Traveling this summerEnjoyed you podcastsI can’t believe how many new ideas I have heard from you. Thanks.

Tense RNFast talkerI wish she would slow down her talking. I can’t relax while listening because she makes me feel so tense with how fast she talks. I do love the show itself and the topics!

LarawaggGreat show, looong sponsor adsI love this show and the message it’s putting out into the world. It’s engaging and relevant to this stay at home schooling mama of four! I only wish the ads for sponsors weren’t so long. I will often hit the 30 second skip ahead three times and it’s still on the ad. Outside of that, I think this podcast is just tops!

SarahW.334Love this showI have been listening to this show for several years. I am also a Christian homemaker who homeschools, so I feel like the thing she says are right in alignment with what I need. One thing I appreciate a ton is how easy she tells me that cooking is. We also eat traditional foods in our family. I think I over-complicate things sometimes by wanting to have “perfect food”, but she doesn’t let perfect be the enemy of the good. I hear her in my head telling me how easy it is to make muffins and encourages me to just go in and make something. Thanks for your encouragement, Jami! Keep on keeping on!

Emotionally Healthy LegacyGreat show for Christian mamas!I’ve been enjoying this podcast, there’s such a great mix between practical and spiritual application in motherhood and homemaking. Thank you Jami so much for what you do! -Elizabeth

Random funny girlGreat content!I love Jami’s content - some is practical, some is theological…there’s a good variety. I like when Jason joins her and appreciate that he never talks down to Jami and they both share a lot of great ideas and info. (There’s another podcast I listen to where the host’s husband often joins her and it seems like he’s so dismissive and condescending…I can’t even listen to him anymore!) Keep up the good work!

Seh62894Good but may not be RelevantThere are definitely some good nuggets and the presentation style is good and not irritating. Her perspective is coming from a mom of young kids and that just naturally has a certain way of viewing things. She talks about doing things at night after the kids are in bed and homeschooling and having infants. I am a mom searching for that relevancy with staying at home and kids are teens. Staying up late into the night for emotions and boyfriend/girlfriend drama. She mentions not doing anything in the evenings to focus on being at home. That might be great for her family but most of us are absolutely over committed and want someone in the trenches with us to help navigate doing all these things and also having balance instead of just not doing it at all. Where you look at your schedule and your next day free of any sport is three months out 😬 have not been able to find that gem yet. So take this for what it may be. Someone who prioritizes staying at home all the time and not have kids do extra curricular activities might enjoy this. Most of us in the cycle of travel sports and juggling multiple drives a day might not.

HighAltitudeHomemakingSuch encouragement! This wonderful podcast encourages me and motivates me on a regular basis to life better and get closer to my Savior! Mixing the practical with the theological, it’s a wonderful balance. Definitely check this one out!
-
CainHoldingsWon’t cancel subscriptionThis company won’t cancel subscriptions and all email addresses bounce back. Very unprofessional. Disheartened that a ministry would act in such a manner. Hoping someone actually sees this since I am unable to contact any other way.
-
Kjcarrier4Amazing! Biblical and convictingI’ve just discovered Jami and her podcasts recently. I am thoroughly enjoying them! She is speaking to my mom-heart in this crazy world.

AllipettiA must listen to podcast for all womenThis is the first podcast I ever listened to, and I’ve been following Jami and her ministry for 8 years now. Jami offers solid biblical advice to help guide you through various aspects of motherhood, marriage, spiritual growth, and more. All of Jami’s podcast episodes are done through the lens of Scripture. I always look forward to the next episode!

-
Petra VenkmanChange of heartI was super judgmental about this podcast at first, but as I’ve continued listening I feel bad about that. A great deal of work is put into this show and it deserves the stars, not in a snarky way, but a genuine one.
-
DJsloveLove her insight! She is a Godly, humble woman and very open and honest. You'll find yourself enjoying sharing her wisdom, tips, and humor! She has clear pronunciation so that I can hear her easily even when my house is not silent.

JessamomSo thankful for this podcast! This podcast is my first one I started listening to and truly grew my appreciation on podcast. I am a mama of a 10 year old, 6 year old and 2 year old twins. Jamie inspires me, helps me think and I accomplish so much while listening to her podcast. There has been many days depression and laziness have taken over, I'll turn her on and before I know it my kitchen is clean. She makes me want to be a better mom. While diving deeper into God’s word and awesome books. Thanks Jami!

ACstormTROOPERExactly what I neededI’m a wife of nearly 4 years and a mom of a 3 year old little girl. I went to church as a kid, but haven’t really been a regular church goer throughout my early adult life. Finally one day I woke up and was beaten down and so discouraged by where I was in my homemaking, my mothering, my wifing, and my faith. I began searching for podcasts that were centered around the gospel in the home. I stumbled upon your podcast very quickly. I have gone all the way back to the beginning of your podcast and every time I choose to listen to an episode, it ends up being exactly what my soul needs in that moment. I thank God so much that He has led you to create this podcast. It is truly changing my life, and I appreciate you and your willingness to be vulnerable in front of so many every single week. I look forward to continuing listening to your past podcasts and making my way to the new ones. Thank you for all you do, Jami. Your sister in Christ, Allison Groves

