    Get Real!!!
I love their insightful points, differing experiences and their genuine desire to make a difference. Each week is very unique and the gentlemen provide fresh opinions. However, sometimes their own success peeks through making it can come off less relatable to a 20-something in the south. Love you guys though!

    Misogynist
You guys completely did Taylor Lorenz dirty. You misrepresented her quote to air a ten year old grievance that Obama care wasn’t more well received??Get over yourself and have more women on for the love of god. Agree with other ppl saying you are falling into the traps of other mainstream media outlets. Crooked I guess just bc you overwork and underpay your employees I guess OVER IT

    Out of Touch
I listened to these guys for years, but I think I’m done. Their unpacking of the election and why Kamala lost was baffling me. If your policies are not supported by the American people, no amount of messaging with fix those positions. Hearing absolutely no push back on the political consultants who failed when the election was lost was shocking. Then the UHC news, followed by the massive online reaction. These guys‘ response was tone deaf. They really don’t get it.

    They’ve changed greatly
I don’t know if it’s because they’ve retained corporate sponsors or if it’s a viewpoint change, but Pod Save America has become similar to typical corporate media. In one of their more recent videos, they talk about how they feel Joe Biden is quietly quitting, even though he is out giving speeches and doing his job. This, combined with them helping to fracture the Democratic Party after the Trump-Biden debate, has caused me to stop wanting to listen. I used to be an avid listener, but these changes have made it difficult to continue.

    Frustrating Ro Khanna Interview
Why are you tolerating Ro waxing poetical about cursing politicians when the concern is over Dems neglecting political tactics sufficiently effective to prevent a violent uprising by the populace. There’s a reason why the GOP delivers for their constituents. Shapiro discussion shows underestimation of resolve regarding Palestine. Preventative Care Coverage The under 45 yo know the word “colonialism” bc of the horrors of Palestine, not the reverse. Though there are many horrors throughout our lifetimes in the world, Palestine is unique due to our government suppressing the BDS movement in ways contrary to every principle America claims regarding freedom of speech and peaceful protest and even free market capitalism, along with the video record and first hand accounts communicated directly instead of through the typical media gatekeepers. Truly, Shapiro would have been a disaster, although I and many others opposed to his stance on Israel’s role in US politics would have still voted for the Harris ticket. Those claiming bc Shapiro parroted the party line regarding a cease fire we should believe he has the same stance as Walz are underestimating our intelligence. Tommy and Andrew Weissman seemed confused as to why private insurance companies would prefer not to cover preventative care under the ACÁ considering it is much more cost effective in the long term. However, the bottom line calculations are altered by the fact that as soon as someone gets old and/or very sick they are moved to Medicare and Medicaid due to age or medical disability, which transfers the cost back to the tax payer during the period of life that’s most expensive medically. If you are diagnosed with cancer early and able to continue to live and work then private insurance will likely be covering your therapy. Most patients cost more to treat during the final 30 days of their lives than the sum spent on their care during the entirety of their lives up to that point. It’s more corporate socialism. The private insurance companies collect high premiums and high copays while everyone is relatively healthy and rarely needing medical services only to shift the exorbitant costs of caring for and treating the disabled and the elderly back to the tax payers. It’s a real problem and a fundamental flaw of the ACA as currently constructed.

    Out of touch
PSA has been adrift for a while but it’s gotten bad bad since the summer. They do not understand rural voters or try to, and show contempt for anyone who asks them to properly consider class. Their activism is performative at absolute best.

    A great left pod
Pod Save has been a defining part of liberal media since our post-2016 soul searching and resistance. Their episodes are always insightful, thoughtful, and entertaining.

    The cognitive dissonance is ridiculous
I know my previous review wasn’t published, but you are ridiculous. Nancy Mace is a champion for women-focused policies. Progressives are losing because you refuse to advocate for policies that affect most Americans and instead hide behind increasingly smaller interest groups.

