KebeauxSo cringe. Unrelatable. Not “amazing”The amount of times I rolled my eyes is insane. The most useless podcast I’ve ever listened to.

NKP33480Jacey Duprie - So In AuthenticThis Pod guest is someone I have followed in IG for a long time and listening to this interview did not really line up with what seemed to have actually have happened with the end of the relationship. I was so surprised to hear how Jacey framed everything - it was all so inauthentic - it was so sad, listening to her share a really sad and seemingly traumatic part of her life and recounting it while smiling and laughing? the whole bit seemed sociopathic. I’m not sure where I go from here as I find the hosts a bit irresponsible for not digging in a bit and questioning the guest on this a bit more. A thumbs down for me…..

mojocapelliRepeatsHilary Duff episode was a total repeat from 2023. At least they could have mentioned it in comments that it was from archives. And no she is not 35, she is 37

VLS3116Too much main character energyThis show definitely provides great information but I am not sure why Emese’s picks/recommendations are never mentioned in the summary. What’s the point of having a co-host if you barely include them?

Kaitlyn KiciaGirls chatFeels like your friends with everyone on this podcast! Casual relatable style of interviews with interesting credible guests who span across various definitions of beauty. Love the recommendations that come from the podcast!
-
PlutopiccolinoInterruptionThe doctor was about to explain the 5 stages of grief when Molly interrupts to ask what an MRI looks like. Try to listen to your guest more and grow the interview around what he has to say , and the listener will be happier with your podcast. Secondly …. The word especially has an “s” not an “x” . Please don’t pronounce “expecially” 💕💕🥂🥂

DCA6457Challenge For MollyMolly, I challenge you to record an episode or an ad without mentioning lacrosse! Best, Fellow Lax Mom

B. LynNeeds ImprovementI enjoy this podcast. The majority of the items discussed are luxury and not for average women who also want to take care of themselves. I find this too exclusive. I don’t know how many listeners are shopping in the Hamptons? I do wonder what content is just being promoted for compensation of some sort. I think the level of consumption here is too high. Almost every episode is a shopping list. I get fatigued with constantly interrupting the guests. I want to HEAR what the Guests are saying. Your guests are very interesting and I enjoy the topic's.

Aly D FLove the podcast! And also want to suggest…Hi Emese and Molly, Firstly I love love love the podcast and have been an avid and devoted listener since day one! BOTH Emese and Molly bring so much value and have a lovely banter and friendship that is felt far and wide. Another reason for my outreach is because since day one I never understood why it’s called Lipstick on the Rim with Molly Sims? Okay yes people know her name. But Emese has a name too and a voice and a HUGE VALUE. If I may be honest it’s a huge miss and does cut and hit the wrong way every time I hear the announcement at the top of the episode. They both just won an award! I would highly highly suggest rebranding, putting Emese’s name and face in bright lights as well and carrying on with your incredible podcast. And given my background in comms, brand strategy, storytelling, etc I am happy to offer any expertise. 😊😘

Danib67Like not loveI like this podcast but the amount of products that are recommended is so huge and for the most part out of reach for the average listener, it makes me sad that so many of these beauty, health and wellness podcast promote products and treatments that are complete unattainable for the average listener who is not a celebrity in LA or NYC. A live how relaxed and easy to listen they are but Molly needs to stop interrupting and let the guests really own the space during the interview. I find the show a bit elitist at times.

KamNelsonRotating AdsEvery episode is an ad for “the product you need” it’s impossible to keep up with. Minor substance. Major infomercial vibes.
-
SoSadToLeaveSmall changesMolly, I adore you and respect the life you lead. Two small changes I would like you to consider: 1. Stop addressing the audience as “you guys” I would save that slang for off air. 2. Try to limit the products you promote. Some episodes sound like an infomercial. Keep going!! You have excellent energy, funny stories and your true friendship is evident! Xox

TT_1999_Great Show!Absolutely love this show and the information shared!!!

