Love the podcast and the content, been listening for years and recommend the app to numerous clubs and players. Would love to see Saul explore outside Europe’s academies, some great shows/examples could be. Japan/South Korea: so many young players are coming from these countries. Academies that are sending players to Europe at going ages but started development in their home country. USA: second youngest World Cup squad, all started at MLS Next/DA academies at some point before going to Europe. Clubs like FC Dallas have developed Westin McKennie (Juventus) Chris Richards (Crystal Palace) Ryan Reynolds (As Roma) Tanner Tessman (Venezia) Ricardo Pepe (Augsburg). New York Red Bull’s, Sporting KC, Philadelphia Union just as good: Tyler Adams (Leeds),Brendan Aaronson (Leeds), Paxton Aaronson (Frankfurt), Joe Scally (Borrussia Monchagladbach, Gianlucca Busio (Venezia), Taylor Booth (Bayern Munich)…. These are just a couple examples of the great job these academies are doing. Africa: Countries like Ivory Coast, Senegal and Cameroon have been sending players to Europe for years. How are they developing them so young in their home country? In conclusion would love to hear from other youth development leaders who are showing time and time again they are producing quality and raising the level of player in their country. Europe is taking notice clearly, let’s hear from them. Just a thought, Thank you.

A great resource for coaches. The podcast provides insight into how big clubs and academies operate from a development perspective. The app contains lots of drill, sessions and complete practices!

Very interesting listen. The guests on the show are Excellent. This is a very insightful podcast for any coach interested in youth development or looking for a better understanding how professional academy’s in the UK prepare their players for the adult game.

One of the best futbol / soccer podcast out there. Saul Isaksson-Hurst gets the best guest coaches on to speak to his listeners and they are some knowledgeable about the game it makes me a better coach just by listening to their ideas! Love this podcast, wish it came out more often! -Joe Wyland
