    I miss ya’ll
Simply please, Come back!!! These conversations that I’ve had the privilege of listening to have been so insightful. I always tell my friends that every Black woman should be listening. Praying that it’s just a delay and that the Podcast is not done.

Where y’all get this baby from. She is amazing
Just listened to Young Jawnin. Aja this baby needs her own podcast, book deal, some platform. She is well informed and so open minded. Great job parenting her and I know she is teaching you so much. I love this

    I feel seen
This is hands-down one of the best things that have ever happened in my life. Many of the things I think of that have no one to talk to about come up on this show. Sometimes we have similar observations and sometimes I gain a brand new perspective or come across something I can think on. The topics resonate so deeply. I feel seen. I feel heard. And I love that we can still laugh and just enjoy being beautiful spirited black women and forget about the world that waits for us when this session is through. I love you ladies!!! And I know it is unrealistic to expect this show to go on forever but… I hope it never ends. Pass the torch when you’re over it or something but don’t let this show go away… like EVER!

So glad I found this podcast!
I can’t remember how I can across this podcast but, I am so glad I did. These ladies provide a safe space where I feel seen and validated and heard- too often a rare occurrence for black women. The topics are timely, poignant, insightful and sprinkled with just the right amount of love and humor. I learn something every time I tune in and there is something for everyone to learn ❤️

    Black people are not Monolithic
I love the podcast and topics BUT I really would love if you would stop generalizing black people. Stop saying things like black people don’t do this or that. We are not all the same. We do not all act, think, or value the same things. There is no parameter on blackness. Comments like that put black people in a box and makes me not want to identify as black at all.

    Passing Gems
Early mornings on the way to the gym/work or mid afternoon when I’m settling down for the day, I’m instantly turning on my favorite podcast ! With so much negativity surfing social media nowadays, it’s nice to hear some enlightenment from women of color with more experience than me . There’s so much I’ve learned from 2021 to now, just by listening .

    Where My Girls At?
I wake up every Wednesday morning looking for the notification showing the new episode of this podcast is released. I feel connected to each of these ladies in my own way…from loving Jill’s poetry and music and like her, also being a former English teacher, to appreciating the depth and richness of information Aja offers, and finally to actually learning that Layia and I both went to Naylor Road Private School in DC. I listen to every episode, many times more than once, and share many of them because I feel valued by these women and that they add value to me as well. I hope to be able to experience this podcast live one day. Perhaps I, too, can add value to return the favor.

I absolutely love this podcast. It feels like I’m a part of a conversation of real good girlfriends where the nuances of the world are talked about, truths are spoken, and being educated on various topics are taking place. This space is definitely needed!

    Feel it in my Soul
This podcast is so enlightening, awakening and transforming. I resignate with most of the experiences and things you all talk about. If not me then somebody else close told to me and knowing and learning helps me understand them better. Jill!, Laiya and Aja. Thank you with Mad Love 🖤 Mali

    Love these ladies!! Wisdom!
Amazing and inspiring. They are so real. I started listening because I am familiar with Jill Scott’s music and was a big fan because of her vulnerability, poetry, musical prowess, and unapologetic sensuality. But so happy to find two more amazing people in Laiya and Aja. Great discussions. Humor and depth in equal parts.

    Love hearing black women talk!!!
I just listened to the episode about fibroids!! I suffered in silence for years and ended up having surgery to have mine removed. Over the years k have spoken as this more to bring awareness, and the importance of advocating for yourself!! We have to keep talking about that topic as there are so many who are suffering in silence as I did. Thank you ladies ❤️

I just recently found this podcast and I’m loving it!
I like this podcast show because I feel like I’m having it taking part in the conversations I missed out on. Now for this episode, my issues is this: I’m tired of having to consider someone else’s plight when they are not considering mine. Black men deal with all manner of things, but so do black women. Why do we have to always be mindful of their situation while they ignore or even blame us for ours? That’s what I get stuck on. Even in an individual basis…
  • barvas25
    Fibroids
Thank you for speaking the truth on so many issue’s in this podcast. 80% of black women being affected by fibroid tumors has been an epidemic that has grown for at least 30 years! Women of color need a voice to raise awareness on the health disparities we suffer through! Keep up the good work!

    Relatable
There’s nothing more satisfying than listening to 3 down to earth sistas that are 100% relatable. To know that my inner, unspoken feelings are felt by others and I’m not alone is refreshing (especially hearing it from ladies with such celebrity status but come across as my girlfriends from around the way). This podcast helps me to refocus my thinking. Thank you ladies!

    Welcome back to the party!
I am a huge fan of all the women on this show. I am so happy they’re back for another season because the first season was my therapy. As a 30-something black woman, I appreciate the power and lessons learned from black women who have lived and are still learning (I wouldn’t dare say auntie 😂). THANK YOU! Welcome back!
