Mr. Onken tries, but falls far short of true spirituality. Quite a bit of aimless and misguided rambling about things that he seems to not have fully grasped. If you're looking for God, He's not here. Of course, everything I say may be wrong, but you'll have to decide for yourself.

This podcast is awesome because it offers a plethora of insightful advice. The environment created by Nick is so positive and the information shared is extremely motivational. If you are looking to be inspired in your life and career this podcast is a must!

I've been following Nick on IG for a long time because I love his art and photography, but just recently begain listening to his podcast. Great content, interesting and inspiring whether he has a guest or is flying solo. Nick's podcast has flavorful content on life, business, and art, which he brings together to empower listeners.

Aspiring towards a nion life is a wonderful thing. I've enjoyed the thoughtful discussions Nick Onken fosters in this podcast about designing an intentional, artful work-life and personal life. Highly recommended for photographers, artists and creative spirits in need of refreshment, wisdom and in the constant search for refining our work in the world.

I came across this pod a few days ago and was so excited to hear Nick talk to guests. He is an extremely talented artist in multiple mediums and yet he remains undefined by his success. Instead his driven by his love of process and connection! He is a good person with a ton of empathy for his guests and an innate curiosity typical of a great creative. Love the pod and now listening back to the past hundred :)

I listen to several different podcasts and Shop Talk Radio is by far my favorite. I'd never heard the term "creative entrepreneur" before listening to Nick Onken's podcasts and it dawned on me that I am one! Nick interviews so many creative, inspiring, and enthusiastic individuals on his show- I find myself listening to them over and over to gather up all the easter eggs to store in my basket. Nick himself is humble, intelligent, and holds space for his guests in a way that allows them to share unabashedly their stories of success and failure. The best thing about the podcast is after listening, I find myself compelled to create- usually in ways I never considered before. Check it out!

This podcast has allowed me to peak into ways of living that I assumed people were just lucky to fall into. Nick’s guest prove time and time again that it’s never too late to make a bold change and to trust yourself when you fall as long as you’re willing to put in the hard work of getting back up.

My favorite episodes are the one with Vanessa Van Edwards and the other with Erv Braun. Nick is great at getting amazing guests, putting the spotlight on them, and letting them shell out tons of nuggets of wisdom.

I'm telling everyone I know to listen to Shop Talk. Nick OnKen's voice is impactful, curious, honest and raw. As a small town girl that is a director, arts educator, illustrator, and writer, it can feel lonely trying to find conversation about art, money, optimizing technology and our body, mind, soul alignment. Nick brings like minded people together and makes you feel like you are all just chillin in your living room! He asks the Oprah questions. Love it!

Nick touches on all the bases that make up being a self employed creative - how to stay inspired, managing time, developing good business practices etc. Definitely does his homework and asks deeper questions that help shed light. I always look forward to the new episodes. Keep it up!

Nick targeted this podcast specifically to creatives, whom often struggle quite differently to those who are business or technology oriented entrepreneurs. Nick's interviews and insights has inspired a lot of actions for me as a creative, to learn and build my own business for my passions.

I.love.this.podcast. I was introduced to Shop Talk Radio because I saw a post on FB that Stacy London was a guest, and I was immediately hooked! Nick’s guest are individually interesting and so wildly creative each in their own way. While this podcast is geared towards Creative Entrepreneurs, it it a great listen for anyone with creative fibers in their being. Listening to Nick’s amazing guests gives you personal insight on how to unlock your creativity, overcome obstacles and speed bumps along you journey, and encourages you to dare greatly in order to become the best version of you.

Nick is an artist to the core, and his interviews with the top creatives and entrepreneurs in the world always leave me feeling inspired. His series on creating a life in art is super helpful and educational. So glad to have discovered this invaluable resource.

I stumbled across Shop Talk a few months ago and ever since I’ve been addicted. I appreciate Nick’s style of interviewing, he doesn’t seem to waste time and always asks interesting questions that get his guests talking and telling stories. His guest’s are always interesting and offer fantastic advice and insight into finding passion and making something out of it. Finding myself at a career crossroads in life I have found Shop Talk Radio a breath of fresh air in the many start-up, career advice and entrepreneurial Podcasts out there.

Nicks Advice and great interview questions and positioning make this one of the most useful podcasts I’ve ever heard. Definitely a must for creatives and the entrepreneurial pro and beginner.

I’m personally a photographer and have been checking out different podcasts about entrepreneur when I came across Nick Onken’s Shop talk. I like his photography which draw my attention to this podcast but after a few episode I’m glad that I subscribed! He interviews really cool guest with a wealth of knowledge who speak open and sincerely on a variety of topics that is sure to help you step your game up. So blessed to have this resource. So far episode #37 w/ Jon Levy is my favorite.
