    Nice, slow speed. But why is the United States mentioned in every single episode? It’s kind of exhausting to hear about Trump in every episode of this German language podcast. Maybe some news from other parts of the world would be nice.

    the description says we will be learning Spanish? Was that a mistake? I want to hear and learn German. What is going on?

    This podcast used to give about ten minutes of brief current events, but in it’s current form just provides the headlines for the news covered in their app. Not at all worth subscribing to—yes, it’s free but now it’s just an extended commercial for the app.

    Propaganda in slow German would be a better title. Too many episodes have ridiculous, leftist commentary on news items. It’s the same commentary in multiple languages versions, making it seem like the whole world has on view of events.

    I'm in the process of re-learning German after about 15 years. News in Slow German has been a great way for me to listen to spoken German at a pace that lets me understand the dialog. The news stories presented are major headlines, which helps listeners fill in the gaps and pick up new vocabulary. Highly recommended!!!
