JoyfulOne73Keep it Going, Truth’s Table! The Season 9 episodes verbalized what I have been struggling to say in these last few months. The list of things we can do to show up for this moment is- everything! There’s been a lot of good conversation about the need to address the chaos, but these episodes give a framework for things we can strategically do to resist without setting ourselves on fire. (IYKYK) Thank you for giving space and voice to Black Christian Women!

SeauxRealWelcome back ladies!Thank you ladies for being honest, thoughtful and hopeful. You expressed what I’ve been thinking & feeling.
-
Min. MargaretThank you!Thank you both for taking a Sabbath rest from the show. I miss it but the refreshing needed to move through the seasons of life we all will be facing you need this time. Thank you for the sacrifice you guys have made with family, friends and yourselves to inspire and encourage people who are never filled. Thank you for resetting by seeing what needs to be built up, discarded and developed in your lives. You ladies need time to grieve, rejoice, rest, connect and be free both alone and with loved ones. See you when you get back!

Pastor FeliciaTimely and not preachyIt took me a few days to listen, but I am so glad I did. Speaking about the end times and politics can feel so weighty and you all did just the opposite. This episode was so inviting, understandable, and not preachy in a way that it could have been. Thank you for this thoughtful and timely exploration of end times theology and it’s connection to our current political season.

Paul & PITASo glad I found y’all! This popped up as a selection and I am so glad I selected it! Listening to Black women navigate this world as a Christian is uplifting and powerful. Keep on keeping on!

Aharner83A balm in a weary landThe women of Truth’s Table have bolstered my faith in more ways than I’m sure I even recognize. I’ve been listening since 2017 and I continue to be edified, challenged, and encouraged. I am so thankful for what I have learned from the hosts as well as the guests they bring on. This podcast is a balm in a weary land.
-
Leah_89Expands my thinkingThese ladies expand my thinking and challenge engrained thought patterns. I’m grateful for the way they challenge me to think more biblically and more deeply.
-
vondrasviewTruth’s Table: ForgivenessThank you ladies for being such an inspiration! So I just finished reading the chapter on Forgiveness by Christina and lemme tell you, it’s exactly what I needed and what so many other Black Women should read as well! This book has me jotting down notes (loving the support with scriptural text) and getting a shift in my spirit. Well written, thank y’all. -vondrasview

athirkellAlways Fun and Informative to Sit at the TableDon’t miss the discussion of WandaVision. It’s full of insight and you don’t have to be a Marvel nerd to enjoy it. March 12 update - the episode on the Black Church with Dr. David Daniels and Dr. Vince Bantu blew away my misconceptions about the origins of the American Black Church and gave me so much to ponder. I’ll share the episode with friends.
-
GenaCassyGreat Food for thoughts at the TableI look forward to hearing the 3 cohosts address particular topics, always through the Christian lens and lifting up the black experience. I totally enjoy when there is a guest who explore vast amount of topics that affects the black and brown community. I pull up my chair and if there is only standing room, I force myself into the space to sit under the expertise and tutelage of these godly amazing women. Thanks fir a great listening experience every episode.

Delois PDelois P.I love this podcast!!! Thank you so much for this powerful episode. Very insightful and informative. I am the product of a fictive adoption and an adoption social worker, and I agree that the nuisances of adoption for black families is largely ignored. Everyone focuses only on interracial adoption . Black adoption is common, it just looks different. Thank you for this work.
-
SinginleisaHonest & vulnerable voices for our day!I have learned so much from these three delightful and generous hosts and their guests. I’m very thankful to be able to listen in to honest, vulnerable voices as I seek to learn more about and from the black and brown community. Thank you for teaching me!
-
ej.pdx13Love everything about itLove getting to be with my sistas at the table every week! You all bring so much joy and love while also bringing the truth that we need to hear.
-
Chai109Thank YouI cannot thank you ladies and gentlemen(the producers) for Truth’s Table. Being an African American Christian woman in this era of extreme nationalist white evangelical religion, masquerading as Christianity-these podcasts have been confirmation and a blessing to me. You ladies are fabulous and fierce as you tackle real life issues for African American women and quite frankly ALL people interested in TRUTH!! Thank you ladies and gentlemen!
-
talkboxdrumaThe Table is Spread!!!!So grateful for Truth's Table. As a black man living in America, I appreciate the Gospel focused, black-centered care and compassion this podcast brings. Being educated and enlightened by these Black women is a gift that I'm grateful for✊🏾. Michelle's passionate prophetic voice, mixed with Ekemini unapologetic, bright, authentic energy and Dr. Christina's culture shaking utterances make a dynamic table where everyone can partake. You'll eat real good at this table and you'll leave full of TRUTH!
-
Jas F.Love these ladiesThis is one of the best podcasts out there. Covering a range of topics and filtering it through a Christian context as well as through the black female experience it is a podcast like no other. I’m so thankful for these ladies voices and look forward to years of them blessing us

