I enjoyed these podcasts and subscribed to the premium membership quite a while ago but just canceled. There is rarely a new episode and I cannot make myself listen to "Talking Dateline". It's really bad.

So many repeated stories. It used to be fantastic.

I tried listening to it 3 times and I gave up. It is disjointed and makes no sense

The subscriber series are unfinished, “new episodes” are just replays of old ones or quick talks for follow up. Would be nice to have actual new full length episodes.

Lose it. More episodes please 🙏

Great content, as always. Discontinuing my premium subscription as a new full episode every other week isn’t worth the money.

It’s frustrating to have new episodes come out that are not new but repeat telling of stories you have already released. If it’s already been told, don’t release it as a new episode unless you’re adding more information to the story.

I always loved this episode and watch it every time it comes on TV so I was thrilled to see it on the podcast and was especially thrilled to get the latest updates. I have often wondered what happened to the family - they really seem to be such wonderful people. I’m glad they are doing well. Thank you covering this one!!

The year is 2024 and in a 43 minute podcast, 5 times they say “coming up”. Who are they paying to edit these podcasts? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Love the follow up discussions on crimes that have occurred. I’m a crime junkie from way back..influenced by mom who was a kid during the days of Al Capone! She was from the days when radio ruled the air so she listened, gasped & shared many a creepy crime (my mom’s version of ‘bed time stories’!) The who done-it,& how it unravels is so interesting. Love your moderators!! I listen to podcasts & also watch dateline on tv. Dateline has helped me to recognize & avoid scary situations! Go dateline!

I love Andrea’s direct journalistic approach. She doesn’t shy away from engaging in uncomfortable conversations with sociopaths, and I appreciate how you can detect her empathy when speaking with victims’ families and survivors. She doesn’t creat sensationalized content just for the views/listens.

What’s with all of the talking podcasts? I go to listen and they’re talking about an episode I haven’t heard, now I have to go look for it. No. Andrea Canning has the most annoying cadence to her voice, can’t listen anymore. I used to love this show.

I have been a long time listener of Dateline podcasts. I haven't listened in awhile and today i went on for first time in a few months to hear an advertisement for GCU… thats Grand Canyon University… a Christian University, embedded into the episode. This isn't Youtube where you can control ad content. While i have no problem with religious freedom, the active promotion of a university that is anti women's right (aka abortion/reproductive health) and LGBTQ right to marry is audacious and disappointing. In a time where ppl are actively being denied human rights to their bodily autonomy and right to love who they love, as we delve quickly into fascism, i find myself more frequently being aware of who and what i follow. If NBC is actively persuing this rhetoric, they will find that a very large proportion of their dateline listeners are LGBTQIA, not to mention WOMEN desiring the right to their own bodily choices. Good Luck.

Such a great show!!! But I hate talking dateline. So boring what’s the use… Please get rid of “TALKING DATELINE”. the title is actually funny. Yes, they talk and they talk it to death!

Love the show but find little value added from the Talking Datelines. So I'm waiting a week between full shows and paying for it. I'll take the commercials and save my money. How do I unsubscribe from the ad free edition?

I love this and it’s never enough

I paid for the upgraded subscription so I’d hoped to be able to have more content to listen to. Instead, it seems like there’s a new podcast barely every 10 days and then these talking points in between. Do those somehow count as an episode? I want to hear a new episode, not always the backstory and it would be nice if you had the two podcasts per week like you used to instead of having to go back and listen to old episodes from years before because you have no new content. What’s happening?

I love this show and I’m a total 5 star fan of Dateline, but Andrea Canning brings the whole series down with her condescending questions, obnoxious voice, and elementary level questions/responses. Her “interviewing” style is so distracting to me that I skip the episodes she’s in. It’s like nails on a chalkboard. I really hate that it has to be this way because she’s the only long standing female in the series. My motivation to finally write this review came from trying to push through this week’s episode but turning it off 15 minutes in because I just can’t with her.

This is my favorite podcast ever!!! It’s so interesting and keeps me interested for hours!

I used to subscribe, but I had to stop because I don’t like that every other episode is a “Talking Dateline”. I enjoy the shows that tell the story from beginning to end, but Talking Dateline is just endless blah blah blah. Now I just check in weekly to see if they have an episode I like.

So much repetitive content from previous years. There must be thousands of stories to tell; why so many reheated repeats?

This app was my go to while walking my dogs. I am not a fan of the Talking Dateline, and there are no new shows being loaded. I paid for the app to be commercial free, but will not renew because there are no new episodes.

Love Dateline and Talking Dateline. For those complaining about not liking Talking Dateline…..how about just don’t listen to it…scrolling past is really simple.

I love Dateline but there are Talking Dateline eps that don’t have the actual episode available. For example “Road Trip” has a Talking Dateline but no episode. Please fix and then I’ll change the rating, of course!
