Four children: Henry, Jess Violet and Bennie. They are living alone in a stranded boxcar. They find items they need from the dump and a stray dog whom they name Watch. Henry earns money by working for a man named Dr. McAllister and his mother, Mrs. McAllister.     I have read the series many times and I really like it but this is different but enjoyable so that is why I rate a four out of five.

    I agree with the writer who wrote the review different I agree Jess’s name is Jess and they do find something in the woods in the woods is some thing that is watching and they name him watch cause he’s a watchdog and also they remove a thorn from his foot foot

    I have read the boxcar children book series over and over again but this audio book has different words, sayings, lines and grandfather’s name. I put a two because it was ok to listen to but different.

    Jess is Jessie But I DO like it. Also the noise in the woods was a dog. They named their dog watch and he had a thorn in his foot.

    I mean it’s fine it’s not great but it’s not bad I listen to it but it’s just not good but not bad it’s fine I don’t really want to read it one star but I don’t want to read it five stars so we’ll see

    This is definitely, most assuredly, not I repeat not the boxcar children I do not know what story Is being read but this is not the story that my little boy loves to hear over and over again.
