    Love
I’ve been listening to this podcast before podcasts were a thing..I used to listen on my computer!! Anyways, I love Tsh and I love how she’s always evolving this podcast. I find them always so refreshing to listen to as I’m cooking or trying to relax.

    A favorite podcast!
I love hearing Tsh’s honest and authentic experiences and recommendations. I found this podcast after reading her book At Home in the World, and it is fantastic to hear her cohosts and the ways they are simplifying and maximizing their lives.

    Such a treasure!
Listening to Tsh is so soothing. I learn something new and helpful in every episode. Just finished the episode about technology, and even though I don’t have children, there were many take-away for me to incorporate into my own life with my phone and other technology. Thanks again for a great podcast!

    Just what I craved
Thank you for reading to me. Listening to episode 210 filled me up. I simply loved hearing your book. So much so I purchased it and can not wait to dive in. Thank you for your creative time. Truly, Rebecca A

A refreshing listen for your Friday
Tsh, thanks for all of the content you put out - I appreciate it and highly enjoy listening to it! You said in today’s episode that you don’t want to be an influencer, but I’m glad you do what you do. I’m 27 & just married, and you inspire me to remember that the adventures don’t have to end if and when I have kids - i love to see that interesting travel is still possible!

    As Title Suggests
I felt the content was a little too simple for my taste and not thought provoking enough to hold my interest. After attempting to listen to several episodes I zoned out after 15-20 minutes, because the hosts never seemed to get to the meat of their content. It felt like they were filling time. This show gets a lot of good reviews, but the content and the lengthy nature of the delivery isn’t a good fit for me.

I look forward to this show every week
I love the new format that ties the blogposts and podcast episode together. The travel advice is fascinating, and I genuinely love Tsh’s perspective on living life simply and with purpose. It’s not an exaggeration to say that this podcast/blog has been life changing for me.

    This show is my jam!
I love everything about this show even the ads (If Tsh advertises it, I will probably buy it if I’m in the market for that product)! I look forward to my Friday commute every week now, this show is perfect for sipping my coffee to and getting into a great headspace for the last day of the week!

    Delightful
So glad to have discovered Tsh and this podcast! I never thought I would say this, but I find myself looking forward to my commute to work now. Thank you Tsh and the many guests on this show. I love listening to people share their stories, learning about what daily life looks like for different people, and about the little things and big things that are making people happy. I have gleaned many resources, gift ideas, and book ideas from Tsh and her guests as well. This podcast is inspiring, delightful, and definitely on good list!

    Inspiring and Applicable
I love that so much of what I hear on this podcast is advice I can apply TODAY! Inspiring and encouraging-I love listening to Tsh! I find myself referring back to the podcast and the things I’ve learned in my conversations throughout the day!

    Love simple!
Thank you for covering the changes coming up, but one I missed after listening to the most recent episode, is women’s work going to be the second half of each episode? Love simple but always pass on Women’s work as it’s not of the same interest to me.

    Always fantastic
No matter the subject or the format, Tsh's podcast is always so interesting and inspiring. Even when I don't agree with her, her guests, or her co-hosts, I love hearing from smart, compassionate people with a different viewpoint and learning something new. Thank you for creating such rich content for us, Tsh, and for being willing to give us a glimpse into your life and your heart!

    Refreshing and worth while
Wonderful short talks about redirecting life to what’s important. Hosts tell about what they’ve done to make their life more simple and help guide through some thoughts to help others make their own decisions on making their life more simple.
  • Stephyweds
Lost me with all the ads
Isn’t this podcast about simplicity? I was thrown off hearing so many endorsements for products during their podcast. It’s disappointing.

    Love, love, love this show.
Tsh is very insightful and brings a fresh perspective to the topics she cover. She also is a great interviewer. I love learning about all the amazing jobs women do. I am entertained and educated when I listen in. 💗💗

    Bummer
Bummer, I was enjoying the podcast until the host elevated people from Austin above the rest of us Texans. I think if you spent some time with us you’d see we aren’t “common” or “typical” and if we listen to country music that doesn’t make us unsophisticated hicks.
  • I love fitness
    disappointed
when I first started listening it felt like a girlfriend chat. Unfortunately I tuned out when Tsh started giving nutrition advice, promoting a specific diet plan, commenting how and when to eat (or not eat) with no recommendation to check with a doctor, trained dietitian or certified nutritionist. Any restrictive diet is just that, a diet and should only be encouraged by a professional. Study after study shows diets do not help people maintain long term weight loss. You have a platform where people are listening; when you comment on personal food philosophies it comes accross as advice. Please use your platform well.

    Warm & compelling interviews
I so much enjoy the podcast- in particular, the Work interviews. Tsh is a skilled and hospitable host with a knack for finding interesting guests.

    Tsh is Saving My Life
I love Tsh! I love listening to Tsh because not only does she always sound so calm and collected, but she always provides insight for my in so many areas of my life. She gives me something to take away in each episode. Sometimes it’s a thought, maybe a question to meditate on, or some practical tools I can use in my own life. Tsh delivers in a way that is true to her show; simple. I don’t feel overwhelmed with information but rather encouraged to do more, do better, or be better. Thanks Tsh! Love Love Love the Simple Show.

