    Save your time
Maybe ‘only for dudes trying to be funny and act tough’ would be a better podcast title. I listened for martial arts information and left early when I realized women weren’t welcome as people and useful information was scant.

Love the show! It preps me mentally to keep training! A topic idea... training alone and it’s programming. I work crazy hours and attend my class twice a month. I can’t be the only one in this situation. Thanks Andrew in Kansas City

Excellent Source of Martial Knowledge and fun!
I found this podcast pretty early on (I think 3-4 casts in) and I have really come to enjoy! As a Martial Artist myself who began my journey almost 27 years ago, I LOVE listening to Sifu Richter and Mr. Madigan (I'm sure calling him "Mr." is uncomfortable to him, but that's the title we use in the academy I came up in/now teach) expound on not only Wing Chun and JKD, but a LOT of the philosophy of Chinese-Oriented Martial Arts. As a student of Do Vee Fut, I find SO much that they talk about help me make sense of my own Art. Also, not to be overlooked, the FRESHEST thing to me about these gentlemen is that there is little to no ego involved. As anyone who has been around the Arts as long as I have knows, that is RARE. Do yourself a favor--Listen. Subscribe. You won't regret it! -J. Flask

Enjoyable podcast, glad I found it!
I first heard of this podcast watching a ReFit Radio interview of Sifu Alex on YouTube. Saw the Dudes of Kung Fu links on the side and I downloaded all of the past podcasts. It's fun and informative listening to Sifu Alex and Big Sean.

    Keep it coming!
Found this channel because I was trying to find a podcast on Jeet Kune Do, but then ending up to the perfect martial art podcast for me. I've been training traditional martial arts (have a history of 4 years of Alan Lee Kung Fu Wu Su, 2 years of Leung Ting's Wing Tsun under EBMAS and 3 years of Moy Yat's Ving Tsun under Sifu Henry Moy Yee) and then shifted towards more modern martial arts such as Krav Maga dabbled a bit of Muay Thai, Judo, BJJ, Jeet Kune Do, and Filipino Martial Arts. Hard to find martial art practioner who have an understanding of both the traditional world and the more modern progressive approach. Sifu Sean is straight up honest, him telling the story how he got choked out and which made him realize he needs to add some grappling into his training curriculum or him having a trial student who was an ex-con telling him "I would grab you by your neck and start shanking you" and then taking that feedback and adapting to that reality, is very rare now a days. Sifu Alex's interpretation of Wing Tsun from his experience and point of view of traditional Wing Tsun to a more modern progressive Wing Tsun is very insightful. I have a Sihing who is now learning with Sifu Alex and all I hear is grea things. I really wish this podcast existed years ago, it would have saved me so much time, money, and grief knowing what I know now. Keep up the good work guys! -A.T.

    Dudes of Kung Fu
Fun and informative! A great listen for any martial artist interested in learning about JKD or Wing Chun without the sugar coating or bias.

Terrific podcast for Kung Fu enthusiasts!
Sifu Sean and Sifu Alex are both very knowledgeable yet humble and genuine, with a great sense of humor. I particularly appreciate the insightful discussions on how "traditional" martial arts can benefit from the methods and attitude of modern combat sports. BTW, Sifu Alex, it's been a few years since I had the privilege and pleasure of taking private lessons from you. On the only "Kung Fu related aspect" where I have a leg up on you: your Cantonese is almost perfect! Spoken like a local Hong Kong dude!

    The Dudes talk Kung Fu.
When I'm not practicing Wing Chun I am always looking for more information on it. This show gives me just that and more. Sean and Alex are two guys with years of training in their arts and always bring something to the table to really make you think about your training and how you can improve. The show is an hour a week full of little gems of knowledge. If you want to learn about Wing Chun or JKD and hear great disscusions about the theories and practices of these arts, then this is the show for you.
