This makes me sad. I remember before the Knick’s podcast. I would like Real insights. The Tom tibedeu hatred is so unescersary and stop being deluisional. I know some people who don’t know any basketball did you bring them on. I don’t like the coaching hate because now he is gone. You happy. Stinks so MUCH

I love Locked On podcasts, but it's so important that the host/s match the team well... this is a ridiculous duo to represent the New York Knicks! Less analytics, more street sense. I hate to say it cause they are clearly nice guys.

Poor analysis using nba buzzwords to cover lack of insight. This pod should be hosted by fans …not these juvenile whiners. I’ve never heard such complaining about weak wins. If the team manages to win on a poor shooting night…that’s good! Many times the shooting is bad because of uncalled fouls, but these geniuses don’t see it. Other times it’s just bad bounces, and sometimes they just have a bad night. For them it’s always about too many minutes, but I’m old enough to remember a time when the best players played 40 minutes every night. I would love to listen to a good knicks locked on but every time I check in on these guys it makes me sad.

You can tell Alex and Gavin LOVE the Knicks and actually WATCH the games. Love it when they’re both on. The third guy who fills in every now and then is clearly just reading the box score but didn’t watch any of the game. Not a big Knicks but just an observation.

Jake is too repetitive and tries too hard to sound sports announcer-ish. Just be normal Jake, the other guys do and are just fine. We really don’t need to hear every stat three times in a row.

I like the hosts but the structure of the podcast is terrible. 3 min in until you get content and then commercials every few minutes. In a 30 min episode it’s nearly half commercials. I just can’t listen to it anymore.

Every once in a while I try this podcast to get a Knicks fix. They’re honestly just bad at it. They hate Thibs, hate RJ, hate Julius, and generally have takes that are stupid. Pretty much all they do well is tell us why Immanuel Quickley is the best player in the league and should be a max guy. The worst thing they do, is openly root for their guys to succeed and other guys on the team to stink. It’s honestly like they don’t care if the team does well if IQ doesn’t.

Not even a Knicks fan, but I’m always willing to listen to good basketball talk. As a Pacers fan, the Obi Toppin talk was informative. They also managed to talk about the Pacers without the tired joke that no one talks about the Pacers — that alone puts them 2 steps ahead.

If you hate the Knicks this is the pod for you. Hosts openly rooting for them to lose playoff games because their delusional hatred for the coach. Listened to them for a while but after the playoffs I am out, they come of as the dumbest/angriest fans you know after any loss, completely lack any nuance or balance. They also think their junior high basketball experience makes them tactical experts which is honestly just laughable.

You Alex is joined by Matthew Mianda of the Stickland , Posting toucing the Bleav Knicks Pod , and the Jacbiom Sports Show to break down the Knicks 145-135 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder at home Should be Knicks consistently awful 3-poiner defense spell the end fot Tom Thibodeau as head coach? Plus, breaking down breakout games for Cam Raddish and Imimanle Quickley.

Why is audio quality crackling and bad so regularly? Only podcast with this issue. On the content side, happy to have a Knicks focused pod, but would prefer less delusional Knicks optimism.

Maybe this is a slight exaggeration, as I also love Knicks film school. But these guys are super entertaining and full of inside basketball info about the Knicks and the nb . I’ve learned so much from them. About the draft. About strategy. About building a team. And at this point, I’m an addict of their show You like Knicks basketball, you will love these guys. Don’t know how they keep pumping out Intersting eps when the Knicks haven’t played a game in months but they do and kudos to them! And as for them doing too many commercials, heck, they do those well too. Convinced me to try built bars and now I’m addicted to them too! So thank you fellas, hope to make your acquaintance someday, you really do add so much to my basketball watching life!

Discovered these guys a few years back when I was sick of relying on sports talk radio for any semblance of intelligent Knicks discussion. While they are hopeful Knock fans they will still shoot it to you straight.

They brought this guy in to talk about the Knicks but he isn’t a fan. He goes by the numbers and doesn’t show any support or even attempt to see the bright side. It’s been a long road for the Knicks and their fan base. For Locked On to bring in someone that isn’t a Knicks fan, to talk everyday about them without any insight or history, drives me insane. I’ve been subscribed for a long time, I think now is the time for me to unsubscribe. Thanks

Too many commercials and I put the latest pod on and their talking about the Giants and Jets. If I wanted to listen to those teams pods I would search for them. Don’t ouch your other content on me.

