    PROVABLY factually incorrect…
…WAY, WAY to often. LISTENERS BEWARE: don’t leave any of these cases thinking you know the facts if all your information comes from this show. The slightest Google on many of these cases highlights just how much these people get FLAT OUT WRONG. Just—wrong. That’s pretty hard to forgive, considering how many people work on this show. I’m not going to listen anymore because it’s devolved into not much more than audio clickbait made of a rotten salad of factually provable MISINFORMATION.

    Please fix the mismatched titles
I prefer the podcast over the show because I can skip over the ads and the repetitive “coming up…”, but for the love of god, please fix the titles of the episodes. It can’t be that hard to make sure that the published name of the episode matches what the episode actually is. I thought it was an honest mistake at first, but there are probably dozens of mislabeled episodes.

People this is a TV show, STOP complaining.
One goggle search would show you what’s stated below.. research is free instead of complaining. The TV series Snapped is a documentary-style series that airs on Oxygen and has been on the air since 2004. Each episode focuses on a different woman who has committed murder or attempted murder, often her partner. The show features interviews with the victims' and accused's friends and family, law enforcement, and attorneys. The podcast Snapped: Women Who Murder is a podcast that features audio from episodes of the TV series. The podcast includes interviews with people impacted by the crimes, such as the victims' friends and family, and law enforcement personnel. The podcast aims to humanize the women and explore the reasons for their crimes.

    Matt and Angela Hester
As soon as I heard they were all polyamorous and lived off their kids SSDI, I ran to google to see how gross they looked. I was right. Ann did not deserve to be killed. When they interviewed her “partners” and the woman said “I thought she would be my wife and the 3 of us would be together forever.” I unintentionally just cracked up. 3 people can’t be married. 3 people are not a couple. Poor kids.

    Hmm
I’m not sure if the people complaining about the narrator or the music in the background and the “acting” realize that this is a tv show and they are just using the voices from the episodes. In the episode when the officers, family, friends and sometimes the actual killer name and relationship is shown. This is not just a podcast and most of the episodes, as said in the intro, these murders happened years ago.

    Same complaint
I have actually become slightly bored with these stories because you know who the guilty party is. Like EVERYONE ELSE says, please find something else to name these. I am curious, does anyone from the show read these reviews?
  • Missyislistening
    It’s a lot
The dramatization is a lot I’m not going to lie- would really rather just have it audio book style just tell me the story but without the million sounds and music-
  • Oldbutspecial
    Drama 101
Could be a good podcast but the reading of the script is drama class 101 - too much for the listener.

    The hate
Don’t listen to the pessimistic people in the reviews. Keep the name of the person as the title. It helps to understand who they are, if you are a true crime enthusiast you will want to do your own research on these people and the names as the titles helps you locate more information.

    Crazy
There is clearly one basic requirement to become a woman that kills… you have had to hit every single branch on your fall from the ugly tree. For the men out there, if your wife is unobjectively attractive you safe!
  • LuluBell456
I would love to like this show
The narration is so ridiculous, it’s like a parody of a crime show. It ruins the whole thing.

    My favorite
My favorite podcast! I’m tuned in faithfully, every week!
  • #NotCool
Remove Killer Name from Episode Headliner
I agree w/ everyone else.. remove the killer name as the headline of the episodes either make up a title or use the name(s) of the victim(s)
  • WhereIsMyMoneyBusyKid
    The narrator voice is intolerable
I wish they would get someone else to narrate. You can find these same stories on countless other podcasts. Do that!
  • MellyMelUK
    Ditto what they said!!
I'm in 100% agreement with the author of the review dated August 18, '24!!!! Please can you put the name of the deceased as the title instead of the killer, it ruins the suspense of who it could be! And the narrator sounds robotic!
  • TheBunnyCloud
    Good but needs more episodes
I love this podcast but it really needs more episodes, I had finished this podcast in 2 nights. I love the suspense thought especially Pamela Moss I love the suspense, but I would appreciate more episodes. Please add more episodes!