    Living in a bubble
I used to really love this podcast. But as we’ve repeatedly seen, liberals who make a lot of money and are catapulted to positions of power within the party (officially or otherwise) tend to become isolated from the people they are supposed to be connecting with. Your interpretations of the 2024 election have truly revealed how out of touch y’all are. Sad.

    Condescending, in an echo chamber
I tried listening to these guys, it’s impossible. They’re condescending, one sided, and humorless. It’s too bad, there’s legit need for quality content from their perspective, they’re just not it
  • MisakaImouto
Jon Favreau was on PAC that fought public healthcare
Look up who one of founders of "United States of Care", a PAC started to protect private health insurance in the 2020 election, which fought against Medicare for all. You'll find one of Pod Save America's hosts, Jon Favreau. These people are corporate talking heads who want to influence you, not liberals who want to improve the lives of working people.

    Good Podcast
Dan, Jon and Tommy are very good podcasters, this coming from a guy that voted for Trump 3 times. It’s nice to know how Dems think about politics. I don’t agree with most but agree with some of what they say. They won’t change any minds that understand economics but good nonetheless.

    Propaganda
Each sentence contains words like “Messaging” “narrative” “story” “vision”. If you want to know how desperate Dems are to control the “narrative”, just listen to these bizarro out of touch freaks. Are they not embarrassed of these awful words coming out of their face? Democracy is not a cult, quit acting like baby hitlers boo hooing that people have their own thoughts based on their experience and they should go outside and talk to someone regular, like human. Ick ick ick

    Well-heeled Centrist Democrats
They took in a little more than 8 million in PAC money (via Vote Save America) and want to make sure the stay dead center so they can continue to fly city to city taping their Pod, charging $300 per ticket, expenses paid through Crooked Media, then talk as if they are anyway in touch with people. On a recent episode they called for a debate on Medicare for All as if they haven’t been full throated in their support on sensible, incremental change, as if someone with a lien on their home can afford to wait for reform in how we pay for healthcare. Not this generation, sorry. They also are Head Counselor of Camp It’s Unrealistic to Think We Can Have Single Payer. They’re gross, and don’t want to see their excesses challenged or worse, go away.

    Corporate sponsored fakes
Just learned how Jon Favreau sat on the board of the Founders Council to fight against Medicare for All and spread pro-business ACA policies. These guys are just pro-business shills masquerading as progressive.

Not sure who’s still listening 12-12-25
Not sure who’s still listening, but it’s wild. After they tried to steer a conversation about Luigi to the PUBLIC OPTION, I’m out. These hacks simp for the part of the Democratic Party that lost elections or failed to take control of congress in 1994 1996 1998 2000 2002 2004 2010 2012 2014 2016 2022 and 2024. Lack of imagination with a loser mentality. Donor class, not working class propaganda

    Useless Hypocrites
The only thing you will learn on this podcast is how to be an elitist smug know it all, yet be wrong and whine about it. These guys are the epitome of elitist mentality. Hey boys, do you remember Dean Phillips now? The reason you guys are in politics is because you’d be fired if you were ever in corp America. This podcast is officially a waste of time. Time you will never get back. If you want to be misinformed and wrong but have an excuse for everything, then this is the podcast for you.

    Yall really out of touch
I used to listen very faithfully to you guys…until the Palestine crisis escalated and it felt like you didn’t understand WHY so many young people were angry and demanding action, the these norms and plays weren’t working. I tried listening again after T reelection and you guys still are out of touch. The nail for me really was you guys not understanding that it’s not apathy driving people supporting the UHC killer, it’s how broken the system is and finally on a small scale we got a win. Do better or lose again.

    Unsubscribed
Had been subscribed for years. Unsubscribed over the reaction to how attractive one of the hosts found the United Healthcare alleged murderer. Couldn’t contain herself, the first thing she said was to correct the other host to say he was hot and that she “would”. Appreciated the newsworthiness of this podcast in the past, but I’m not interested in fetishizing alleged murders and diving into pop culture type jokes.