The hosts have done a better job making the show more family friendly...not to sound prude but can’t listen to a podcast in the car with the family because some of the guests curse like drunken sailors, these guys sound smart I don’t see the need to say the F-bomb multiple times. If they want the episodes should bleep out the curses or put warning labels on them

The content is good, but you guys ramble on too long. You make a point and then run it into the ground, or you make too many points at once. After asking a question to a guest, you give your own long winded answer before giving your guest a chance to respond. That could be annoying.

Good content (mostly from Alex, Gavin less so) but the amount of ads is absolutely insane.... something like 30% of the podcast is a commercial. That being said, I’ve stopped listening to all other locked on pods because of the ridiculous amount of commercials, so that should say something about the quality of the content that I’m willing to put up with considering that Locke guy is yelling in my ear about some mortgage broker every 5 minutes.

Love the guy, big things in the future.

Great show host are likable and funny and give some good insight, but every 3-5 mins I feel like there’s a 3 min ad. If you can fast forward it it isn’t that bad but if you’re driving or doing something else it will get frustrating.

The ads are just too much! Just fast forward to about 2:30-3 to start. Then be ready to skip about 6 minutes worth of ads through the podcast. It’s pretty ridiculous. If this is how all locked on pods run it’s a bad look guys. Please do better. Move the ads to the end and if you must only disrupt the pod for 1 ad break.

I only listen to this show when I’m legit able to press fast forward at will. The ad time was bad and now with “live” reads has gotten even worse. It’s a shame Because I really like the hosts.

This was such an insightful listen. As an NBA fan that’s really trying to grasp the nuances of the game this was awesome. Blame Immanuel Quickley for my new found love for the Knicks. I can blame Benjy Ritholtz & Gavin Schall for my new found love in listing to @LockedOnKnicks 👏🏼

This pod is a fun way to keep up with the Knicks and the hosts are fun, but man...the entire thing feels like ones huge ad read. Not the fault of the hosts and most likely falls on the company but it legit feels like a 50/50 split between content/ads.

Love the podcast guys! I’m in Georgia, so i watch the games on League Pass and don’t have local coverage here. You guys help keep me informed.

This pod gets a star only because Alex does a good job but once Gavin starts talking you can walk away do errands come back and he’s still ranting this is not how you have a conversation and if your take is strictly analytics you’re voice is virtually useless!

They cover the Knicks which is good. Theyre robotic colorless millennials which is bad.

Plus he was redshirted and at Dayton 3 years not 2 get ur facts straight. Pls be knowledgeable when u talk. Highest character kid I’ve ever seen and is completely what any team should love to have. Decent podcast but way too many ads/commercials smh!

Good addition to the Knicks podcast lineup. Gavin is smart, prepared, knows hoops, has a fast but broadcast-trained voice. He’s not a homer, he is sharp-edged & shoots straight. Alex is slower, folksier, rambling, and far more of a fan/homer. (Alex often uses the words “whatever” and “stuff like that” or “all that stuff.” Gavin can sometimes zoom at breathless speed). Good duality.

Content is great overall but just irked at the fact that they advertise as a “daily podcast” when they clearly are not. Also, they sure know how to stretch content. I get that it’s a slow Knicks news cycle during this time but every episode you can expect the host to spend 2-3 minutes talking about what he’s going to talk about, 20 minutes talking about what he said he was going to talk about, and about 10 minutes of ads spread throughout the content of what he talks about.

The guys do good work and are knowledgeable, and I do generally enjoy a lot of conversations on here, but I feel we hear the same arguments over and over and it is constantly edited extremely poorly, you hear so many discussion about what segments they are doing and you can hear the first and second take of a part. Bis includes the last episode where there was a ten minute discussion of how to jump into the new segments since they had to split it up into two shows

Feels lifeless, audio quality is meh, most opinions are derived from stats causing me to struggle to stay awake throughout. If you’re looking to get any insight on the Knicks beyond hypothesis based on numbers, you’ve come to the wrong place. Basketball is a game of improv, and this podcast is a by the numbers, bland podcast.
