Could be 5 stars if not for the lies
“Updated Biweekly” The biggest lie ever told to the American people.

    Outdated Advise
Kamel is simply a parrot echoing the out dated advise of Dave. Go listen to the money guys and/or Ramit Sethi for valuable financial advise, you’ll be WAY more better off.

    Very Informative
This podcast is very informative. It really made me sit back and think about what was actually going on. Sure wish they would release more episodes. Nothing new in a long time.

    Good pod
Good podcast, but curious why an episode hasn’t been released in a year. It sounded like it was going to be a recurring thing.

    George is gold!
George’s quirky witty personality is what makes anything he does fun to listen to. He’s humble and self deprecating but I love his nerdy research and info that’s actually helpful- thanks George! Ramsey needed you to add some fun to the mix and reach the younger crowd.
  • Vaughnsgirl
    George is awesome!
Let’s sum it up quickly- George is just awesome! I could leave it at that- but- always insightful, down to earth, informative, easy listening. Just 100% awesome! Keep up the good work and thank you for what you do.

    Loved fine print
Hey George, when are you doing fine print podcast again. I loved the show. I am dedicated Dave Ramsey follower and like your presence there too. Please put more episodes on crypto stuff

    Best Ramsey Podcast
I love this podcast and it’s so nice to listen to driving to work at six in the morning. It makes the drive better!

    Garbage
Even if I agree with the premises he’s pushing it’s so over generalized and lacking nuance that it just falls flat. There are valid points to using credit as a tool but his tunnel vision of debt=tragedy just won’t even allow him to acknowledge it in order to convince me otherwise. Sad.

    Fresh voice on Ramsey concepts
This American Life meets Dave Ramsey. I love the pace and story telling. I also love George used Ramsey concepts and explains the story behind the why behind things like why you shouldn’t use credit cards, please make more episodes!

    Recent Listener
Well produced, incredibly and intentionally thought out with wonderful bridges and background sounds that are reminiscent of Children’s shows I remember learning from, in the best of ways. Super easy to listen to and wonderfully informative.

    Turned into a Ramsey ad
I listened to the Turbo Tax episode and it turned into an anti-credit card rant and an ad for yet another Ramsey product. I thought this would be an interesting and informative piece, but there’s an agenda here and that’s to sell more.

    Interest rate?
Regarding the inability to determine your credit score missed a key point I am interested in. How much higher are your manual underwriting interest rates, car insurance rates ect. I am curious if the higher rates dissolve the benefit of not having a score at all. Also, once you take out the manual underwriting loan do you not establish a line of credit, thereby a score? Otherwise 5 stars

    Excellent
Great content! Thank you. I hope you can keep digging deep and producing for all of us. We appreciate you all.

    High quality & entertaining
I really like the way this podcast takes more of a deep dive on various financial topics. I would like to hear a future episode about cash back sites like Rakuten, Coupon Cabin, etc. George is funny and easy to listen to, but he is also really smart and a clear communicator. I was happy to see that he is now a Ramsey personality, having worked his way up in the company all the way from intern. Great work, George & team! I am looking forward to season two.

    When are we getting more?!
Love this podcast. It answers all of the questions I often ask myself about what’s trending in the financial world. George is funny, thorough, and explains new concepts without coming across as patronizing. He appeals to young and old alike and brings another valued perspective to what’s turning out to be a very strong and well-rounded Ramsey team of personalities.
  • JeRmMaY
Broad, general statements made without facts.
Dave is fantastic, and the Ramsey brand props this show up even with him not on it. Don't waste your time.

    What a great podcast!

    To many agendas
Sad that the more you listen too the more you realize there are underlying Ramsey agendas. I feel they leave out one side and just present the other. Had great potential.
  • atliia
    Long to me Ramsey listener
I just finished listening to George’s episode about Bitcoin. I feel like there is a lot of bad or incorrect information presented here. The story Courtney presents is a story about day trading. Day trading is a poor investment technique without regard to the type of security being traded. Other asset classes are day traded. This is not exclusive to Bitcoin. There is no actual analysis of buy and hold investment. Day trading BTC is not comparable to a 401k investment. There is a lot of risk in Bitcoin, and other cryptos. I do not believe this podcast legitimately addresses Bitcoin principles Or risks. Bitcoin should not be mistaken for day trading.

