I discovered the show flipping through radio while doing some work in NOVA. I didn’t even like Commanders or redskins at the time but every time listening the show I became a fan of team. This is better than Skip and Shannon or other famous shows hands down keep up the good work.

There are better ways in terms to get players money when cut or cheaper with younger players. Payments based on years accumulated, specific time with one team, probably 20 different ways. You give NFL Players guaranteed contracts, you are looking at an NBA level of physical sacrifice, which has hurt the league domestically. The reason people like the NFL is the physicality and absolute physical sacrifice. The league and the owners make enough money to substantially raise the level of injury insurance and post career payments.

I moved away from DC years ago but I tune in daily to get my fill of G&D. I can remember listening to their first show ~10 years ago and have listened to almost every show since. Thanks for guiding us through some dark and tough times. As a guy in his mid thirties the Skins/WFT/Manders have sucked most of my life, however the banter, bits, and real conversations have been a North Star for this troubled fan base. Absolutely love Grant and Danny. Born and raised in northern Virginia in 1987 DC sports radio has been a huge part of my live. Biggest Washington Football homer on planet earth, but also a realist. Grant and Danny have the best Skins talk. They shoot it straight and honest. Don’t sugar coat anything and give their honest opinions. Just discovered their podcast and so glad it is real cuts from their radio show. Moved from DC to Phoenix in 2019 and this gives me my Skins and all other Washington sports fix. Remember when Grant first landed the gig 6-7 years ago and he is hands down the best analyst on the Washington sports beat by far. Danny chimes in and his enthusiasm shows which I love. Great show guys, keep doing what you do 👊 George in Arlington (that was my call in name in DC when calling into Lavar and Dukes, never made it onto Grant and Danny as I could only call struck in traffic on my way out of city. Love that you guys are on prime spot now, so we’ll deserved.)

I just wanted to thank Danny for being front and center in regards to having that god awful name Commanders changed. To many of us life long fans, that name is insulting and chaning should be the number 1 priority of the Harris Group. Thank you for prioritizing and speaking so eloquently on this Danny! Unlike Grant who is way off in my humble opinion. The name matters. Anything but Commanders.

Grant and Danny, while great by themselves, are an entertaining duo on the air. They do in-depth analysis on all teams in DC, and expertly entertain and provide useful info. Ryan also is great to hear from. “Does Ryan know it?” is an all time great. Please include that segment in your show more often. Keep doing what you do guys.

Love G & D, been listening to them since day one and would give them more than 5 stars if I could. But I'm unsubscribing/unfollowing because of the change to push out individual segments plus in addition to the show. Having 9 podcasts from them in one day floods the subscription page way too much.

One thing I appreciate about this duo is that they are fans of all 4 of the major teams in town. As someone who is a Caps fan, I appreciate the attention they give to the team, while understanding that football must dominate the coverage. I feel like they balance things well.

Some days I’m team Grant and some days I’m team Danny…either way, I win! Always entertaining, lots of deep dives and good topics. I’ve been a listener since day one and I love the show in podcast format. I listen when I want and replay the parts that made me laugh in the car! Two of the best guys in radio, and Darus is proved to be a top notch producer. Highly recommend a listen if you’re a DC sports fan. Thank you!

Grant & Danny is by far the best show to listen to for all your DC Sports news, updates and more. Their chemistry is great and they’re funny too!

I hate Grants voice.

Good sports analysis, good banter, and good laughs, which makes for a great combination on a great show.

Grant and Danny were fine. Quite good at times. However since replacing Chad Dukes in the afternoon slot they stink on ice with an occasional interview from someone you’d actually like to hear from. The last episode I turned off after 5 minutes. Why? Danny’s over the top virtue signaling. He started out by telling everyone about his booster shot and then couldn’t wait to tell Montez Sweat I told you so. I’ve seen the ratings now. Get woke go broke. Stop replacing your actual entertaining programming with shills.

