I miss you guys still! I think you should come back and do the summer I turned pretty recaps. It's seems to have a lot of call backs to Dawsons creek and is getting compared like crazy these days. You guys are my favorite rewatch duo. Hopping for another one soon.

Update: I continued listening to this podcast and am now on season five. I am happy to say the podcasters go on to show Dawson some appreciation. This is a great podcast and I love listening to their banter and they always respond to fan criticism with the utmost kindness and take different viewpoints into consideration. Love listening to the podcast but as a fan since the show first aired - it is disappointing there is zero Dawson appreciation so far lol. Over all I love the recap though and am glad to have a podcast to listen to. I am on season two and hope you can maybe incorporate someone with a different opinion of Dawson in future episodes 😉

Hello I am a closeted Dawson’s Creek watcher… because of my obsession with this show in January of 2023 I did a quick podcast search and found a few ones to try. This is the podcast I was able to follow the best. I love the way Traci and Charles bring a whole new vision to my presumption of the characters and story line. I finished up this podcast in March 31, 2023 and I now feel compelled to write a review because this was amazing!

I discovered this podcast after watching Dawson’s Creek for the first time and realizing that I have no one to talk to about it. Traci and Charles break down the series so well and I honestly feel like I’m listening to my friends talk about our favorite show!! I also feel like I have so much in common with Traci and I wish I could just chat with them live…or hang out with them in Wilmington. Definitely would recommend for Dawson’s Creek fans! #poeyforever #truelove

The best thing about this show is the friendship between the cohosts. If you want the opinions of woke millennials about your favorite show, then this pod is for you! They are wrong about Dawson in the first 3 seasons, but that can be forgiven since they finally come around and understand him for who he truly is, flaws and all.

I’m late to listening to this podcast but I have been enjoying it so far. Unfortunately as of the Downtown Crossing episode the show may or may not have jumped the shark but the podcast definitely has. The constant negativity for characters and story lines is really frustrating to listen to. Traci informs Charles of what she thinks fans think about upcoming episodes and Charles automatically forms an opinion before seeing it. It just really seems like the hosts have lived very sheltered lives with probably very few relationships so they do not understand how relationships work. I’m two thirds of the way through the podcast and if it gets better by the end I will revise the review.

Dawson’s Creek has been my pandemic rewatch. I have spent the last two years watching the show and following along with the podcast as I go. Tonight I finally brought myself to watch the finale and in turn will be listening to the last few episodes of something that has brought me such comfort in this mess. I want to thank you both for the laughs and the conversations that took my mind of the world for a little while!

It’s okay. They tend to not understand that these kids are kids. They also don’t understand the meaning of mvp (most valuable player). They think it means who won the episode instead of most important character. They also give out misinformation. It’s usually okay to listen to. They play clips. Not sure if you’ll find a better Dawson’s podcast unfortunately

I was willing to look pass a lot of comments that reflect the podcasters’s privilege. But the comment on episode 105 hurricane that Gram’s comments towards an unborn child and their parents (black and white) were not racist (uttered by the male podcaster) blew my mind! Wow!

I discovered this podcast during a recent trip to Wilmington when I was searching google for Dawson’s Creek filming locations. I had not seen the show in over a decade but remembered it fondly and so decided to do a full rewatch and have been following along with this podcast. Traci and Charles are great hosts, they examine the characters and stories with a critical, humorous, entertaining spirit. Wish I had stumbled upon it when they were making it!

Really had fun for a minute but I struggled with the hosts’ privilege and their lack of perspective for characters that don’t match their own upbringing. There are great jokes involved but maybe the hosts don’t have the capacity for talking about some lower income circumstances. Their perspectives of storylines are often really interesting as long as those storylines are not about families or circumstances outside of a middle class norm. In my experience, they hit a lot of great points from their own perspective but not enough points from the queer or poor or addiction adjacent perspectives that I think are readily available and relevant to the show. I expected Dawson’s creek to let me down a bit but I didn’t expect it from y’all.

Traci and Charles lend a light-hearted but critical eye towards a seminal teen drama, Dawson’s Creek. They don’t take this show to seriously, but relate to and question the show in a way that doesn’t feel forced or performative. I would love to have a conversation with these two about Dawson’s Creek!

I started binging on Netflix in November and I just finished for the first time relatively spoiler free. This podcast is a great way to decompress since NONE of my friends have the slightest bit of interest in watching Dawson’s Creek. So yeah. It kind of feels like I joined Traci and Charles at the lunch table to talk about this show.

Started binging last month and it’s nice to listen along with the pod as you go. All those moments that make your head spin are validated on the podcast. The 90’s were so bizarre. It’s like watching with a bunch of friends. It’s also nice thar Charles hasn’t seen the show before.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I’m on season 6 and have enjoyed listening and watching Charles live all of the episodes for the first time. It’s been fun!

Started watching Dawson’s Creek on Netflix a few months, and I’ve loved listening to this podcast along the way! There is great dialogue and accurate recaps of each episode. Every time something happens in the show that ends up in me saying “Wait... WHAT?!” I’ve always got to listen to the podcast to know I wasn’t the only one feeling this way. 😂 I am a huge fan of the show and this podcast!

