Yankee Doodle 30Capo di tutti capi!!!Tom whipped that out when the Vrabel hire was gaining momentum, no doubt leaving his audience, save the Italian listeners, scratching their collective heads. And that’s part of the reason this is quality podcast—he gets ya thinking. Phil Perry, the senator, is also great. The two of them make a solid team. They don’t dive as deep as they used to (NFL news that’s not Patriot related is now nonexistent), thus the 4 star rating instead of 5. But it’s still a fun listen. I’m not a Pats fan and I still rarely miss a pod. A lot of other NFL team podcasts could learn a thing or three from this one. And, no, I won’t tell you the meaning of “capo di tutti capi”; I’ll make you look it up like I had to.

TuffyScruufyMayos BuddyCurrans such good buddies with Mayo that it totally warps his sense of reality. Listening to him defend mayo on national talk shows was brutal. Not only should mayo have been fired but he never should have been hired along with van pelt, wolfe, macadoo, glazer and the rest of the incompetents. Cant wait for Vrabel to clean house

-
Vinces GutFRAUDPodcast host is friends with head coach, doesn’t want him fired, even though he has shown himself to be shockingly incapable as the head coach and the team has made no progress in any aspect. Bring in ex teammate and friend of head coach, who argues that he shouldn’t be fired. That is honest web journalism for you, folks.

JschaefeTom E. Curran Has Lost His EdgeOnce a sharp analyst, Tom E. Curran’s “Patriots Talk” has devolved into a bland echo chamber. After helping push Belichick out the door, you’d think Curran would at least maintain his edge. Instead, he’s now a soft PR machine for the very people replacing the legend he tore down. Curran’s critical eye has vanished, and his once-balanced takes have turned into hollow praise. The hard-hitting analysis that once made him worth listening to? Nowhere to be found. He’s more interested in protecting his access than calling it like it is. Skip this podcast unless you like recycled praise and tired narratives.

Myers Jack TomLack of FocusThis used to be one of my favorite podcasts but Tom has become increasingly unfocused and non-sensical. In the latest episode he continuously harps on his pre-draft obsession of trading back for JJ McCarthy and a tackle, as if McCarthy would be a guaranteed answer at quarterback (ignoring the fact that JJ McCarthy won’t play a snap this year due to injury and that Maye has made consistent progress throughout camp). It was the wrong take prior to the draft and it’s still the wrong take. On top of that, he goes on a bizarre hypothetical rant about how Mac Jones could still be the quarterback here and they could draft other weapons. Uh what? It would be nice to gain actual insight on the array of roster decisions that the Patriots have made recently instead of discussing things that have been re-litigated over and over again all offseason.
-
ramjam2011Tom and Phil are a good comboThis is a solid Patriots podcast with weekly updates and digestible episode length. The hosts are knowledgeable and credible journalists. Curran has good sources and was the first to break that Belichick would not return to the Pats.

Mike in WPBIllogical ArgumentsTom E clearly was not a math major. He tries to draw a correlation with Bill Belichick’s 24 years of past drafts of the wide receiver position and Eliot Wolf’s future drafts of wide receivers. Most philosophy 101 students would have trouble with the following logic: * Bill Belichick was responsible for the Patriots drafts from 2000 thru 2023 *. Bill Belichick had a poor record of drafting wide receivers * Eliot Wolf became responsible for the Patriots drafts in 2024 * Therefore, Eliot Wolf will be bad at drafting wide receivers Maybe if Tom E wants to make logical arguments, he should start with something simple like the following: * I think * Therefore, I am

