    Leftist Slant
A show that offers a somewhat quick review of the week’s news, though often interrupted by plugs promoting Leftist politicians and Leftist agendas by the program’s staff and guests. Lately (October 2024), this show is promoting groomers and a sexual political agenda. In November 2024, the host referenced the F-bomb in a description of the Republican Party’s favorable results in the election. In another episode, a panelist is apparently a groomer. In the same month, the two guests of the show were part of a grooming-promoting TV series. And WWDTM chose to have grooming as an affirmation portion of their Thanksgiving special. WWDTM, we just want to laugh about the news. We do not need a sexual political agenda foisted on us weekly or every other week.

Great Show, not crazy about the extras
I love this show. Intelligent, witty, clever and spontaneous. My only gripe is the intermixi g of the episodes with bonus material. I appreciate the extras but when I'm driving, I don't want those extras messing up my pod cast play list. We need a way to separate them so I can choose what I listen to instead of having to fumble with the controls whilst driving. Can we do this?

Please stop putting other shows in the feed
I’m a long time listener and love the show. Please stop putting other shows in the feed on a weekly basis. Put an episode in once in a while and if they’re good enough they’ll stand on their own.

    Voice over for Negin?
Love the show! Love almost all the hosts. But please, please voice over Negin Farsad. I truly feel bad saying it, but it’s like nails on a chalk board & I dramatically wanna stick a nice pic in my ear drum. And it’s such a bummer to not be able to listen to so many episodes because of their voice. I’m sure they are an incredible person, but …

    Love the show
One star because now I’m getting episodes of other shows in addition to the show I subscribed to. I was annoyed when I thought it was a one-off teaser episode. This week is the.. third, maybe fourth? Fire Chad or Suzy or whoever in marketing for this one. I may just drop the subscription if it continues.

    Dulcé Sloan guest host
I’m a weekly listener. Fun show, however Dulcé Sloan is an annoying host. Had to stop listening about half way in.
  • Ib Beijjng
Dulce Sloan ‘s high pitch screeching kind of hard to listen to.
Enjoy the show usually and her humor but hard to take her over the top voice for the entirety of the show

    Luv wait wait
NPR’s Wait Wait Don't Tell Me is a beloved show I catch each week & have seen in person! A funny imaginative show each week. On the radio & as a podcast!

    The highlight of my week
Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me is the high light of my week. I have been an enthusiastic listener for years. The conversation and guests are always interesting and the comedy has me laughing out loud!! Keep up the great work. BUT PLEASE GET RID OF How To Do Everything. PLEASE remove it from the WWDTM feed ASAP. It is not smart or useful or entertaining. The episode about tooth brushes etc was completely ridiculous and a waste of time. Not funny, not clever and incredibly irritating I will never get that time back! I would ordinarily never consider writing a bad review. But this episode was so horrible, I just had to write it.

Look Forward to This Show Each Week!
Peter’s smarts, Bill’s sultry voice and the panelists’ comedic spins offer a unique twist on current events. So fun!

Talk tuah is way better not only is Talk tuah way better than this trash it also makes the best experience in your life. There’s nothing like listening to the talk tuah podcast, eating a lunchly, and having a prime to wash it all down.

Longtime fan disappointed in current direction
I LOVE this show. Like, I’ve been a consistent listener every weekend for almost 2 decades. But the last year or two of episodes have been concerning to me — I love most of the panelists, especially Tom Papa, Negin Farsad, and Alonzo Bodden, but Peter Sagal has become strangely rude to many of the call-in guests (and not in a funny way) and talks over many of the celebrity guests. In a recent show with Gary Oldman, he barely let Oldman talk or show any of his personality. Sagal also was rude to a woman who called in who had a name from a song, and when he asked her if she was named after the song, she gave a long answer about why she WASN’T, and he replied by saying that she should just say she WAS because people would get bored of her real story. That episode left a very bad taste in my mouth and it’s been hard to move past that. I would love to see someone else take the reins of the show, such as Tom Papa or Negin Farsad — who are incredible guest hosts — and hear more from Chioke I’Anson as an alternating moderator with Bill Kurtis.

    Apologize to Mr. Babylon!
As a fellow BRIAN, the misspelling of his name as BRAIN in the episode description should have been caught by editors.

Wait Wait … Stop stuffing the feed!
Wait Wait is one of my favorite shows. But I stopped subscribing when NPR stuffed Everyone and their Mom in the same feed. It was pretty clear from other reviews that listeners didn’t want this. I didn’t want it. A different show belongs in its own feed—not here. When NPR finally dropped it, I resubscribed. But now NPR is polluting the feed again with How To Do Everything. Again: different show…put it in its own feed. Meanwhile, I’m unsubscribing. Again.