3125423763509Stop with Amazon!!I wish you guys would stop promoting Amazon with h every product There are other small businesses it's embarrassing to support Amazon !
-
jen9marGood beauty and fashion podcastI look forward to all of the information I get on this podcast weekly and generally do enjoy it, but one thing that is very consistent is Molly one-upping Emese and their guests. If someone says “I’ve had this for 5 years” Molly will cut them off and say “I’ve had mine for 7” or something like that and it happens all the time. It’s clear that she wants to always redirect the focus and make everything about her. It gets annoying but overall I like the content and I definitely spend more $$ because of these ladies:)
-
LalimiMUnbearable hostMolly is very annoying always taking over her guests. And the show is a giant advertisement ad! They just push you products after products. Don’t waste your time.
-
ABT03Love, but wish episodes would go back to more beauty and fashionLove this show and have listened the last year and a half. My only wish is that the episodes would go back to more beauty, fashion, and interviews with those in that space. The episodes have veered into a little more “wellness” and mental health with psychics, therapists, etc. which is great, but not the escape I come to the podcast for and love so much.

cant leave a revieWarning addictive podcastAbsolutely love your podcast. So fun to listen to you and such great recommendations. Went by Sephora as I was listening to the latest today! May have to curtail my listening or seek a beauty addict support group! Merry Christmas !💕

synchrogirl21OBSESSED 💄My latest obsession. My best friend and I’s texts are just an endless screenshot/link fest of Lipstick on the Rim episodes. I’m shocked at some of the reviews here. Ladies, this is a lighthearted FUN podcast on beauty + fashion. They don’t claim to be saving lives with this info and I LOVE that I can have a source for genuinely fun and cheeky convos (even if my wallet hurts for it). Love you ladies!

Growth Mindset MomOne giant product placementThe best episodes are the ones where Molly and Emese talk about things listeners can relate to. The episode about a mother’s intuition, and how Emese keep advocating for her daughter’s health was excellent. I also loved the episode with Dr. Aliabadi talking about PCOS. Otherwise, most of the time this is one giant product placement. Please, whoever writes Molly’s talking points, change it up. Every scripted ad begins with “And I have to say…” I find myself listening less because the content is so repetitive.

HarrietRaeLove you Molly & Emese!I’m so obsessed with all things beauty & wellness & you girls deliver that week after week!! Thank youuu! 🙏🥰💕

SoiréeHmmm..mostly out of touch with reality but seem like well meaning womenLadies- I listened to a few podcasts and was disheartened . While harmless , the subjects and guests are for such elite , out of touch and silly brains that I am disheartened that women want to take so much time to make this podcast or listen to this. Just can’t take it seriously. 5 minutes on one of these topics seems adequate for a healthy, happy woman who is into self care and care of others.
-
karpelzzzzEvery episode is a giant advertisementEach week they have new “favorites” that you “must buy”. This show is a giant advertisement. It’s frustrating that they don’t ever speak about what doesn’t work and isn’t worth your money. They appear to be money grabbing by promoting products they don’t genuinely use.

roxannaurdanetaMust listen to 💖💕✨I adore this podcast and recommend it to all of my friends. The only request I have is to please interview DVF and Olivia Palermo please 🙏🏻💖💕
-
Product linksLinks to suggested beauty productsCan you please add links to the products you are suggesting? I typically listen while I’m traveling (driving from client to client) and can’t write them down. This would be so amazing!

GiannaL12031993ShallowI have tried several episodes of this podcast as I have an interest in some of the topics and guests. However I just cannot get past Molly’s self-centeredness and shallow conversation. I understand this is light subject matter and should be easy content to consume but I really lose focus with how often Molly interrupts her guests and somehow always drives the conversation back to herself and drinking. She consistently seems to make every single point of conversation about herself. It’s just not good.
-
Theycallme_bFun and sweet! For the most part I love this podcast! Emese and Molly are so chic and hip. I love that they don’t dare keep! However lately I have found that Molly tends to interrupt a lot and talk about herself way too much. She tends to bring Everything back to herself, when we really want to hear more from the guest themselves. Happy to hear about Molly and Emese personally, but I think it’s better suited for solo episodes. :)
-
hwshuntsLet the guest speakThis pod has amazing guest & great topics, but the host almost never let the guest speak & consistently cut them off or talk over them. The Molly blunder episode they tried giving more recommendations than her which is annoying when we’re tuning in to listen to the expert. The episodes are often very out of touch talking about brands, products & places that are out of everyone’s budget. They target a very high end person. I love Rocky Barnes, but the places they casually talk about shopping at feel like their part of a club you’ll never be good enough to be in. If you have disposable income you’ll probably enjoy this podcast more.

podcaster 123Sometimes on, sometimes offI usually love the pod but sometimes it’s too vain for me. The Jennifer Fisher episode made me feel a bit ill, in that I turned it off and wrote this review. $1500 coat is a bargain? They ‘yes’d’ her to death. I love beauty and makeup but sometimes it’s too superficial, self-serving and icky for me. Bummer ladies.