    So much for personal responsibility
What a ridiculous premise for these episodes. •Guns don’t kill people •Fast food doesn’t make people fat •Vehicles don’t cause car crashes But, somehow, that credit card causes people to go into debt? This is just more parroting of the Dave Ramsey shtick. Maybe it’s good advise for some people, maybe it’s absolutely horrid advise for others. The problem is that these episodes are only presented one way, extremely slanted towards what the Ramsey group wants you to think - and buy. Love the shameless advert for Ramsey+ at the end, btw. Is that free? 👀 yeah, didn’t think so.
  • infaithus
    Thanks George!
I love all of your podcast! I’d like to see a podcast on the shoddy goods and services we are getting due to the pandemic and not having a lot of employees. From canned goods, (my canned tomatoes were actually tomato paste and the company blamed the machines) The high price of everything!
  • emmy124316
    Listened to the first episode….
Full of scare tactics with personal stories by people who are bad with money and don’t understand how to use a credit card like a debit card. Only spend what you have, and you won’t go into debt. Duh If you’re genuinely looking for help to get out of debt or be more financially stable, go elsewhere.

I’m big on podcasts, and I absolutely love this show! Listen to all the Ramsey personalities, but this show is my favorite. George does so much in depth relevant research, really interesting, and definitely made me put that credit card away. Keep up the good work, I’m always checking daily for the newest podcast, keep posting!!!

    Upbeat, Funny, Thorough, and Factual
I’ve enjoyed listening to the Fine Print Podcast. George Kamel is a great host. He makes things lively and enjoyable, and the information is practical and approachable for anyone. I would love to hear an episode that debunks the myth about debit card vs credit card safety and security features. Maybe that had already been touched on a bit, but I think this topic could explored more, and I certainly would benefit from it.

    Great podcast
I feel like George touches on a lot of topics that are relevant and relatable to our everyday. Great advice and appreciate the real life stories you share! Touched by the episode about Bankruptcy!

    George is awesome!
We love all the Ramsey products and personalities. George is an amazing addition, and my husband and I look forward to the fine print!

    Turbo tax
The latest about TurboTax was simply an anti-credit card rant with a Ramsey tax software ad. Been listening to Dave Ramsey for years, disappointed in the lack of actual content here. I’m pro Ramsey, but these episodes are just Ramsey Ads.
  • jtlancaster93
    Horrible podcast
The latest episode about crypto is the worst podcast yet, which isn’t saying much for this terrible season. It’s deceptive because of lack of data and research and is not up to standard.
  • Gtprewett
    Untruthful and anecdotal only
Uses poor anecdotes instead of research. Surprised to see the Ramsey name attached.
  • nejnraf
    You rock George

    Mixed Messages
While most of the financial advice seems sound, some of the messaging is skewed. Bringing on a Reagan economist to tell us that the pandemic wasn’t our fault, but we failed because we needed government help, and the government doesn’t help, seems like some right-wing-nut indoctrination. It’s disingenuous at best. Does redistribution of wealth decrease overall wealth? Yes, slightly. However, that wasn’t the purpose of the CARES Act. The purpose was to keep people home and help to prevent the spread of a deadly and highly contagious virus that was overwhelming our hospitals (so that more people were also dying from heart attacks and car accidents because there was no room at the ER) and wreaking havoc on our economy. Take the financial advice with a grain of salt with the knowledge that the point of this podcast is to sell products. And make your own judgements on the politics.

When you know the devil in the details. This is the podcast for you
    Love this podcast. Great information.

    Credit cards.
I heard the message loud and clear eval credit cards. That is true to a certain point but the underlying root to the problem was made by the last speaker. Nobody is excepting responsibility for there money and trying to show off…. There are 2 eval things here • Credit cards and there tricks to make money •Weak people NOT taking responsibility for THEIR choices and actions!!’