I’ll listen if there’s Mo Rocca
He’s really the only thing I enjoy about the show at this point. I hate Joyelle in particular
  • Scapester
    My favorite show
I have been listening to this show since 2005. It’s our staple family show that we listen to every Sunday morning .

    Excellent show
This is a great show with funny panelists and smart guests. I miss the days of Paula Poundstone, Alonzo Boden, and Roy Blount Jr. being on regularly, but it’s still fun and informative. Thank you for the weekly entertainment!

Dispatches from the DNC were a waste of time
and resources although Emma Choi was pretty charming and funny. Why did her voice sound better on the tape from the convention center then when she appears on the show.

    Less Than Topical Lately
For a topical news quiz show there seem to be a lot of “best of” compilations. What, are you guys on the John Oliver schedule? WWDTM used to be habitual listening, but you have cured me of that habit going forward.

    Fauci is a liar!
While it is a fact that npr is generally friendly to government apparachiks, i still don’t understand why they would allow this moron onto their show.

    It’s just creepy now
One sided woke DEI wasteland. The undertones of hate mixed with virtue signaling garbage is sad. It’s not a space for everyone anymore. I stopped donating around 2014 and checked in to see if it’s gotten better. Last week show confirmed it was a wise decision. Sad what they’ve become.

    Best, NPR, ever!
I used to listen to this with my parents every Saturday, and I remember Carl Kassel being on the show until Bill Kurtis took over. It was so great! Keep up the good work!
  • CanYouFrogThat
    Funny
It’s a good podcast with all hosts and panel being pretty funny. The whole Emma Choi period with her show being added to this stream was weird and very unnecessary. Most of the guests really have nothing to add other than their generic drab and marketing. If they got rid of the celeb guest and stuck to the panel, call in from from your average joes, this would be a great podcast.
  • TrueRevewer
Truly, the best podcast out there
I grew up listening to wait wait don’t tell me with my mom. The show has been going on for basically as long as I’ve lived and looking forward to each episode each week has been staple to my life essentially. Some people seem to hyper focus on the panelists and the guest episode which really irritates me. Every episode is different which is what makes it special. The fact that they change panelists often and the guests every time is what it makes it refreshing. It’s the lighthearted family atmosphere and the dynamic between the crowd, the panelists, Peter and Bill, and the contestants that truly makes the show special. The fact that they have the ability to talk about current issues in a lighthearted manner is super important in the world where that is not such a common thing. There’s a reason it’s lasted over 25 years and there’s a reasonable stay from much longer.

    Game Show
This is a really fun game show for those that enjoy current events and strange news. I always try to play along and it’s really fun. It’s worth a shot to listen at least once.
  • Saurolophus
Lots of fun! BUT caveat emptor.
Wonderfully entertaining! I love this show! Unfortunately, the commercials are off-putting. CAVEAT EMPTOR: I tried the free trial with the expectation that the commercials would stop, but they did not. (Wondry nixes all commercials with a subscription). Despite the off-putting commercials, I let the free trial lapse thinking I wouldn’t mind paying for one month, but to my surprise I was automatically billed for a full year—$29! Really?! I have several podcast subscriptions, but I’ve never been billed up front for a full year. I immediately cancelled my WWDTM subscription and Apple gave me a full refund.

A Review of "Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!"
I had found certain parts of what I had believed certain installments of this "Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!" to had been vulgar, unnecessary, unprofessional, negative, disgusting, and detrimental (especially toward certain parts of them I had found to had been enjoyable and informative).

    Philadelphia episode
Regarding this week’s episode from Philadelphia: I couldn’t make it past the first ten minutes. It’s not so cute when two out of three panelists are both stupid AND ignorant. Do you really think guests like this are going to draw more listeners to NPR? I think not.
  • luvvagoodstory
    Can’t listen to her..
Dulce Sloan wants attention in the worst way.. It’s somewhat ironic that I can’t listen when she’s on.. the cackling, the ‘look at me’ mentality.. it’s exhausting.. Do better NPR

    More WWDTM. More Peter.
I have listened to this show faithfully for over 15 years. I now listen to the new ones and go back and listen to old ones. I love that the podcast allows me to do this. I do not like the little add-on shows. Sorry, but I don’t find them clever, insightful or funny. The show, however, is all those things. Peter, I don’t want to pile on, but I would like to see two shows a week from you and the crew. I know you have it in you. This would be of value to listeners and I am sure your subs would skyrocket if you made the additional show an exclusive to members. Anyway, love the show. I miss Carl but love Bill too. Love the guests and the callers. I’m sure the production crew works very hard on every show. You all do such a great job. 👏🏼

Why Butler and no Helen Joyce?
“Wait, wait” pretends to be “fair and balanced” and make equal fun of both Right and Left. They never make fun of men wearing womanface or mansplaining women. They invited they/them Judith Butler on the show but are too misogynistic to invite an apologetically female PhD in Mathematics Helen Joyce.
