Film scores are typically made for simple people who need a movie to tell them how to feel about a scene, so it’s no surprise the score is Biddlecomb’s favorite aspect of movies. This is the same guy who declared Tom Brady a washed up noodle arm in 2021, the year Brady lead the Bucs to a Super Bowl championship (7th ring for the GOAT). It’s a fun listen w/ consistent picks if episodes come out on time. The show relies on insight and predictions for upcoming games, so in classic sloppy pod fashion the boys released their 2024/25 NFL divisional round preview, regular season finale, and conference championship previews all at once on…. February 6th. Put a weekly pod out on a weekly basis and more folks will listen. If I come off harsh it’s because I know the boys can do better.

I started listening to Steve back in Highschool about 4 years ago, I used to work at a country club so I would constantly listen to comedy stations, i kind of discovered Steve in accident and after listening to breaking dad and man child i was looking all over the place to see if you did any other specials but couldn’t find any, and at the time being i was only like 15/16 so I couldn’t go to any shows being underage, I found this podcast trying to find more of your jokes but I’m glad I found this podcast, it’s very funny and informing. So I listen to this podcast while at work and just wanted to say that I love listening to you guys, Brenton, Emma, and Lucas. Just wanted to leave a review and say that Alex From Chicago Is listening 🤓

I just want more funny book talks

In the episode “The Dirt” which is over an hour and half that was suppose to cover the Motley Crue book, this known liar, spends 5 minutes on the actual show topic. Disrespectful.

I am someone who attempts to read, but never finds the time or sometimes enjoyment. Podcasts are usually too hard for me to keep up with, but every time I listen to this podcast I’m hooked!

This podcast started out strong. The first few episodes are really good but I started losing interest after I got like ten to fifteen episodes in. The first few are actually about the books, but then later on the episodes take forever to even get to the book. Sometimes they go straight to the book and just kind of gloss over it and talk about other stuff. I really enjoyed the book reviews, that's why I listened. I just got really bored and impatient when it literally takes about 45 minutes to get to the book. My favorite episode I listend to was the episode with the Danish. Red Rising sounded really cool so I read it and now I'm almost done with the second book in the series.

So happy you took Bert and Ari seriously -- such a good idea! Nice work Steve!

Stumbled on this podcast from listening to Berts podcast it was an older one but I just heard a few weeks ago. Your podcast is amazing. The podcast doesn't get me to read the book but that's not what it's about, I do plan to read heart of darkness and few others however; I did watch a miniseries because of this podcast (Five people you meet in heaven). Keep this thing going buddy!!!

After hearing Steve being somewhat trepidatious on Bertcast when they were thinking of the podcast, I didn't know what to expect going in. Was a big fan of the League and Steve but still wasn't sure. Steve blew expectations away after hearing a couple episodes. The conversations were insightful, enlightening, and beautifully meandering; its very refreshing. I also liked how the book selected wasn't the main topic of discussion but a touchpoint they went back to. The book served more as an underlying theme of the conversation. They don't reveal too much but give you just enough to want to go buy it and pick it up. I've been a amateur reader for most my life, and have been a wannabe big time reader for 5-6 years now. Steve and the podcast has inspired me to get over that hump and finally committ to reading books reguarly. And Steve's curiosity, openess and general vibe make this a very enjoyable podcast to get into. Thanks!

I am still laughing at how this awesome podcast was born out of a funny conversation caught in Bert Kreischer's podcast. Love Steve, love his humor, and love the conversations that happen between him and pretty much anyone.

I listened to the Bertcast this started on and thought it was a great idea right away and now it's come to fruition. Steve is a good host who's getting better and the guest so far have been overall pretty fun and once he builds and audience and has more to sell for bigger names to come on it will continue to get better!!