UpperFalls MartyDefense????????You seem to be spouting off that the pats defense is so bad that every team in the league will not have to punt. When we had no offensive line no offensive weapons the defense kept us in games , now we have a better qb more weapons and I don’t see how the oline can be worse how is it that they can’t score. This is a big guessing game when every other team has the greatest defenses and can score on us at will
-
ccp121123Good but Tom sensitiveI like Tom curren since he was writing for providence journal so I like his coverage. He had a terrible take a few years ago and I called him on it and he blocked me. It’s his way or no way. Would have got 5 but you know.
-
@pkusykHooray!It is great that the Patriots haven’t named Elliot Wolf as the GM. I’m sure ANYONE else they get will be a great improvement! In fairness—this might be a reflection of Daddy letting little Jonathon play with the toys. Could this be any worse?
-
robertluttExcellentTom does a magnificent Robert Kraft impersonation that will sound like a spot on Godfather but it’s worth the listen. Always entertaining and informative.
-
AnthochargersPhenomenal ShowLove the interplay between Tom and Phil. Entertaining and informative show.
-
Grash13Great show - Vikings tradeLove the show, Tom E. Keep it up. Now what would you rather have by the end of round 2? Justin Fields 2 tackles #1 WR prospect Vikings 2025 first rounder Or Drake Maye Left Tackle
-
anyname that isntalresdy takenOk. Gets OldCurran has his moments but it gets reallly tiring listening to Phil Perry whip up these made up scenarios and walking through them like there is any shred of truth to them. Too late for me, but Curran needs to get off the Perry horse and find someone that can talk sports less like a hen. Nick Cattles show is way better. Does research on the actual game (remember that thing men used to watch and talk about) and not focused on the gossip. Then walks you through the thinking/strategy at a fast pace instead of a repetitive second guessing marathon at a walking pace.

VA BrettTB12 & BBTom and Phil, Love the podcast, I listen twice a week, thank you for your great work. Do you think the dynasty series will impact BB’s coaching opportunities next season?
-
Dave PomerantzToo much of the same narrativeLove the podcast. I have a couple of suggestsions. In talking to Mac's QB coach, Tom was pushing his narrative on how the coaches were to blame. Too many questions were leading the witness rather than honestly seeking answers and too many questions were about who to blame. Can we get past the blame game? None of those coaches are here anymore. The questions is whether Mac can be fixed and if the coaches and the front office can make him serviceable. Even if he won't start. Too many of the podcasts harp on the same narrative of yelling at the coaches. Starting to sound like (gasp!) Felger.
-
Josh in ColoradoAwesome podcastI listen to several Patriots podcasts and I always look forward to this one. Tom and Phil crack me up! They are a great duo with great knowledge and entertainment.

radtzo?Mike Sandi from the athleticWho is this germ? Guys a squid from 20,000 leagues under the sea. I almost drove off the road with his sweat whispering lullaby talk speak. Boo that man. However, Absolutely love Tom Curran’s Podcast. You & Phil are the best out there! Hands down and it’s not even close… Period.

BradSohnBradinthecahhhJust a great pod! Deserves a sixth star.
-
ChefBrendanMapu is not a safetyHow can anyone take Curran serious when he thinks the LB Mapu taken in the 3rd was taken as a safety. He’s not a safety he’s a side to side LB who came up defending RPO. Curran is a fraud
-
JZA22Tom needs to stop with the bad jokesI tune into the podcast because I respect both Tom and Phil’s insight and sources, however, Tom’s lame jokes, tangents and rambling make it often unlistenable. He needs to cut that out and stay on track. You’re not Bill Burr, Tom, and the schtick isn’t funny. Keep the train on the track and the good Pats content coming.
-
Coltrane75Hot Takez!Tom is now in the business of trolling and hot takes, spinning most Patriot news as negatively as possible. Phil provides sanity and his guests are good. Mixed bag.
-
Glazed donut smileGoing down hill up your game TomI don’t find profanity offensive when it occurs in the course of normal dialog. But come on Curran, seems like he has to search for words that are designed to shock. He used to have insight but now I wade my way through his nonsense to listen to Perry (when he is not interrupted) . Show is falling short and frankly it lives on the contributions on other to be partly entertaining. Becoming a hard pass If you believe Felger and the moron don’t seem to do any show prep then is sounding more like. F&M ver2.0
-
Patri0ts3Best podcast everWith dough made fresh in Waltham mass you can always enjoy a nice patriots talk podcast whenever you feel the need. In all seriousness I listen to your podcast every day. When I have already listened to your knew episodes I listen to your old pods. I learn lots of info and it’s fun and makes me laugh. Keep up the good work and keep producing great pods. Thank you reviewer #3!!!Brady Statue suggestionAt the end of the drive to a field goal to win the 2001 Super Bowl, Tom Brady genuflects for a moment holding up the game ball following a QB spike to stop the clock. That should be Brady’s statue. It shows his reverence even love for the game raising the game ball above himself. You can even angle it so that his forearm is vertical and position of the ball perfectly mimic the Lombardi trophy.

