I realize I’ve missed years of weekly hysterics, but I find peace in the recognition that I now get to binge years’ worth of the most hilarious podcast in existence. Strider is a comedian of unparalleled wit, sharpness, and intelligence, all channeled through the personality of the chillest of all bros who we all want to hang out with on the reg. Thanks to his dedication to this pod, we get to hang with the legend every single week. I truly can’t express how happy I am about that. I’ve listened to pods for 7 years and never subscribed to one for more than a few weeks, but there’s no doubt I’ll remain subscribed to History is Dank for however long it runs, which I hope is for the rest of time. A mighty salute to you, Strider, for creating this perfect fusion of comedy and history in a way only you could do. Your work is a great offering to the scrolls of human history, and the gods shall forever smile upon ye.

This podcast is great and is a fun way to learn interesting things and events you don’t otherwise hear about. I’m fired up!!

I have listened to every Ep of this Podcast and only have one problem. Strider only releases one ep a week. This Podcast gives me the same feelings as playing Assassins Creed. It’s an enjoyable time and when it is over you unconsciously have become more knowledgeable and have expanded the brain. I look forward to Tuesday morning to turn it on the load speaker and watch my crew at work faces light up. I now rank Podcasts from 1-History is Dank. There couldn’t be a more perfect Podcast. I have used my knowledge from this pod many times from Impressing chicks at a party, to impressing chicks at the club, to impressing chicks at beach, to impressing my mom at Gettysburg with the Sickles knowledge. Joel's use of vivid verbal imagery transports the audience back in time to events that have shaped civilization and humanity as we know it while also weaving in heartwarming and (romantically) touching stories of his dank fiancée and the stylized furnishings of various apartment spaces (including his desk which is used for "personal growth" as his fiancée goes on runs). Truly a 5/5 podcast. Pssh, treat yo'self...and listen.

Absolutely fire podcast, not only historically accurate and stimulating but also chill. @Strider possible to add a monthly Greek Mythology sode? Or a segment at the end of a pod? Would love to hear you rip some straight up lore.

I really tried so hard to like this podcast but between pronunciation errors, inaccurate information, and the character type voice used I just can’t get into it. Seems like a good introduction to history podcast but definitely do your fact checking.
