Hosts are lame but the coverage is daily

The show is ok at best, it is way better without Greg! I can actually listen to it from time to time without Greg now. Jay takes are often lazy and common sense. He doesn’t off any real insight and is crazy repetitive. Mario is good to go. Keep up the good work Mario!

Great show. Was even better when Greg was there fulltime.

Needs a professional crew in front of the camera. PHNX had an excellent crew and should be template for CHGO. An excellent host, an experience hockey writer, and an experience hockey coach. What CHGO has now and before is not even close to what PHNX had for covering professional hockey.

Huge fan of the show. The balance of reality and fandom is perfect.

Great insight on the Hawks and great hockey knowledge. Always up to date news and reports and great conversations. Love listening to them

Great Blackhawks podcast

Gave this show a 1 star because of the firing of Greg. But he made it clear that bombing this show with negativity is doing more harm than good.

Laying off Greg was a bush league move. He’s one of the most real dudes in your entire network.

Bad. Loud wrong, disrespectful of listeners, dismiss alternate views, cluck for likes and five stars after calling listeners names, and oh did I say they are LOUD wrong a TON? They get access by being stooges for the team so don’t waste your time.

Jay is great and I’ve listened to him through multiple pod changes. Mario does a good job. Greg really hurts the pod. He loves to be negative and tries so hard to be witty or crack jokes. Doesn’t bring any hockey insight just mostly canned phrases he’s heard along the way. I really wish they would replace him because it’s getting harder and harder to listen to this. Also think it could be 30 mins. Usually a lot of filler.

As a life long hawks fan, moving from Chicago to Michigan, these guys are my main source of Blackhawks news to keep me “in the know”. Real life guys, who love hockey and care about real life too. Keep up the good work guys. Love it!! JB

Sometimes these guys have good insight but usually they are really repetitive and the takes are lukewarm/incorrect. Seems like what they suffer from most is that they put out 5 shows a week so in the off season or when game weeks are light the material is a little boring or repetitive. Leaving a 5 star review in hopes that they take some feedback to make improvements instead of bashing with a 1 star and offering nothing constructive. They do bring is great guests on topics that otherwise get swept under the rug by other outlets (NHL24 review show was great!). The game recap shows are solid too. That being said, I find they constantly contradict themselves between shows (Greg saying Reichel will lead the team in points even if they get Bedard, then walking it back when Reichel was playing badly) and always complain when outsiders/national writers don’t pick the hawks as the best in something. Gatekeeper Greg also says he wants more fans but then criticizes people who don’t share his opinions or who don’t chant the way he wants them to. Mario frustrates me when he gets going. He starts talking and never puts together a concise thought. He just rambles and pauses to say “…look…” or “far be it from me” to make it seem like his thought is unique or insightful and usually it’s something everyone already knows. I enjoy their fresh takes on hockey culture and how they seem to be pushing the sport in the right direction.

Jay is a normie and needs more air time

This crew is phenomenal. They know what they are talking about, break it down for anyone to understand, and keep me laughing!

This is by far the best podcast to get your Blackhawk information. They do a great job including history and current and with plenty of laughs.

I’ve been listening/watching since the show began and this is by far the best podcast devoted to the Blackhawks.

This is by far my favorite podcast as an avid hockey fan, and more importantly, a Chicago Blackhawks fan. Greg, Jay, and Mario offer some of the best insight in the business!

I’m a new hockey fan and this show has been perfect for me. New or old fan will love this show. My only suggestion would be a “Pudwack database” featuring who and why they’re pudwacks.

I’ve been a new listener all season as I picked up season tickets this year to watch Conor Bedard bring this team back to credibility and I have really loved my morning podcasts with these guys. Whether it’s a win by the Blackhawks or a tough loss or a terrible game, they are always entertaining and very informative. I love the interviews. They do with some of the players and the coach and I love how they break down the game and some of the play at the individual player level. I am already looking forward to next season and I will be come a CHGO DIE HARD!

CHGO Hawks is an amazing crew who provide a lot of different insight on the team while keeping the show fun. The entire team shares a ton of knowledge and certainly the best podcast around!

Love the podcast. Was specially impressed with the handling of the Corey Perry release, and the jagassery around the ill informed rumors. It’s easy for jerks to hide in their mommy's basement and run their mouths about other peoples troubles. The guys on the cast handled it with decorum and class.Well done, boys. The dork from ESPN who made the comment needs to be fired, publicly.

Love getting to listen to these guys several times a week. Definitely makes my day go by faster! I enjoy listening to all of their takes even if I may disagree with some of them. My only complaint is how long the ad reads are. I totally get doing an ad read for sponsorship and all, but I don’t like that the ad reads per “break” take 3+ minutes. Overall though, great podcast! Highly recommended!

The hosts’ knowledge and insight make this hands down THE best Blackhawks podcast PERIOD

It feels like a conversation with friends who are Hawks fanatics. Friends I don’t have. My favorite listen. I listen to the Score a whole bunch. I listen to CHGO Sox. I listen to Smartless and Conan. I look forward to this podcast more than any other. I’ve been listening to Jay forever. Love Greg’s sense of humor and Mario’s takes. Was heartbroken when Jay and James Neveau broke up. But, my god, you’ve won me over. Neveau is still missed but you guys are crushin’ it.

I listen to you on all my walks and really enjoy your knowledge,material and banter . I have been a die hard fan since my dad took me as a little girl to the Old Barn. I love when you say, stop the negativity be positive. I am the face of that. Keep up the good work. GO HAWKS‼️🚨

Overall some of the best Hawks coverage around. Always fair and level headed, but they are fans also and feel the same emotions us as fans do. Information, humor, opinions. 10/10

EDIT: Changed from a 3 star to a 1 star and unfollowed the show and all the hosts on Twitter. They start off the show and call me a pudwhack for giving actual constructive criticism. Stop begging for 5 star reviews. If you actually had a good show and people like you, they’ll give you 5 star reviews on their own. The show is great as far as getting information and staying up to date on Blackhawks news. It seems like there is a new episode every other day which is cool. One of the only downsides is that all 3 hosts have the same opinions on everything. There is no dissension between any of them. The sports shows that are the best are the ones that have great debates on hot topics.
