ClaibornesnowdenSolari, RelaxChris interrupts Graham 38 times an episode. Just wait until he finishes his thought. Good info, inconsistency in posting
-
ConfusedPeteDifficult to HearContent is top notch. Engineering, not so much.
-
Northville 90Wildly inconsistent in terms of release scheduleHead coach gets fired and that isn’t a driver to do a new pod? Couch needs to stick to the written word as he stammers through most points
-
Soartan in Western COMostly goodThis podcast is great, but was dynamite until Phil left. It definitely benefits a bit from having a mostly-dedicated moderator.
-
Kloppy57974Great Podcast for MSU InsightI have been listening for several years and really enjoy this podcast. I enjoy the insight that Phil, Chris, and Graham bring. It is nice to have an MSU centric podcast that brings objective takes from reporters with access to the players and coaches.

B. WormsMore Phil Friend! This is a fantastic podcast when they let Phil Friend speak!
-
Mr.Green-723Good show. Good analysis.Enjoy the show. Has solid analysis on Spartan sports. Only real complaint is that Phil Friend really should slow...down. Too often sounds like he’s racing to get his words out, leading to stumbling and even getting noticeably out of breath in the process. The others on the podcast don’t seem to be racing along in the discussions, so I don’t think it’s a matter of striving to adhere to time constraints. It unfortunately detracts from the positives of the show. Otherwise, good show. Go Green!
-
PotockiNGreat Podcast for Michigan State sports fansI enjoy listening to Spartan Speak. The guys do a great job covering topics of interest, and the preview prior to games amps up the excitement. Over the last few years the audio has improved, and no longer do I consider it an issue. Keep it up!
-
miller_benjaminaThe Freep App...but a podcastCouch really is the best writer covering MSU today, nearly moving into Rexrode-level coverage and writing. Solari is fine, certainly better than some of the junk coming from other columnists and reporters decidedly on one side of the Blue Wall. (Seriously Windsor, Wojo, why do you even pretend?) It is a solid summary of the current state of play in various Spartan Sports, depending on the season. Couch gets extra credit here for also including Hockey and other non-revenue sports. Nice to hear more depth on particular items referenced in columns, expands on different issues, etc. Would like to see updates more than once a week, but understand nobody is paying Graham and Chris (or the Phil) to do it. Appreciate that they do, recommend other Spartans listen as well.

@TheSpartanSlantThoughtful, insightful beat writersSolid. Listen to all of these. I'm a fellow Podcaster whose taken a few years off (@TheSpartanSlant), these guys do a great job, they have real access (unlike me), and they don't over sugar coat. Good takes, cover basketball and football, probably tends to lean more towards Football coverage. Overall, solid. Worth a subscription.

Hoopsmccann6A Global Hit for Spartan Nation in DubaiSpeaking on behalf of several Spartans abroad, we greatly appreciate the candid discussion of MSU sports. It's a welcome connection to home, but more importantly the off the cuff commentary is both revealing and presents a perspective not offered nearly enough through conventional media forms. Thanks for your great work, gentleman.
-

mrxsandyclawsBest MSU podcast but needs improvementSure the guys aren't your usual fun to listen to podcast comedians and the Michigan accent is perhaps cringeworthy but this is still the only Michigan State podcast worthy of subscribing to. Three things I hope to see in the future are: 1. Better audio quality 2. Regular 1 hour long shows 3. Guest appearances (izzo, holland, dantonio, green, magic, cousins, national sports commentators etc.) I like the show but it's far from perfect which is to be expected for a podcast only about a year old. My main complaint is the show is too heavy on "local" type coverage. These guys probably talk more about Western Michigan University, an irrelevant program, than threatening programs like Duke or Ohio State. I would rather hear full breakdowns of teams for upcoming games than I would like to hear about EMU, Central, WMU, and Lansing/Detroit stuff. A lot of the MSU audience is from Chicago area as well as the rest of the country and the local references and coverage really doesn't appeal in my opinion.
-
brookszaSubscribe and stay informed on MSU SportsGreat podcast to keep me up to date on all the news and analysis of Michigan State sports.
-
Lansing to Vegas5 stars without SolariGreat stuff by the guys that cover the programs the closest. Solari, however, rarely has an original/thought-provoking comment and when he does it gets disproven quickly by the other guys. But that was nice of Narduzzi to let him tag along for his Pitt piece.
-
Mike9991111Best MSU podcastThis is far and away the best MSU sports podcast around. Always has great analysis from guys who are deep into the program and can provide insights that others cannot. Plus the guys can be pretty funny sometimes.

SE MI SpartanGreat Podcast!!Very entertaining and informative!! The personalities mesh very well together which makes the podcast enjoyable to listen to. Look forward to it each week!!
-
cdottoAmateurishI’ll never understand why media companies put writers on air as personalities. They’re writers for a reason. Their voices are grating, Michigan accents embarrassing (particularly Kilbridge the host), and their awareness of their audience is non-existent. It’s like a recorded conversation of a couple ignorant geeks that no one likes, talking at a bar about football and basketball — sports they never played. And then they touch on the Lions, the Chicago Bears (?), and other irrelevant topics. Guys….it’s "Spartan Speak”….no one cares what you think of the Lions or the Bears. Stick to print.

nyspartyGreat insight!!I live out of state and rely on the Internet for my Spartan news and analysis. Being able to listen to the writers share their insight while laughing with each other is very entertaining. It's like sitting with my Spartan buddies having a cold one and talking football or basketball. GO GREEN!!

SpartanWozTremendous productionSpartan fans are plagued with airwaves that are filled with "Huge Opinions" and national syndicated programs that spew garbage and little insight. This is a show that is filled depth, insight from guys that reguarly interact with the program; with the intellect and experience to consistently convey their message without hype. The show covers a range of topics that die-hards to bandwagens can all appreciate. I personally look forward to monday afternoons where I can submerge myself in my favorite team from my favorite beats.