DC in the NCGreat episode on Brain HealthThank you so much for sharing this knowledge. Soooo informative, inspiring and important.

tluciamdFemale MDs deserve Dr. tooAs a female physician, I was offended that they consistently referred to the male doctor as “Dr” but repeatedly called the female doctor by her first name. Be consistent and give the female doctor the respect she deserves, too. This may seem small, but women have to fight harder to get where they are in male-dominated fields. Women need to support women in all ways- even the ones you may consider insignificant.

LynnbirdieThank youWow! I just listened to the Mother’s gut instincts episode and this cannot be more true. I had a similar situation with my son in that I knew for over a year he had Type 1 diabetes and I would take him to his pediatrician - the first time she checked his glucose and it was a little high but she asked if he just ate and said “well that’s probably while it’s elevated.” The second time I took him it was also his 4 year well visit and he hadn’t grown and lost some weight - again I mentioned being concerned he had diabetes and mentioned the urinating a lot and drinking a lot. I was told since he’s so active and full of energy and it being summer and hot out that he was “probably drinking a lot from that and probably urinating a lot from the drinking…” Cut to months later he ended up in the hospital in DKA. I hate that I was right, but when you know you know! Trust your instincts and trust yourself and always get a second opinion. ❤️

ladybug0999257Hard NoThis was my first and last time I tuned in. After laughing at how nauseating and snobby Jennifer Fisher is I was so put off by the theme. Beauty is bought and a $1500 coat is inexpensive. What audience are they targeting? And they kept telling her how good she looked. Well she spent tens of thousands of dollars and changed her look. This is why women struggle with beauty … because a podcast like this glorifies an unattainable level of “beauty “. So disappointing.

Courtney.H.FLOVE LOVE LOVEMolly + Emese are so much fun to listen to and their guests have such great insight. OBSESSED with this podcast!
-
KJK17282722Molly….Molly please stop talking about yourself. Emese is so down to earth and great guests but when it’s all about molly and she won’t stop talking about herself it’s very difficult to keep listening to!
-
mia.bieryThe bestSuch an easy listen! Great content.
-
Courtney Ann 1989Love!I always learn something new regarding beauty, skin, health, wellness, etc. from this podcast. It’s a nice little escape on my Tuesday afternoon every week. Absolutely adore Molly & Emese too.
-
LadyCVancouverSuggestionsThe audio quality on this podcast is consistently poor. Maybe tech run throughs before recording could spot and alleviate problems. As a professional I was surprised the Lauren SD interview was even posted, it should have been scrapped and re-recorded later. As others have noted it’s often impossible to understand brand references and on Molly’s website the podcast pages only site the few product mentions that can be monitized.

Sllhb1977Best podcastLove love love this podcast! Never miss an episode!! Such amazing guests and beauty advice!!
-
Alaska_AllisonLove this!I’ve always thought Molly was so gorgeous on Las Vegas. And the first episode I listened to pulled me in! Her and her bestie Em are such a vibe! It makes you want to call your girlfriends and have a drink and put on a face mask while doing it! Helps me get motivated and keeps me entertained to get cleaning done around the house while also learning so much about beauty, health and being a mom honestly! Love this you guys are awesome and make me want friends like y’all! 👏😄
-

tiffany20457Sound was badPlease improve sound!! Especially episode with Laura SD was so muffled :(
-
MJIGLBLSDThe sound was very muffled

nntnycHorrible audio! Was so excited for LSD episode, but couldn’t get past the horrible audio. So disappointing. LSD rarely does podcasts and it was impossible to catch a few of her recs. I think effort was made to correct here and there, but it was inconsistent and really poor job was done. It completely took away from the convo.
-
swb200Love listening to Emese! She gives the best beauty suggestions, she takes her turn to talk and gives others the floor, and everything she says is intelligent, thoughtful and articulate.
-
NGG412Hooray for the fixed audio! Now that I can hear Molly and Emese clearly it’s great. I love hearing both of their insights on things and personalities and look forward to hearing more episodes in the future.
-
MegRo1982A MUSTSuch a refreshing and real take on beauty topics that I’m always curious about. These two are a must listen for staying in the know and always give me a good laugh as well!!
-
LostGuineverreTop tierI love this podcast! I have been listening for a while now and while other podcasts soon fall off my list, this one is consistently awesome and stands above the rest. It’s pretty amazing how great these two are at interviewing and keeping a good conversation going. If only I had a bestie like Molly or Emese. So posh and pretty, but also down-to-earth and relatable. True stars!
