been a Ramsey follower for several years now. I don’t always agree with Dave’s politics but find his financial advice to be top notch. Unfortunately lately Dave has gone into the deep end and has callously voiced his opinions on cutting social services, especially those that directly impact the most neediest. This man and his family and his employees preach being Christian, but are far from it. How can you say you follow God’s word but turn around and say you don’t care what happens to our most vulnerable? You’re a hypocrite. Don’t call yourself a Christian when all you worry about is lining your pockets. You’re a terrible person for wanting to see old people out on the street just so you can hypothetically save a dollar or two, and I say hypothetically because this administration hasn’t saved anyone a dollar. It’s sad.

Good advice show. Jade is annoying with her hoots and hollers after a comment. Caller- “ I have $75K in student loans” Jade- “WOOOOOO!”

    Mostly Good
Jade doesn’t seem to contribute much, and Rachel is too uncomfortable telling the hard truths. You can hear her waffling and trembling while she tries. Dave and Ken are top notch

Love the Root Beer Float Team
Best hosts are the George and Ken duo. I always scan for their episodes as the ones to listen to. Laugh out loud entertaining!

    Dogmatic, ignorant and condescending
Dave has certainly helped many people over the years, especially with getting out of debt. At this point though, there are so many better teachers and methods out there. Dave just comes off as bitter, angry and self-righteous. And when he tries to put himself on some absurd holy pedestal (he’s managing God’s money), or inject his embarrassingly ignorant views on current events, politics and high-level finance/commerce, all I can do is cringe, chuckle and shut him off. There are many many better options out there for personal finance education!
  • Joe Pags show is great
    Stellar Show
I have listened to the show for a while and can always listen for sound advice on finances. Dave is still great and has maybe gotten funnier with age. The hosts are super encouraging and gives me hope for my financial future! Great job guys, keep up the great work!

    My FAVORITE show!!
I love the show! I listen during my 45 minute commute to and from work. My husband and I have coordinated 2 FPU classes and the shows really help answer questions that come up! There is always something to learn here! Not only is the information invaluable… it’s also truly entertaining!! Ty!!

    Loosing Interest
I’ve been a listener for years and still listen regularly but it’s getting hard to listen when Dave is in the show. After doing the show for years it seems Dave has grown angry and instead of hearing someone give advice because he cares and wants to teach, he talks down to people and snaps to judgment. For the most part I skip episodes that he is on at this point. To be clear, still sound financial advice, but it may be time to pass the microphone up the very good team Dave has built up around him.

    Excellent Helpful Advice
This show is excellent. The advice, the hosts, all of them are on point and give helpful insight into how to manage personal finances and relationships- I love listening to this show. The advice (especially from Dave) is very direct and I understand that some people can’t take that- like Dave says, you can always stop listening if you don’t like it: your choice. I know some reviews talk about how he berates people or isn’t helpful, but you’ve got to realize he has just a few minutes with each caller and if you’re going to make a lasting impression and change lives in just a few minutes- you have to be very direct. America needs more people to listen to this show.

Berating and Ridiculing Callers Instead of Advising
Why would anyone call this show for help when most of the time is spent criticizing and condescending the callers?? The March 14th episode with the girl who had enormous student loans just made me feel sorry for her and angry that she was berated instead of helped.
  • Western Webspinner
Good show but be aware of ideological rants
Really like Dave a lot. He does need to stay away from talking about national economics. Contrary to his assertion about the Laffer Curve, most economists have said the numbers don’t bear it out. And he needs to stop laughing about how entertaining the job cuts are that are being done by DOGE. It’s not funny. People of all sorts of backgrounds are suffering from ill-conceived amateurish blowtorch approaches. Dave is best when he focuses helping people with personal finance matters one on one—he is a true master in that area. Stick to your knitting.
  • hawks77
    Great info poor delivery!
Why does Dave have to be so disrespectful? Talking down to women and men calling them honey! Why would anyone want to call in and talk to this man?

    I miss the pre-2018 show
I have been listening to this show for nearly ten years. I couldn’t get enough when I discovered this show around 2015. However, the quality of this show really tanked starting around 2020. Dave—I love all you have done and thank you for your incredible service. However, if you want to leave behind the legacy you say we should strive for, please hand the show over to George full-time. He is the future. George—one of the things Dave did really well when answering calls is, before diving into the specifics, he usually started his answer with, “Here on this show we teach… the reason why we teach that is because… with that in mind, if you were my (insert family member) I would tell you this…” He always begins with the foundational principle. One of the reasons I loved the show even after years of listening to it and hearing the same type of call over and over is because I could start predicting what Dave was going to say, which is how I knew I was really understanding the principles. I think you do this to some degree, but never forget to always start with the principle. John—I never know what you are going to say. You often try predicting what someone is feeling or going throw, and it seems like you are wrong most of the time. Please consider coming up with your own version of fundamental principles and baby steps that are unchanging, like Dave did for money calls, so you always have something to ground your response. That will also help you respond more quickly and succinctly.

