This is a good podcast but it often includes unnecessary spoilers in the episode titles. It ruins the experience when I haven’t had a chance to watch the game yet, and I’d rather avoid finding out the results that way. I had no choice but to unfollow.

I always listen to the podcast when I have time. But it gets boring when you don’t have guests. You can rank up but you need guests

New CBA is a blessing in disguise as it limits teams ability to charge a Lakers tax and allows Rob to maneuver. Go figure.

Trevor talks about the Lakers with reservations as to not ruffle any feathers. But his take on the game is spot on.

After this season, Hunter is still owed $45 million over 2025-2026 and 2026-2027, so the Hawks would be getting off that money; that’s the incentive for them. Hey guys long time listener love the show but I was wondering not that Memphis has drafted Zach is there a chance we could go after Steven Adams as another option at center?

If a package of Rui, Gabe, JHS, DLo & Cam (opt ins) nets you Lavine/AC or Dejounte Murray/Kuz with the difference being 1 pick & maybe seconds for the former vs all 3 picks and likely pick swap for the latter. Which would you do? I understand concerns about Lavine contract but also consider the cap going up in coming years and also Lebrons eventual departure. In either situation, goal would be to move Reaves to 6th man, sign Drummond sized back up big and move Wood to backup 4. Lean into identity of size and athleticism, especially with Bron & AD with team USA this summer.

And that is the absolute laziest way to analyze a team’s performance. Just blame the coach. Because when a team is successful, it’s always easy to find the player most responsible (i.e. scores the most points), which is also lazy. Unfortunately, the majority of the media has gone this route, & it’s so frustrating to hear and/or read. If you don’t have the ability to be able to dissect a game, without taking the easy, lazy way out, do us all a favor & get out of the business. And by no means am I saying I’m the biggest Ham defender or fan, it just gets old to keep hearing & reading the same thing. He’s low hanging fruit because he’s a first time coach, which makes it that much easier for you not to do your jobs as writers & analysts. So you know you’ll get plenty of people to agree with lazy analysis.

If I wanted to listen to negativity I’d listen to the news. I get that you’re disappointed with the coach etc. but end of the day who wants to listen to negativity? This is supposed to be an escape podcast not doomsday end of the world cast. I quit listening to Anthony Irwin already… you were different now you are heading in the same direction. Sad. Literally sad

They put out new podcasts pretty much daily and I couldn’t recommend it more if you care about the purple and gold.

I’ve been listening since the beginning. Always professional and knowledgeable. Realistic and unbiased…..mostly. Great guys all around.

Trevor Lane is a very capable host. He provides no nonsense analysis and typically is able to give a perspective on all things Lakers that is helpful. ScorpioSky stands out as a guest analyst whereas many of the younger co-hosts still need more time to develop their own seasoned opinions that are actually insightful.

Have been listening to Trev and the team for many years now and they are hands down the best in the business! As a die hard Lakers fan I love listening to every show and look forward to the next podcast! They do an excellent job of breaking down games and providing great insight to the team and the players.
