This show is so funny and makes me happy when I am sad. The little songs they play during their show is so funny. :]

This show at one time was so funny. I’m not sure when it became a scripted show, but it lost all the goodness when it did. It’s obviously no longer real, it’s for entertainment purposes. I miss the old show… real entertainment. Stopped listening when it changed. Bring back the old please.

I can never get these to play. Tried online and the podcast- always just get an error message.

I’d say about 75% of the episodes sound like planned skits these days and it makes me feel stupid for even listening to the sad theater of it. I also hate these songs they sing, just tell us the story. I’ve been a devout listener for years and years but I’m starting to consider eye rolling

I love this show and that I can share it with my granddaughters. They are preteen and just crack up over these dating stories. Our favorite road trip pod cast.

This channel is extremely polite and very good at diffusing heated arguments. They make lighthearted jokes and respects the callers by asking if it’s okay to bring the other person on call and it’s totally up to them :) I also love they don’t choose sides or jump to conclusions. Highly recc this podcast to anyone interested in listening!!

My hubby came through my line at a department store. We talked, he asked for my phone number, I wouldn’t give it. He left, I just thought “I’m an idiot why didn’t I give him my number” he said he thought “this is too good to be true” came back through my line buying chocolate covered cherries, asked for my number again. I gave it to him. Long story short. 5 days later we were engaged, 6 months later we were married. We were married just short of 39 years when he passed away. Both of us agreed it was love at first sight.

The intro blows out your speakers then you have to turn it up to hear the voices

Wish they would talk about what happened at the end instead of just cutting it. Like a recap

I love the show I just wish there was a little more talking once the calls end, like a reflection of what they just heard.

And I love it! I skip through the ads since it’s so short but doesn’t stop me from listening!

Always a fun time listening

Maybe cut the episode before rude guy says he would remember her if she was pretty. That’s petty & a bad way to end the podcast. Seems like someone should edit that out.

I have listened to this podcast for many years. I don’t care if it is/isn’t fake. It was always entertaining and fun regardless. However no one cares about it so much to get 2+ min of ads in only a 5-6 min podcast. Ads are shoved in our face nonstop from the moment we wake up. This podcast was a nice relief from them. Trimming the fat & removing anything that is bombarding my day with trying to sell me useless crap. Having just one ad is reasonable, but your management got greedy.

…. And I listen to all the shows that do them. This is literally the only one I couldn’t stand and had to unfollow. It’s so fake and the scenarios are all so scripted and boring. Like how is this scripted for entertainment purposes and still boring?! Shouldn’t it be more interesting than other second date updates? 🤔 notice how none of them ever get a second date either. I would prefer if they had actual listeners call in.

How many ads can you fit into a 4 minute segment? There are too many ads. One or two is bad enough but there are 3 or 4.

I listen from Virginia and I love this podcast. Hawkeye tries to be fair to everyone and respectful of all the callers I’ve heard every podcast!

Callers are all part-time actors. Don’t get me wrong - love a good act - just not one that masquerades as a true story. All the callers in this show are actually referred to the hosts by a local talent agency. It’s an easy way for the actors to make a quick buck while expanding their talent portfolio, and the radio station gets to sell it as real-life drama. So, win-win.

So, I'm an AVID Hawkeye and Michelle listener on weekday mornings (LOVE them both)!! I try really hard to make sure I'm in the car by 8:15 so I don't miss the "second date update" segment (but of course that doesn't always happen, so I've had to miss a few). So when I found this Podcast, I was THRILLED - I couldn't wait to catch the ones I missed and to re-listen to the ones I enjoyed. BUT, after binging on this podcast and listening to SEVERAL in a row (for several days), I've now come to the conclusion that they're all fake. I'm sooooo heartbroken :( WHY, Hawkeye and Michelle, why??? Why can't we use real stories and situations???

The hosts are funny and not awkward like other hosts

I loved this podcast until i heard the one about the girl who found weed and then the guy asked for it back and she had thrown it away…it sounded super fake…and after listening to more alot of them sounded fake. FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE …fake.

Could Hawkeye stand to say anything else other than the script he goes with every single day. Also, god forbid you insert any opinions in the show. You guys literally just say “we’re getting off track here” like let them argue back and forth, that’s the entertaining part. This show is so PG

This is the best second date update .. hosts know how to get to the point and not just interested in hearing themselves tell inane jokes and engage in pointless chitchat.

Can you guys maybe sound a little, idk, less scripted? I’ve listened to other stations do this and sound a heck of a lot more natural/less scripted (even if it is).

I love second date update. I don’t get to hear it in the morning when y’all air it on the radio, so on the way home I binge listen to y’all a episodes! Makes the drive home so much better! Very entertaining!

I have been listening to 96.3 KSCS for about 10 years now and I have to say, this is the best segment they’ve ever had! Since my work schedule has changed, I’m not able to hear the podcast at the usual morning time, so it’s great that I can listen to it here. I seriously hope that Hawkeye continues this segment because it’s soooo entertaining and funny. I especially love Connected K’s input, as well. Jasmine was another great part of the show, but she left. :(

I think Hawkeye is super sweet, but he’s not entertaining. He’s very repetitious in the Second Date Update segment. It would be more interesting if the show brought some humor and constructive criticism and make the show longer. Connective K can go!

This is my favvvvorite feature on any radio station Hawkeye and Connected K do such a great job hosting these calls. I love hearing them live, but in case I miss a day, I love hearing the podcast! I would love to hear the call in comments as well in the podcast! I think it’s wonderful and I hope it never stops. Thank you for some great stories!

Why is there dance music in the background CONSTANTLY???!!!! Sooooooooo annoying. Get rid of it!!! Jeez, that alone makes me not want to subscribe anymore.