    Wrongful conviction
I surely hope Chrystal Weimer sues the socks off of y'all for airing her story after her exoneration. There is no journalistic integrity in this.

    Great show
I love this show. I don’t watch a lot of tv but I use to watch snapped so I love that it is now in podcast form. People in the reviews are complaining about the sound effects. Y’all do realize this is a tv show that was just also put into podcast form. The titles of the episodes are the titles of the tv episodes. They aren’t going to edit out sound effects or change the titles.

Background music should be just that- in the background
The stories are good. The narrator has a pleasing voice to listen to. But the dramatic background music is overwhelming! Turn it down. The background music should not be a costar in the episode.
  • JFi99
    Titles often mixed up
I’ve only just started listening to this podcast and have already come across three episodes where the title, description, show, and/or concluding status update don’t line up. Please double check before you post!
  • Briaunar
Ad volume is WAY too loud
Love the podcast but wow. I have to turn down my volume as soon as an ad plays. The volume difference between the episode and ads is terrible.

    Ten stars
    Thanks

One of the greatest podcasts IMO
One of my favorite true crime podcasts. I just wish they had more episodes, I catch up to recent ones too quickly lol Keep doing what you’re doing, the stories make my jaw drop from the twists. I try not to look at the name of the episodes, that way it’s a surprise on who the perpetrator is.
  • omgjshdhdb
    It’s good but
I enjoy this podcast but 1. I wish the name of the killer wasn’t in the title. It takes away the suspense and trying to figure out who did it. 2. The narrator for the Wendi Davidson was absolutely terrible. The fake accent was almost insulting. The narrator for all of the episodes sounds like computer animated voice. Annoying at times. Overall I enjoy it though!
  • Amyneyney
    Great podcast
One of my favorite podcasts! but please please fix the volume situation when the ads come on ! its soo loud almost lost my hearing lol
  • kyla62
Change the episode titles - huge spoiler alert!
Love the podcast, but I do everything in my power to not see the title, which is next to impossible, as it’s an immediate spoiler alert as to who dunnit. Takes all the suspense out of it. Consider not crediting the murderer and put the victims in the limelight and name them in the title.

    Narrated by an AI voice?
Tried this today and couldn’t get through a single episode. The narrator sounds like a computer. It’s very detached from the story.
  • drealovesyou_xo
    So may wrong titles
I really love this show and podcast, but 7 out of 10 times the episode is mislabeled. This is the 3rd time in 2 days