Hey bros, you lost me there. The ceo apathy is not virtue signaling. It’s the reality. You’re that far removed from the poor people that you don’t realize this is a true moment, nobody is signaling. Good luck with this whole protect the system vibe.

    Un-self Critical
The interview of the Harris campaign leaders was emblematic of why I stopped listening to these guys. They’re unwilling or unable to turn a critical eye on the Democratic establishment of which they’ve been a part. According to these advisors the reason Harris campaign lost was the timeframe was too short. The MAGA Super PACs were better. And the hurricane. At no point did Dan ever press them on the factors they controlled. This was a close race and a very difficult one for the reasons they’ve indicated and yet at no point did they ever say here’s what could’ve been done differently. Zero acknowledgment of any errors on their part despite losing every battleground state. Sadly, all of these people will continue to be well paid campaign consultants and PSA will still be the voice of liberals which is why the Dems will continue to lose. Wake up and get out of the echo chamber.

College educated dem losing faith in institutions
On the 12/6/24 pod, Favs described “the axis of American politics right now” is divided between the college uneducated who distrust institutions and the college educated who trust institutions, think everything is working and want to defend them. NO. I’m a life long Dem, college educated, but I no longer believe in point blank defending these institutions. Some are deeply flawed and some “norms” actually block Dems from helping people: electoral college, filibuster. From left to right, people have been cheering on the death of a healthcare CEO, something is deeply rotten in the United States of America.

    Starf**ckers
These guys are of the same ilk as David Axelrod and James Carville. I remember listening to you guys Interview Jake Tapper about some idiotic book he wrote and it was a circle jerk instead of posing critical questions. By the end of the interview he was interviewing you guys because you’re completely self absorbed. The proof of your detachment and drive for personal recognition rather than political or social change is that you based your operations in Los Angeles. You just wanted access to established wealth and fame.

    Hassan Piker, seriously?
This show has degenerated so thoroughly that you need to have antisemite Hassan Piker on? Get yourself together. I’m done with this show, and Crooked entirely.

    Really
Completely and totally DELUSIONAL, If you’ve committed no crime you need no pardon. Unlike Eric Holder, who sold guns to cartels, and lied to Congress under oath. But Democrats have no fear of prosecution for anything.

    The ad chat
I love the pod, but the discussion this morning about ad choices is frustrating. If you step out of your political bubble into middle America, you will realize that almost no one watches live tv, the math wasn’t that complicated, and the Harris team misspent their billion 💰. I am 50, a strong Dem, not tech savvy, but even I know this. Stop making excuses, just like that crazy interview with the Harris leadership. Good grief. When the old coot and the immigrant bajillionairre outsmart us, we get an old coot fascist and a broken country. Don’t sugarcoat it. All that said, I love you guys (usually!)

    AMERICANS CARE ABOUT NORMS!!!
Jon Favreau just sarcastically speculated that Americans don’t care about norms since Trump was elected and as a result, pardoning that pig Hunter Biden is A OK! 😡(12/6/24 episode) Americans care about norms, but we’ve been taught that norms are a fantasy because ALL politicians are scum that have lied to us for decades!! I hate Trump, but I don’t trust you, Barack, or Biden!

I rebuke you in the name of Jesus.
  • JohnE in Seattle
    I agree with the Pod
While it’s understandable that the president pardoned his son, sending his press secretary out to lie and to lie numerous times himself while they were still considering such a pardon, undermines faith in the honesty of politics. Plus, Hunter Biden is not the only person threatened with prosecution by the president elect. This pardon would look much better if it were accompanied by the pardon of others. Shame on you, President Biden.

    Insightful informative and hilarious
I love hearing them engage in really thoughtful and meaningful discussions and analysis. And they crack each other up and you can’t help but laugh along with them. It’s really good. It’s like eavesdropping on a conversation at the bar or dinner and you wish you had friends like these.