    Love Tsh!
I can’t say enough about Tsh Oxenreider. I love every piece of content and art she creates. I recently became a Patreon supporter and I feel so great about being part of her community. Simple brings inspiring (not pandering) stories and tips on living a simple full life. Definitely worth subscribing!!

    Must listen
Simple is what first get me hooked on podcasts. And I still won’t miss an episode from Tsh. I feel inspired and ready to make this world and my place in the world a better place. I get so many ideas and resources. I love the honesty and vulnerability!

    I ❤️ Tsh!
I love this podcast. I feel like I’m friends with Tsh and would be in real life. No matter the subject, I’m in. She’s such a great host and the podcast ranges from women who are thriving in their careers, to parenting, to overall living with intentionality. When I initially wrote Tsh my phone autocorrected to “Yay” which I think is pretty accurate about how I feel about her. :) Five stars!

    Enjoying Simple
I enjoy the diverse array of topics and come away curious, inspired, refreshed— and content. Listening to stories from women striving to be fully themselves encourages me to do the same! I also appreciate that I can have it on while my three littles are around without worrying that they’ll hear something I’d rather they didn’t.
  • Susantsf
    Helpful and relaxed podcast
I love how positive and honest the hosts are with each other. Their conversations always leave me feeling relaxed and motivated to try out different life techniques for cleaning, enjoying the outdoors, and self-care. I always come away from the episodes with something incredibly simple and easy to try out.

A podcast for upper middle class white ladies
While I appreciate the general goal of this show, which seems to be to focus on living simply and according to one’s own value system, the podcast itself contradicts its purpose in a few ways. First, the podcast has a ton of ads. This is understandable since people making such high quality podcasts have to keep the lights on, but in a podcast about not focusing on materialistic things, this seems rather disingenuous. I don’t view this as much of a fatal flaw than other concerns. Further, these people are all clearly very well-off (whether they think they are or not) and, from what I’ve heard, all white Christian women with kids. Teaching people to expand their worldview without actually interacting with people outside your group is, again, disingenuous and very privileged. Finally, the podcast is clearly geared almost exclusively toward the previously mentioned demographic. The travel episode, which attempts to help the poorsies of the world who can only travel abroad for two weeks instead of two months, completely misses the point that the vast majority of people can’t take that kind of time off work. It’s completely impossible to relate. None of these women have 9-5 jobs like the majority of women who work outside the home. This seems to be exclusively for rich SAHMs who potentially have side gigs that they do for fun and extra spending money. If that’s you, you’ll likely love this podcast and maybe get a lot out of it, but it really seems to only have that niche appeal.

    Carmel beach girl
I like so much about this podcast but I also find myself avoiding when less desirable topics are discussed. My favorite series was on what do you say no and yes to. I particularly love how good Tsh is at interviewing others, no one can do it quite like her. The podcast is great quality and easy to listen to.
  • AppReviewer1975
Used to love - hate the ads
This was a great podcast for a long time. Then the ads became pervasive, but I could at least fast forward through them. Now, though, there are ads disguised as content, with Tsh in conversation with a “brand ambassador” about products. It feels super manipulative and disingenuous. Not sure I can continue to listen with this going on.
  • RockyD828
    My favorite podcast!
I find myself coming back to this podcast over and over again. It is a wealth of practical life wisdom and Tsh’s (and her cohosts’) energy is positive, empowering and comforting. They are the friends you want to have in your life.

    Love this show!
The Simple Show is the first podcast I started listening to - I instantly loved Tsh and her approach to living! I have a small business cleaning homes and Tsh has become my good friend - I listen to her for hours as I scrub floors and dust windows - her podcast has been a constant source of inspiration!

    Refreshing but demographic focused
This is a pretty good podcast. I needed a new podcast to listen to and stumbled on this one. They represent a very specific demographic and stage of life, neither of which I fall in to. I accept the fact that this podcast isn't made for me or with me in mind. That being said some episodes are more relatable than others so I try to seek out those. Tsh and her co-hosts are inspiring and seem to really do what they can to get back to a relaxed physical space and state of mind. They take the adult pressure off of "strive strive strive" and redirect it to "do what you can, enjoy where you are, and live in gratitude." I will continue listening. Thanks for creating this ladies. ____________ Updated 2018: I’m just going to say it, I’m not a fan of the new format. Now they talk about a topic for say 3-4 weeks instead of a new topic every week. They also say it’s a “deep dive” but the topic isn’t especially deep, they just cover it for long. I miss the variety of having a new topic every week. I had to unsubscribe. I try to still give the episodes a chance but I lose interest at the second episode of four during a deep dive. I’m sure this is just the direction they wanted to go in. I get that content creators make content that THEY like, and listeners can either take or leave. Just saying I missed the ones!

    Uplifting

    Way too many ads!

    Great topics
I really loved this last episode about social self care. And in general I find the topics relatable and I appreciate the candor and kindness of the hosts. Keep ‘em coming!

    The best!
By far my favorite podcast! I look forward to it every week! I originally found Tsh when I read her book At Home in the World and fell in love with her story. I was also pleasantly surprised my other favorite author of Chasing Slow, Erin Loechner, is a regular guest!
