Simon Stephens is a warm and engaging host, and his glee for playwrighting and its practitioners is infectious. Looks like there are just three series. I hope it will come back soon.

This is one of my favorite podcasts I have ever listened to. I love getting insights into the creative processes of all these different writers. Simon is a fantastic interviewer and seems to set his guests at ease. I have discovered plays that I did not previously know existed. I am a director that works on new plays and these writers have dropped some gems that I bring into my own collaborations now. Can’t wait for season 3!

This podcast is a wonderfully entertaining and insightful show for theatre practitioners and writers of all sorts. It has also introduced me to some playwrights I wasn’t yet familiar with! Who wouldn’t want to listen to interviews led by the perfectly charming Simon Stephens?