It’s ok sometimes, but seems worse after the move to afternoon drive. They seem like very nice guys and are knowledgeable, but just seem to stretch to much on bits snd trying to be funny. B Mitch and JP are killing it. Junkies are always classic

If they actually stuck to sports, and focused a lot more on D.C. Sports instead of trying to be funny and doing things like "Winning off the field", I would enjoy it much more. Danny is not exactly Chris Rock or Sinbad and I'm NOT tuning in for comedy anyways! I want my D.C. Sports fix! When I’m in the mood for comedy, I will go listen to real comedians who are much funnier than Grant and Danny. I'm afraid they will start to get away from the main reason we tune in, which is to hear about the Nats, WFT, Caps and Wiz and make the show too much about them.

Grant’s super knowledgeable and offers some solid takes. Danny has his moments, but often tries too hard to get his material over—he’s a standup too, so his takes tend to be very “fluffy”. I want to like the show, but it jumps around too much. I realize it’s the radio format, but there’s just a lot going on and as someone who listens to the pod exclusively, it’s frustrating to click on an hour to hear a specific WFT segment only to learn it’s more of a blurb sandwiched between a lengthy Caps interview and some shticky variety segment. Much prefer a more meaty, focused format.

G&D provide great insight and lots of laughs. Love listening to them every day Monday through Friday!

These two are the best mix of humor and insightful DC sports analysis. They’re also the only credible baseball authorities in DC radio.

I have enjoyed listening to Grant and Danny since 2014. Grant and Danny provide a no nonsense review of all sports. I am impressed about how much both of them know about sports. I also enjoy the guests they have on who are very informative.

Love this show and listen to all four hours every day. There seems to be some uploading issues recently, though. It used to be an occasional issue where some hours would cut off after a few mins, some hours weren’t uploaded at all, some hours would have sound issues (echo), but recently the issues seem to happen much more often. The biggest issue recently is they haven’t been uploading at a regular time. It used to be that the hour was posted about an hour after it aired, but the last couple weeks/months it has taken until we’ll after noon for the first hour (10-11) to post and today it’s 3:30 and no hours have been uploaded yet. Frustrating! I like to listen at work – wish the uploading schedule was more regular.

Danny does a great job using his comedy background and sports fanaticism to make this show entertaining. Grant is not a good fit for a co-host. He is better fit for a sports stats personality. He tries to be funny, but horribly fails. Danny is the only reason I can make it two segments before having to stop listening.

Grant does a great job as a host and has some above average insights for a local radio guy. Danny is like a really low level Skip Bayless. He pushes the hackiest arguments and doesn’t really seem to have insight on any particular subject. A guy who talks and talks but ultimately says nothing. They also need to put some respect on Trent Williams name. For real. Guy has been a pillar of a trash organization for a decade, had his *life jeopardized* by their medical staff, and they act like he’s some undeserving malcontent.

When they talk Redskins they talk w/o any real knowledge. Just throw out over the top opinions that change daily as their mood changes. I love Redskins content. I listen to hours per week of it but I can’t listen to these guys.

The podcast for 2-25 hour 2 is messed up

Love the football talk, would love way less baseball and Hockey talk but I understand why they have too.. enjoy the personal segments. Only complaint is please get the podcast up quicker and more consistently.

Great show, Danny is a tremendous host, extremely knowledgeable, his die hard sports fanboy is extremely relatable to most listeners. Danny is extremely funny and has developed into a great radio personality. Great guests and they tackle the key issues across the DC sports world. Grant is very knowledgeable also, but lacks the charisma and humor that Danny has. He seems to mechanical and robotic like he spent so much time studying how to be a radio host that he mastered it but now just comes off as a machine. Grant asks great questions in interviews though.

Grant and Danny are insightful and funny. They discuss DC (and occasionally national sports) topics with guests. The listener phone calls are managed very well. What makes the show special is they’re not total homers. The analysis is strong. They do a great job of giving credit where it’s due, while forcing accountability. They call out those who need it. Unfortunately, they don’t get soccer at all but I still listen every day.
