VanesthesiaACCRAC saved me in anesthesia schoolI’m in CRNA school, and I have been listening to this podcast for the past 2.5 years. I’m planning on re-listening most of the episodes for board prepping in the next few months. I love the core concepts breakdown and board question strategies. Thank you for sharing your knowledge & expertise.

CassandSparkVery Informative & engaging!I am an RN, I somehow came across this series and really enjoy it. I appreciate the opportunity to stay current with the ever changing practices of anesthesia. The host does a great job balancing technical topics/information while keeping a friendly banter with the featured guests. Overall, an enjoyable listen!

Dylan8480Excellent anesthesiology reviewThis is the best anesthesiology review podcast I have yet to listen to. Stumbled upon it while searching for massive transfusion info and now I’m working my way through all the episodes, and loving it!

LoveLearningBKEpisode 242 The Rescue - AmazingI am not a doctor but appreciate the complexities of medical decisions. I also love thrilling outdoor adventures, especially ones that have a good outcome. This episode reflects the power and possibility of the human mind and ingenuity. Absolutely loved it. Dr. Richard “Harry” Harris is a wonderful person to listen to - great Aussie voice, brilliant analytical mind, and down to earth too, a person with solid values to ground him - a pretty great combination. Dr. Jed Wolpaw is an excellent host who asks the perfect questions to drive the story forward, and who of course also has the anesthesia expertise to get clarification on the decisions Dr. Harris made during the rescue. I highly recommend this episode and look forward to exploring other episodes in the series.

Tired of the divisionStay out of politicsThis would be a great podcast if you would just stay out of politics and stick to anesthesia topics! If you want to do politics, start another podcast just for that. I don't need to be preached at.
-

JohnnyRNWonderful for mid-career reviewI’ve been a fan of Dr. Wolpaws’ show for years. These concise and relevant reviews help me to retain all that knowledge that we spent so much time in school cramming in there.

el cubano ticoBeing woke is becoming boringEvery time I read un white señorito, sanctimoniously talking about white privilege and institutional racism, I wish them to be rosen in the land I was born: then they would know the true meaning of these words. Being “brown “ and belonging to a minority I never felt discriminated in this wonderful country, now my country too. My advice: stick to science y let the politicians do the politics: otherwise one day it may blow back.

-
mtnrclimbrLove itLove listening while on runs! Thanks for everything you do! Would love to see more oral board and board prep episodes. I think you could skip doing the “bad version” of an oral board now but still point out common mistakes and add pearls to giving great answers. Thanks again!

Are Ooow BeeDad JokesWe need more Dad jokes from Dr. Berman. Dad joke of the day? I’ve heard that laughter increases the pain threshold so we can all benefit, even our patients if we subject them to it.
-

billymbarlowMed Student Thanks youThank you Dr. Wolpaw for your podcast, being able to reach out to students, CRNAs, and Doctors has a larger impact than you might think. I see people in the break rooms having conversations on the latest podcast on how they see or change their practice. Your emphasis on patient care will lay in the subconscious of other practitioners just as your facts and tips emerge from their fount of knowledge as well. Keep up the good works and good spirits.
-
yataiwanStudying for ITE or BASIC?If so, make sure to check out the keyword episodes! The guests do a phenomenal job of prepping for this series b/c I can recall some variation of these topics on my exam (which makes sense since they are keyword-based). As of this post, there are 5 episodes: 122, 126, 132, 136, 139. Good luck to everyone!