    Had to Stop
I stopped listening after Dave endorsed a fascist regime and wannabe dictator who was elected by people who would benefit from Dave’s traditional budget advise, but the endorsed candidate (unsurprisingly) doesn’t follow through on promises that would help the people who elected him.

No more Ramsey show for me
I have listened to the show for almost 5 years. On the last show played, Dave said this admin is cutting spending and he thinks that’s great. That’s not what the Budget says Dave. Swallow your pride and admit when you’re wrong. Unless you’re receiving the tax break and that’s why you’re in favor. The deficit will keep rising. So my views will go elsewhere. Thanks for all you’ve taught me but I will listen no longer.

Dave doesn’t care about your grandma losing Medicaid
When Biden was in office there was a lot of talk about the increasing prices on groceries and other products. The moment Trump is in office there is no mention of that except Dave saying tariffs are a good political strategy. Didn’t he interview Trump with the main topic being the discussion on lowing the cost of goods for the American people? Now because he is getting a tax cut he doesn’t call out Trump for doing nothing to decrease prices. He also doesn’t “care about grandma” aka doesn’t care if Medicaid or other services get cut. It’s great seeing the Christian values at work to help the elderly. Oh wait… Regardless the other hosts are great and keep in money focused. If you want to add in politics be willing to criticize and/or praise either party for their actions and just shoot the facts in government decisions that affect our money (it’s not fact that dodge is saving us a lot of money; in fact, their numbers were easily disproven).

    No More Dave Please
When I started listen to this show a few months ago it was everyone but Dave who would cohost and I’ve enjoyed that as they take turns speaking and share advice equally, sometimes not always even agreeing with each other or they offering different suggestions, etc. It felt like a real conversation. Now for the past couple of weeks Dave Ramsey is on the show and I can’t wait till he leaves! My rating went from a 5 down to a 3 because of him. It definitely feels like the “Dave Ramsey” show and that his cohosts barely get to speak and they just affirm everything he says. Big ego energy. He also tells to patronize people when he’s on the air, instead of just offering the advice like the other cohosts do. If he doesn’t leave soon, I’m probably going to switch over to just listening to the other shows without him. Great advice, but I don’t care for his delivery.

    George and Dave
It’s no question that the show has changed over the years. I miss the days when every question was about money. However I know Dave’s time is limited and the show has changed directions a bit. With that being said George Kamel is the future. He is smart and as busy as he is, he takes the time to answer questions on his socials. He goes above and beyond off air. On air he is right there with the legendary Dave. Dave I love how you are straight up. The world needs more of that. If I could make a wish going forward it would be to add more millionaire theme hours. #SellTheHorse

    Thoughts
I very much enjoy Rachel Cruz as she is a compassionate listener. John Deloney cuts people off, at times does not speak coherently, tries too hard to be relatable with self deprecating humor. I am listening to an episode in which a couple does not want to get married. That is becoming a common choice and JD as a licensed therapist should be aware that not everyone makes the choices he does. There is more than one way to live and to imply it is damaging to children is unprofessional. Dave makes false statements about Tariffs. I appreciate Ken’s viewpoint as his viewpoint isn’t skewed by Dave’s love of Trump and capitalism. Thank you Ken for standing even though Dave clearly was bullying you into changing your stance. If you are looking for a budgeting app. Try YNAB!

    Dave or George
Used to be my favorite daily listen, but any episode without Dave or George is unbearable to listen to. The advice is great, but the delivery has become often subpar

    Not the same without Dave
I have been an avid listener and completely agree that the show is not the same without Dave. I also agree that the new hosts do not resonate with me. I have stopped listening as often as I used to and no longer listen to any episodes without Dave.

    Need Dave back
We pretty much only listen to episodes with Dave, even if it’s an old episode we’ve already heard. He just gives better advice and cuts to the core of the issue(s). He knows when to dish out the tough love and/or compassion as needed and doesn’t let anyone off the hook including himself.

    Where’s Dave?
Where’s Dave? While the other personalities are great, it’s not the same without Dave. And I feel like the show has became more advertisement than advice. I’ve been a die hard listener for over 10 years and live the Ramsey way, but find myself listening to other podcasts more. Again, where’s Dave?