JDR141414Top Tier Pats PodOne of the few upper echelon Pats pods. Tom, Phil, Matt and guests provide thoughtful takes with some personality mixed in. Listening to them is a relief compared to the rest of Boston media. They are proof that actually knowing football and the Patriots actually does exist in media around Boston. That being said, the legend Tom Curran needs to cool it with his Belichick tirades. We can get that all day everyday on the stations to not be named. I appreciate you most for being the adult in the room, stop sitting at the Felger … I mean kids’ table. See what I did there.

Mike_B1119RPO/Gap Run Increase?Hey guys, just wondering what you saw from the patriots offense on Thursday. It seemed to me like there was many more RPOs and gap runs but i could be wrong… hopefully this continues because mac seemed much more comfortable in that scheme that they were running, thanks!
-
chris gleafSolid all year!Best all around Pats Pod. Pete Kendall was great and I thought he was one of the better guests you've had!!
-
AZRoboGreat Patriots news resourceIn my opinion, the top two resources of Patriots reporting and perspective are Mike Reiss and Tom E Curran, and Tom doesn't disappoint here. As an out-of-market Pats fan I can't watch Quick Slants anymore, but this podcast helps make up for it.
-
loveit!!?!?!?Best Pats shows around!Love this show! Episode with Jeff Howe was very special to me as it came out around the one year anniversary of me being cancer free. Hearing his story and his struggle and being able to relate to that helps more than you know! #thyroidcancersurvivors

Veggiemom12Enjoy the football talk. Very, very, very tired of Brady obsession.Really enjoy when these guys talk about football. I tremendously respect and appreciate what Brady has done, but the nonstop Brady obsession and booty smooching by TC has me wanting to ride this podcast out for a while, which is sad, since in general it’s been very strong.
-
Balfour TrendersonTB12 comprisedCurran is entertaining and Phil is very informative but Curran is 100% Tom Brady compromised due to personal relationships and his coverage on Belichick and still Brady is totally influenced by it. No longer a credible Patriots journalist.
-
StoneCold20Excellent Pats InfoThis pod is in my regular rotation. Curran and Perry provide excellent inside info in an entertaining way.

Patsfan in Raider countryGreat podI’m a 15 year transplant from Cape Cod to Las Vegas. Everybody hates New England. I kind of like it...I need my Tuesday-Thursday info for the weekend and Tom E Curran gives this Pats fan his fix....you don’t need to listen to anything more except maybe the game 🏈🏈🏈🏈🇺🇸keep the Senator!!
-
ADE404Why hate?I’m just about sick of your hate for Cam. I use to listen all the time, now 3 mins into podcasts, I delete it. STOP being so biased. State the fact and leave your own personal feelings aside. Is that so hard?
-
KarenO 🏈Always informative with a sprinkle of entertainment 🏈Favorite Pod! 🏈

Billy CrossenCam NewtonIt seems like it hurts your heart so much to say good things about Cam Newton without saying something bad 15 seconds later. I get he might not be your favorite guy but he’s the best you got.
-
tjcourchaineGreat Patriots PodcastThe show is informative and funny. I could listen to these two all day. Pats nation Seoul!
-
Coreycondardo5 stars when Tom lets Phil talkLove the pod, but sometimes Tom’s blood sugar is low and he gets cranky and doesn’t let Phil talk. Phil is always prepared with outstanding information and takes, Tom provides the color - it’s a good combo, until Phil brings information and takes and Tom just talks over him then says he’s hungry. Get Tom a snickers!
-
