Pow2clkUseful info. Annoying sound effectsThis remains a decent way to keep abreast of Utah’s frantic legislative session. It has some good interviews and is very even handed I don’t know what happened this year, but the inclusion of goofy sound effects throughout disrupts the tone and objectively offends the ear. They are too loud and add nothing to the otherwise perfectly straight laced reporting. Either make it a straightforward reporting show or make it a lively commentary with personality and silliness. I could enjoy either. As it is, I have skipped whole episodes because I couldn’t endure the stupid noises punctuating every third sentence

gratefulheart91Straightforward, succinct, digestible, and a little funStraightforward, succinct, digestible, and a little fun, too. Appreciate these bite-sized looks into current Utah conditions and issues.

TheBeguinerFunnest politics podcast in the West!I LOVE listening to Saige and Sean. They make Utah politics accessible, and (believe it or not) fun. The information is digestible and that’s a big plus. #LetSaigeSing

Bountiful!109Excellent PodcastThis is an excellent assessment and helpful guide to what is actually happening in the UT Legislature. I tried to listen to other podcasts like the right wing “Political As Heck,” and everybody has a passive/passive glottal stop that is unbearable to listen to.

TheyaskedforreviewsShort, okA good effort to cover a growing gargantuan, but unfortunately too little. I wish they would spend less time on interviews and more time on analysis of the policy implications of proposed/passed legislation.

TexanoRSNo better way to follow the Utah Legislature!I absolutely love listening to 45 days! Not only to I get the inside scoop about what’s going on in the Utah legislature, but Julia and Nicole are just a delight to listen to. Keep up the great work!

JkisShort, simple, SPOT ONThis is a great podcast for a weekly update helping me to stay current during the legislative session. They do a great job of touching on the big issues, briefly address some of the more peripheral issues and do so in 19 to 20 minutes allowing me to get a quick complete update. Worth the listen.
-
RobotLogicGreat podcastNicole and Julia are the best political reporters in Utah. Hands down.

swensen5Getting too Snarky to take SeriouslyI really enjoyed this podcast last legislative session, and have listened again this year because I want to follow what’s going on in the session and contact my representatives about it. But the hosts have a sort of tongue-in-cheek, mocking tone about everything this season that is really hard to take. As a woman I was excited to have two female hosts—I wish they would stick more to a serious journalistic approach instead of this we-are-so-above-it-all tone. Disappointing, as overall I love the idea of the podcast.

danielmartinkA MUCH NEEDED RESOURCE!45 Days is a much needed resource for a clear, non biased report on Utah Legislation! It’s hard to separate the legalese from the hype & 45 Days does such a great job distilling what’s happening on the Utah Hill & how it impacts Utahns & our family’s!

FruehdomDoing Utah a Great ServiceSo glad I found this podcast during the 2017 Utah legislative session. It can be a challenge to keep up with all the debate on bills being considered, so I've relied on 45 Days to keep me informed. The length is of each show is just right, long enough to provide thoughful commentary, but short enough that you can get caught up in one or two commutes. Please keep up the great work KUER, and if possible keep making shows after the session is finished!
