As an American I can’t tell you how ashamed I am of our country and administration right now. Your words are a good reminder on how to avoid this situation in Canada. Rest assured that MOST people in the United States do not like or respect what is going on right now. But, we did let it happen. It has got to stop and folks need to wake up to reality. Thank you for your wise words and keep up the good fight.

This was really good until she started her political rants. If you want to do that make a separate podcast or go to MSBNC. Those who come here to listen to true crime, last thing they want to listen to is far left political rants.

Well-researched, well-told, in-depth stories. The host is empathetic and points out how societal issues and crime intersect and especially how vulnerable populations are impacted by the criminal justice system, media, politics, and more. Much appreciated by this US listener.

Totally unnecessary and takes away from the true crime issues you are covering. It’s fine to use your platform, but make a separate episode for it. Tasteless to attach that to an actual crime.

Thank you so much for your message about the very dangerous situation happening in the US which will have lasting global impacts. I’ve always loved your podcast because the stories are reported in a clear, concise, engaging way, and it’s obvious that a lot of research and care goes into each episode. I’m now a huge fan of you personally for speaking up at a time when none of us can afford to be silent. As an American, I feel hopeless and helpless at times, but I know that I have to be an active part of the solution. Hearing from like-minded people here and abroad is comforting. I loved your MPs speech! I don’t even understand how we got here. I’m happy you speak your mind instead of trying to keep MAGA listeners happy. Due to their hating trans people and Mexicans more than they love freedom, they sent our country into free fall. Of course the blowhard in chief is blaming Biden and lying his ugly facd off. Whew, I’m done. MAGA you can go watch Fox “news” and let the billionaires take over. Please continue to be vocal about what’s right and wrong, whether it be about true crime or the actions of world leaders. If people don’t like your platform they don’t have to listen, but everything you said about the US and Canada was true. As an American, I support the message you are putting out and hope that you aren’t discouraged by some of the reviews saying to stay out of politics. Everything is affected by politics, and you have a huge following in many countries. it’s not your responsibility to use your platform to speak truth to power, but thank you for doing it ❤️

As an American citizen I cannot agree more with what Kristi said about Trump and the idiots that voted for him. America has never been great and now it’s a complete embarrassment.

Kristi, Canada’s Prime Minister is no angel, let’s be honest. But why did you have to make your podcast about Trump? Not necessary and I am really upset you did that.

Failed to realize that more than half her audience is American, and more than half of the country voted for Trump. Not a great idea to bash the country of half your audience, and likely 25% of your audience voted for Trump. Not big into politics, which is why I came here.

I listen to podcasts about true crime to listen to…wait for….true crime. Not to listen to your idiotic rants about my President. Your show was always a last resort when I had nothing else to listen to. Now you’re an “unfollow”.

Not enjoying the overly dramatic language

Adding on 2/27/25…Please know Kristi, I hate our Country turned MAGA. As a U.S. I’m ashamed of what our citizens did in November. I didn’t vote for this and over half the country didn’t. Unfortunately the people who wasted there vote by voting for a third party or those who didn’t vote at all allowed this orange goon and his freaky friend muskrat to take over our country and ruin it in less than a month. They will feel the pain - those who voted for him, but they are such cultish idolizing idiots that they will still say they love Trump. I don’t want Canada as a 51st state. I love Canada as our neighbor to the north. Thank you for denouncing this disgusting, power hungry, racist, misogynistic, dictator wanna-be, demented, stinky, orange creep. I love this podcast and I really love Kristi’s voice and professionalism!! She is perfect for podcast hosting, no matter the country of her origin, she does right by Canada.

This was never one of my favorites but I would still listen since it wasn’t too bad. However if it’s going to turn in to full on rants about America elected Trump I will stop listening. I didn’t vote for him but I also don’t want to listen to a rant for 5-10 mins about how bad America is for electing him. It had nothing to do with the case so what’s the point in the rant?

I use to love this post cast. Unfortunately it becomes a very slow paced story telling. Each case dragged at least two episodes (more than two hours) without more material.

My genre is True Crime. I don’t listen to your Podcast for your opinion on the United States and our president especially since you have a flake of Prime Minister. You’ve lost one supporter.

I’ve listened to your podcast for quite some now but will no longer be listening after you inserted yourself into American politics. You’re so off base and out of touch with the American people. You have just revealed yourself to be fake news— Donald Trump isn’t invading Canada— come on now, seriously?!? An “imaginary” border between Canada and USA? And that’s just a minute and a half into your unfounded rant. I just can’t believe anything you say anymore or support you.

This show is truly amazing. There are only three or four genuinely top tier true crime podcasts out there- including Casefile, and The Vanished- and this one has a similar feel to it, whilst also being a touch different. The cases she covers are also picked with purpose- you can tell. This is one of those podcasts where- if she chooses too- she says a lot by saying nothing at all. It’s that kind of masterpiece.

This is one of the best overall stories I’ve heard you cover (though they are all top notch)! I never mind waiting for episodes because I know they will be outstanding.