Birmingham LifeUnbiblical and racistListener beware! This podcast is filled with hatred, anger, racism, unbiblical truths and lies. These women have a powerful platform and listening ears aching for the truth. Instead of uniting sisters, of all ethnicities, to the powerful freedom in Jesus they preach a gospel of hate. If anyone of any other ethnicity preached about another ethnicity in the way they do it would be considered hate speech. My heart aches that these women are chained to hate when they could be freed to love through Jesus. They will always be the victim, preach entitlement, recreate false narratives to fit their agendas, mock abortion, preach white and black church instead of the church, create a false gospel, manipulate scripture to create division, ignore facts that would disprove their narrative and use words like nuance and justice to justify their hatred. I pray the spirit will guide these women back to Jesus. All you have to do is take their false narrative back to God’s word and it will not align. From Palestinian Jesus, reparations, being owed money, coveting, murder of babies, homosexual lifestyle, hatred for brothers and sisters in Christ, judging others hearts, racism, abortion, selfishness, lies, and name calling! Satan has a strong hold on these ladies and they are spreading his gospel of hate well. Stay away from these teachings! It will leave you spiritually sick and destructive in bringing unity.

BnhtrbhmbheahThe marriage episodeThis was beautiful! It nourished my soul to hear a man express such thoughtfulness and respect towards his wife and women in general! I’ve seen and experienced harmful prescriptive faith and gender-based legalism, and it grieves me in a way that I’m still working through. So hearing a man of faith clearly speak against it was encouraging and gives me *a little* hope. LoL. Thank you both for this insightful conversation!

cl88cl88Exactly What I NeedComing to this podcast late, and as a white man, listening to these ladies speak so much Truth makes me realize what I have recently been missing from my spiritual and justice thought and practice. It’s so clear that they are steeping themselves in everything that I need to be steeping myself in as well so it has been such a blessing to allow God to speak to me through their voices.
-
NatalieSM17Yes & AmenAs they say on the show, this is a podcast made by black women for black women. However, as a white woman, I am grateful to be standing in the hallway listening in, so to speak. I have learned so much, and I credit most of my desire and work to be an anti-racist to these women.
-
dalayna89Yes. Just yes.I’m going to start out by saying I was really struggling with my faith lately. All of the people who I grew up with in the church are so brainwashed into only thinking about themselves. The narrative never changed, and, honestly, I was seeing such hatred and ugliness in the body. So much denied racism. So much denied hypocrisy. I. Was. Over. It. I was completely ready to walk away from God. After all, if their way of thinking was really God’s way- I DIDN’T WANT IT. Then, a friend introduced me to this podcast. I cannot even begin to tell you how God used these women to help heal my heart, to find his TRUTH. I am so thankful for that. Also, growing up in predominantly white community, I didn’t get to learn from others perspectives. I’m thankful to be able to listen to others perspective, that I otherwise was never privy to.