I look forward to new episodes !
Great podcast! My favorite podcast so far. I look forward to the new episodes every week.
  • Amazonprincess09
I love the show but this is a lazy effort podcast
The podcast is just audio directly form the show. It’s terrible. The sound for any police recording is garbled and if some isn’t speaking English there’s no translation. It’s so bad.
  • Kenzapiller
Can’t hear a lot of the audio clips
I like this show a lot and want to keep listening to it, but I can’t understand half of the audio clips, and even the transcript doesn’t pick some of them up, and they never explain or repeat what was said, even if it’s crucial information.
  • BelleDom
    Confusion
The episode title and description sometimes don’t match the audio/story presented. As someone else stated, the audio is inconsistent with Snapped presentation and commercials. Hope the production improves.
  • Yvette 08/17
    Glitch in podcast
Love the snapped podcast. Full of so much suspense. The only con is that sometimes the episode titles doesn’t match the actual episode. Maybe it’s a glitch. Maybe someone can look into that?
  • trayinsc
    Screaming commercials
Great podcasts…but I’m constantly having to turn the volume up and down. The commercials are way to loud I feel like they are screaming at me.
  • Srvinhim
    Great show
So glad it’s in podcast form!!!! Doesn’t get 5 stars though because commercials are SO loud but the actual show is turned down for some weird reason. I’m always having to adjust the volume.
  • Cinkip20
    Commercials are freakin loud!
Why are your commercials so loud….
  • missgeegee2020
    Sandra Jonas
The title of the episode was Sandra Jonas. The entire episode was about Lori Bembenek , except for the last few seconds. What happened? Edited: Theresa Alverez. Yet another episode that doesn’t match the titles. What is going on? Update: Theresa Ramirez Yet another episode with a title that doesn’t match the story. Why does this keep happening ?
  • Cassparagus
    Always incorrect titles
It would be great if you would stop repeating episodes and also labeling them wrong… love Snapped, but about to give up on the podcast version.
  • FirstAmendment
    Unlistenable
The music (if it can be even remotely be termed that) is overpowering, unnecessary, insufferable, insulting, assaulting, and the list has no end. What an attack and sheer assault on the nerves. It covers the narration, it’s maddening, and it’s infuriating. It’s a mixture of the most incongruous sounds. It sounds synthetic and machine made. Above all, it’s stupid, cheap, and adds nothing. This podcast is unlistenable.
  • n.oodle.head
    never the right episode!
It i disappointing that the episodes never match anymore. Even more frustrating that it is never fixed and it’s usually episodes that have already aired. So many people have brought this issue to your attention, when will something actually be done?
  • kmsalers
    Mismatched Descriptions
Normally I would rate 5 stars but…..I used to really enjoy the show but I’ve noticed more often lately that the titles do not match the actual episode that’s played. For example, this week the title is Teresa Ramirez but the episode that played was about Winn Reed. For such a popular show and podcast, you’d think they’d pay more attention to the details but its happening more and more. It’s really irritating that such a prominent show doesn’t check all the obvious final details before airing their episode. I love when the title fits the episode but I’m gonna need Snapped to do better! It’s the small things that count!
  • TiffanyW0904
    Theresa Ramirez
Newest episode sounded interesting and I have never heard it before. I still haven’t. Episode says Theresa Ramirez but it’s actually about the murder of Shane Moore. Which I have heard. The last paragraph is about Theresa and where she is currently serving her sentence.
  • TNT (I’m Dynomite)
    Theresa Ramirez
That was not the correct show under the title.
  • 67SRB
    Titles/descriptions don’t match episodes
I am not interested in all the episodes, but often when an episode description catches my eye, when I start listening to it it is a completely different episode.
  • OsukaJ
    Titles are wrong
They can’t even get the titles of the episodes right. This is the second time I’m noticing this just in the last month with wrong titles for their episodes. How lazy do you have to be to not even bother to check if you got the titles right? It’s bad enough that you recycle the old episodes from years ago instead of working for new ones and getting paid twice. And worse that the volume shoots up to 11 for the ads. Just find something else do to with your life.
  • Zumbie0807
    Another wrong episode r
Episode is labeled Theresa Ramirez but it is telling the story of the murder of Shane Patrick Moore by his niece Tucker Reed. This happens often with this podcast.
  • TereseNicole
    Ummm I really don’t know…
Many of the episodes (not the ads) are really low, so you have to turn the volume up really high. Not really an inconvenience until an ad comes on and it’s deafening. Also, I’ve noticed some of the episodes are mislabeled/titled incorrectly.
  • queenofvermont
Love the idea but not the execution
Audio quality is always so quiet. Episodes get repeated under wrong titles. One episode was mostly in Spanish with no voice over to let the rest of us know what the subtitles would have been, skipped the episode as I never got the full story of what happened since I can’t speak Spanish
  • McjMN1
Ad volume is deafening compared to the podcast
I like the show. I like how information is presented. What I find difficult is the volume of ads. Plus the woman on some of the talking ads is seriously hard to listen to. She sounds like she is slow like drunk or on Valium. Most of the ads are so repetitive that I almost had to stop listening. I do listen to others and then come back for a couple here and there. Anything more and the ad volume and obnoxious ad speakers get to me.