Really bad advice since Dave stepped back
I used to listen to Dave Ramsey back in the day and he generally gave really good advice. He isn’t always technically correct from a purely financial sense but his principles help regular everyday people get out and stay out of debt. The destination is more important than the journey. I just listened to 5 shows and the advice given was terrible because it’s obvious the hosts don’t attempt to understand the issues and they just want to hit the talking points. They give completely conflicting advice from show to show. They told a spouse that they shouldn’t complain to the in laws about their estate planning and then the next show they told a spouse she had every right to complain to in laws about their estate planning. Also they never have truly broke people on the show anymore. Dave often dealt with people that were destitute and he would say the creditors can pound sand, you’re litigation proof. These people would tell them to sign payment agreements. Bad bad advice.

    PLEASE BRING DAVE BACK!!!
Dave is the OG and the show is not the same without him. I like the other co-hosts but only listen when Dave is on. He said he’s never retiring, so get back on the air and don’t take so much time off lol.

    Come back Dave
How is this the Ramsey show without Dave ? I know you don’t care if you lose another long time listener, “turn the channel” as you say. Really sad that you lost your roots. You’ve made yours. Your welcome.

    Declining rapidly
The Ramsey Show used to be one of my favorite podcasts and go to on a daily basis with its information on financial freedom how to get out of debt and just overall being responsible with money. The newer personalities that Ramsey has employed such as John Delony, are very frustrating to listen to. The show is also being run by ads. It seems like after every caller there’s a 2 to 3 minute ad for some financial tool, there’s more ads than content on this podcast.

    Almost 5 stars
The segment I just heard with Jade and George absolutely broke my heart. The man with Parkinson’s, really needed some better advice and a little more of your time. I wish you would have held him over to the next segment because he’s literally dying. It seemed so insensitive to cut him off, give him a quick answer, and move on to joking around. Dr. John would have handled this call better. And I hope Wade finds someone he can call that will actually give him the time he deserves. 💔

    Miss Dave
Like another review, I miss Dave. I stopped following when Christmas came because I knew Dave would be gone a month or more. I check the contents and look at the hosts. No Dave. That’s the constant. Dave gone. Rachel almost has her father’s spark but the others aren’t Dave and it shows. When Dave goes, the show isn’t good. Rachel and John are pretty good together and spark, as well as Rachel and George. No one clicks with Jade. I cannot stand when she hosts. She so loud and bossy. Ken is like milquetoast. No fire and no chemistry with the audience. I still am not downloading another app. So, the 3rd hour is pfft!

    Ramsey for Life
I was 21 and didn’t know anything about money. I didn’t know how to be a great husband and lead well. Dave taught us from a very young age to do it the hard way which ended up being the easiest way to becoming independently wealthy. If there are any young 21 year old out there listen to this podcast and allow it to change your life. I’m 45 now and my wife and I have been beyond blessed for listening to Dave Ramsey. We’ve been made fun of. We’ve been criticized and we were looked down upon by broke people who did not have a clue how to build wealth. Because we refused to listen to them we became wealthy anyway, and I know you can too!

    I miss Dave
This is a program I have listened to for 20 years. Dave isn’t even co-hosting anymore. I scroll through trying to find an episode he is in. The others just don’t have what he does. Deleting the app and not leading anymore of his teachings at church. Sad….

    Never miss a show
John Deloney is good on his own show, but he’s really fallen off giving financial advice. He isn’t built for that, as most counselors everything is so dark and so overly emotional, it really is a turn off. Giving the woman advice had questions about her expensive homeowners insurance, tell her to get off social media and then use for 30 days is ridiculous. Her thoughts were important and valuable and shall a legitimate question and he just gives the worst advice.
  • Seyah_17
    Show is Interesting
It is interesting to hear people’s stories. Some people they basically tell them to get two jobs even though they are making good money. They forget that time is valuable and the most common thing people regret at the end of their life is that they regret working so much. Family is more important, making memories is more important. They never really give advice how you can manage that more drill working 80 hours a week so you can pay off any debt right now. Sounds good but while you are young is when you want to have fun and make memories. Also they tell you how to save then try to promote some life policy and promote their products, like bro, if I am listening to this podcast, I sure do not have money to waste on your products. Unless your product is making me money else I am keeping my money and investing.

Love the show. I listen daily for the past two years and although I may not relate to every situation there is always something to learn. Feelings aside they are helping people get out! Many of us need tough love when necessary. Jade and Dave are my favorite but I enjoy listening to everyone for sure!

    Used to Love This Show
First, I need to say I have learned a lot from Dave over the years. However, as of late I have found Dave really cringeworthy with guests. While he used to be harsh in a way that spurred action, now he just seems harsh and insensitive for no reason. Also, him railing against Fauci is getting old.