Update no bueno!Amazing!Just found this podcast and can’t get enough! She is full of the biblical wisdom that I am so hungry for. It has already been such a blessing to me!
-
Milk&Honey PodcastHonest and RealWhat I love about Jami is she’s not presenting a highlight reel. You get the honest look at her life and walk away feeling like you just had a conversation with a friend with great advice.
-
revyfgYes!!!Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this! I appreciate it so much. I yelled at my daughter during a math lesson. And then searched for a devotional to help me deal. I found you, the episode where you shared being at home with baby 6 during COVID, and having yelled at your kids earlier. I thank you for sharing this, providing wisdom and putting things into perspective in a Godly way!! THANK YOU

meridazelEncouraging and Inspiring! This podcast has been a blessing to listen to! I wish I knew about it a couple years ago.
-
bobhopewasthebestVoiceI’m sorry but I can’t take the voice of the host. Her tone of voice sounds likes someone who is worrying like crazy and is hyped on caffeine. When she started talking about using herbs to detox, I decided to stop listening. This is faulty advice: there is no evidence that you can “detox” with anything other than your own kidneys.
-
aaalliehLove her!!!I am a young mom with 1 child and one on the way. I just started listening to Jami and LOVE her podcasts! She brings a great perspective and makes it feel like I’m just listening to advice from a church friend. So grateful I found this podcast.
-
teelee4433Love her more...Jami is open, honest and a total joy to listen to. Listening to past episodes (repeatedly- they’re that good!) have been a godsend. Truly time well spent.
-
ruckusandrubiesLove!Love this podcast! Jamie is very helpful and insightful. I’m so thankful for her encouraging podcast episodes. I appreciate the healthy standard she upholds and the encouragement she gives for us to do the same. She does it in a way that is not condemning. Of course, if truth steps on your toes maybe the Holy Spirit is speaking to your heart to make a change. All things are possible with God, and I appreciate The Balmets allowing God to use them to bless us!
-
Christina725Good and badThis podcast is helpful in some ways. I have found that recently though I feel guilty as a mom because of the way she talks sometimes. She tends to act like if you don’t use all natural products that you’re a bad person. I don’t need more mom guilt 😢 and I definitely have no interest in buying high priced products instead of normal things people buy for babies. I know she means well but it can be frustrating

GA837L.O.V.E.I have definitely become obsessed with podcast the last two years. Being married to an active-duty military member, I’m always in the market for an encouraging podcast that also has excellent resources. As a wife/homeschooling/homemaker; I personally spend countless hours, doing dishes, laundry and am in need of entertainment, that can fill me back up, and really encourage me to keep on keeping on. Jamie is a natural. She never misses the mark. Every podcast that I’ve listened to, I’ve learned something applicable, either about homemaking, or another encouraging and uplifting book or podcast to fill my tank, both emotionally and spiritually.
-
erikadltGreatJaime you are so great! You’re a born speaker, I LOVE your podcasts and so much good content.
-
kinsey_nurn19Life changingThis podcast has completely changed the way I view homemaking. I am SO thankful for this podcast and the change that has taken place in my life and our family’s lives, and our neighbor’s lives all for the better. So thankful for each and every one of these podcasts.

JP6210Like a comfy sweater for the soulJami is so sweet and such an inspiration to me. I cannot say enough good things about her and this podcast. Each episode warms my heart- it’s like meeting up for a cup of coffee with an old and dear friend. :)

BrinaMumUsed to be great, now it’s too commercialized and repetitiveThis used to be my favorite podcast - biblically centered and with lots of practical advice. However, lately it has become so commercialized that I lost interest. Two sponsors per show is great if the hosts are trying to make money out of the podcast, but not so great for the listener. The time has come to unsubscribe.

BrulitoAppreciate the biblically-based content but concerned about the medical contentAs a physician, I’m concerned when I hear Christians so easily believe “doctors” who attribute symptoms to hormone imbalances when they don’t measure hormone levels or don’t know how to interpret hormone levels. A level may be considered abnormal on the test result paper but it actually isn’t— and vice versa. Has she seen an endocrinologist— a doctor actually trained in hormones and glands? “Scientific studies” are mentioned but how many Christians know how to analyze these studies? Did you know that anyone can publish any “study” if you pay enough money? As a published physician, I get weekly solicitations from these “scientific” journals begging me to submit a study of mine— so they can make money off it, regardless of whether it’s a quality study or not. Please let’s be wise as God calls us to be- and not fooled by the world. We ought to not only be discerning with theology but in every area of life. Aside from this, though, I so appreciate the content that is indeed biblically based. Thank you for that! :)

Cavewoman6565Best Podcast EverI can’t say enough. Literally cannot day enough good things about your podcast. I have recently had the chance to quit my job and stay home and I was struggling with a way to get consistent about implementing habits I was happy with and I started listening to your podcast every morning and not it’s one of my favorite parts of my day. I have shared it with MANY of my close friends and now we all listen together and I am just so thankful.

Serena BashamUsed to be 5 stars. There has been a significant shift in this podcast. I loved this podcast, I looked forward to every episode. They were helpful and Gospel centered. The content just isn’t what it used to be. The content is now very repetitive and everything seems like a sales pitch. I’d never thought I’d be unsubscribing to this podcast after all this time, but the time has come for me to part ways. All the best.
-
JHPalaceI love this podcast!I learned so many things from this podcast. I just discovered it and am listening to several a week to get caught up to date. I enjoy immediately implementing biblical thinking and practical tips for the home. Thank you for taking the time to make this, Jami!
-
MamaCampof4Loved the old episodesI really do love this podcast. The early episodes really helped me get the systems and routines down that I needed to run my home. It taught me about hospitality and serving your family. Over the past few months, the content is not the same. It seems to be more of reading podcast than homemaking. Don't get me wrong, I greatly enjoy reading. It's just not what I expected to be hearing so much about in a homemaking podcast. I also feel like scripture is not used as frequently anymore. This podcast claims to be gospel-centered but talks very little about it now. When you do talk about a homemaking topic, it's an old episode you are replaying. I am saying this to be constructive and helpful. God bless, Jami.