Lil' KeeshBetter for itBe been listening to Truths Table for a couple years now, even geeked out when they did a live recording at a local church in Charlotte, NC. As a white follower of Jesus living in America I deeply appreciate this podcast by black women for black women because it gives me a space to listen & learn in ways I might not otherwise be privy to! I get to take what I hear on truths table and apply it in my life, ministry, and relationships with the chaotic world around me. It makes me a better friend to my BIPOC friends. It makes me a better and more complete follower of Jesus.
-
lca20PolarizationI so enjoyed the Polarization presentation, which aptly describes our country right now in so many ways. A big takeaway for me: am I more passionate about things that are not central to the Gospel than I am about the Gospel? Yes. And I repent. Thank you Dr Edmondson!
-
samanthagmthomasLoved interview with Kimberly WilliamsI go to the church that Kimberly leads, and it was so nice to hear more of her story! Great interview!
-
karalealoStart from the beginning! So grateful for these women. I am working hard to educate myself and to fight alongside the Black community and they are bringing so many things to light that I have been so blind to. They love Jesus and I love hearing them laugh together and speak some deep truths.
-
Kbizzle2010Thank you.As a white woman knowing how badly I need to become a better listener and supporter of my sisters of color - this podcast has been such an awesome opportunity for me to do that. Thank you for sharing your stories and letting me listen in. I consider it God's grace that I am able to hear these things & learn. These women are preaching the gospel in every episode.
-
chelsjean614Love this podcastI stopped listening to the podcast for a little bit but listened to the recent 5/16/20 episode and forgot how much I loved this podcast. Thanks for your work ladies. Appreciate the honesty and transparency.
-
Marilyn BlissGospel centered sistersThis podcast may not be primarily intended for white audiences...I’m taking that from an article from the Atlantic, but I’m white and I’m listening! It is so refreshing to hear my sisters in Christ shared a reformed gospel centered theology - truth than spans race and gender. How much more real does Jesus truth become when we see it reach beyond everything difference we have as human beings to unite us in the one truth of Jesus Christ. I’m so thankful for you ladies, keep talking to me :)
-
Able 2 produceSmart conversationI look forward to this podcast. My only complaint is the volume quality needs attention.

Bitter sweet funWhere were you all my American Immigrant Caribbean Transplant life!!Love this podcast!! Love you ladies and the fact that all discussions are scriptural based, truth telling and frank!! Love your honesty, openness(realness). Wish I had found this podcast from 2016 as could have saved me from some major aggravations. Happy to be plugged in and hopelessly addicted❤️👍🏽

dlmchicagoMust listenBrilliant, hilarious and so full of Jesus. Have just discovered and cannot get enough. Listening, listening, listening! Thank you for the standing room. When it felt like my faith was fading away you ladies entered in and have absolutely pierced my soul and pointed me back to Christ. Grateful.
-
ILSanfordEnneagram FreestyleSo I was really excited to listen to this podcast. It was extremely disrespectful from complaining about the small fee when you yourselves ask for support to being closed minded. There are lots of Christians who incorporate this in their lives and it’s a tool like anything else. If you really gave it the chance it deserved vs treating it as suspect and trying to take the place of Gods Holy Spirit which it has never been encouraged to do. Maybe you should educate yourself on it by reading the books that go along with it and the other Christian podcasts that treat it with respect as well as teach you how to use it in your life. If your not going to do something justice then don’t talk about it. You are also boldly representing the black community and my family and I couldn’t disagree with you more.
-
Josh_SaufleyThank you!Man. As a white male who grew up submerged and still surrounded by white evangelicalism, I need this ministry. The world around me is so quiet about justice. The education and action steps I need to know about as a Christian are provided to me through this podcast. I love that y’all @ the table love Jesus so much. It’s moving and encouraging that your relationship with Christ fuels your longing for justice and this ministry. This podcast is too real!! White Christians. We have work to do. Humble yourself, and listen to this podcast. #facts

juliana.abrahamJoyEach episode brings pure joy!! These women are so thoughtful, courageous and kind. I love the topics they discuss. Their voices are so needed in our world.
-
KarentheMHDThank you.I am thankful for these three wonderful women. This table isn’t intended for me as a white woman, but I am grateful for the opportunity to listen in and have my worldview filled in and broadened by listening to their voices. How will we see our own blind spots if we don’t listen to every voice and allow them to sharpen us? Thank you, Ekemini, Christina, and Michelle for doing just that.
-
ChrisR28Truths ShankEkemini, Michelle and Christina are wonderful. You can hear and feel their friendship and truth and passion. So brilliant and humble and powerful. So funny and witty and aware. Set the table with so much humanity and grace and warrior spirit. Please listen to these women. Enjoy them.

-
allibakes1024This podcast isn’t for me - and that’s the point. As a white woman, I understand and respect that this table is not built for me. Thank you for letting me listen in and allowing me standing room only space as you talk about so many important issues and perspectives. I have learned so much and I’m grateful for the opportunity to listen and learn and hopefully gain more understanding.
-