I’ve been enjoying this podcast! Having watched it when it originally aired (I was 20 when it started), I am amused hearing these two talk about the slang in the show. Some I remember being used back in the day, some I don’t. Traci’s voice at times reminds me of Kristen Schaal.

I absolutely love this podcast!!! I’m rewatching Dawson’s Creek with my husband who is watching episodes for the first time. It’s so fun rewatching the series that means so much to me and then listening to Traci and Charles’ take on everything. I only wish I would have found this podcast sooner when y’all were still recording! When I was a kid, I watched the whole series with my dad during the summer of 2003 when it was syndicated on TBS. we would talk about each episode afterwards and it taught me so much about life! The show is great on its own but I love the memories with my dad I have tied to it. One of the best summers of my life!

You guys are so much fun; I want to be your best friend!! But seriously, this is a lovely podcast about one of my absolute favorite shows. You should definitely do another one!

This podcast is great, made with care and the ideal accompaniment to re-watching the series! Traci and Charles have interesting perspectives and opinions, and their fun friend banter is very casual and lived-in. For better or for worse, I can now hear Charles’ mournful sighs in my head while I watch the more problematic scenes!

Enjoy the podcast. My one critique is the format seems too rigid to blindly read what they admit is inaccurate IMDB summaries, yet never adapt or quit using them. So that’s odd. But otherwise great insight and added clips really help make this show special. I binged a lot and caught up.

Love this podcast. As someone who doesn't listen to many podcasts and often can't focus on them, I was very surprised to find one that I wanted to listen to after finishing the first episode. Traci and Charles inspired me to watch through Dawson's Creek again, and have kept me laughing through seasons one and two. Can't wait to keep listening! Found these two just a few days ago, and rather than binging via Hulu, I'm "re-watching" via this podcast. Analysis is spot on, and I need a pal who cares enough about me to dissect my favorite teen drama for hours on end. I didn't realize how much I was missing in my life till I found this podcast duo. Started listening to this podcast a few months ago after rediscovering DC (I vaguely remember watching late episodes as a kid but it all went over my head). Charles and Traci keep things light, funny, and overall enjoyable to listen to. Can’t wait to hear Charles’ thoughts on the back half of Season 6! 😂

I really enjoy listening to these two weekly. DC is one of my favorite shows, but not too many people in my real life watch it, so podcasts where strangers talk about it will have to do.

I was a huge fan of Dawson’s Creek when it originally aired, and this show has been such a fun piece of nostalgia! They’ve also made me begrudgingly like Dawson, when I’ve spent decades hating him.

Traci and Charles bring a great perspective on this paradigm breaking show from the 90’s. I look forward to Monday’s when a new podcast drops. What makes this pod even better is that Charles is watching it for the 1st time and his predictions crack me up. These guys put a lot of research and time into these podcasts and it shows. It has been so much fun to rewatch my favorite show from the 90s alongside Charles and Traci! Compared to other DC podcasts, I really enjoy the format of this one and how thorough Charles and Traci are. The cover every episode in great detail while giving their own hilarious twist on certain scenes/plot lines. I’ll definitely be listening until the end!

I’ve watched the entire series of Dawson’s creek multiple times and it is very near and dear to my heart. Every few years I revisit it, and always wished I had a friend to discuss the show with, but no one else gets it! So happy to have found this show!!! Reliving the episodes I’ve seen so many times with such great commentary from Traci and Charles truly brightens my day! Thank you so much for doing this podcast!! EDIT: soooo I’m now on season 4 and I love it. Traci and Charles have become a lot more objective and it’s great to hear how deep they delve into analyzing the episodes. I am now changing my rating to a 5/5. I wrote my previous review at the beginning of season 2 but they’ve come along way and now I’m a huge fan! Keep it up guys 😊 Very biased with their Dawson’s hate. Also it’s hard as a super fan when Tracy gets some things wrong about the actors at the time as a super fan. Also I feel like she is not really great about spoilers. Lastly I wish they obviously weren’t so biased about Dawson. He is a frustrating character but it’s annoying how there’s seems to be a lack of objectivity with critiquing the characters who are their faves. I also feel as though at times Tracy tries to steer Charles to her POV. I actually like this podcast though. I’ve just noticed a pattern while listening and at times it makes it hard to listen. I gave it 3 stars but I’d give it 3.5/5 if I could. I’m hoping it gets better since I’m only in season two!

I’m so happy we live in a world with Dawson’s Creek podcasts. Tragically, none of my nearly 30 year old friends want to obsessively talk about Dawson’s Creek. Thank goodness I have this podcast to turn to!

Ok...i like the podcast obviously because i keep listening:) HOWEVER, they hate Dawson which is frustrating to say the least! Usually, when I’m listening to a podcast it’s because i like the topic! Lol. I prefer when podcasters stay objective ALTHOUGH i do enjoy hearing podcasters’ opinions usually toward the end. They literally like Abby Morgan more, and think she’s a better person than Dawson. I am SO confused about it all!! I love Dawson! I only took off one star because i keep listening and like them/the podcast otherwise! Enjoy!!

After listening to multiple Dawson’s Creek podcasts, I can tell you that Dawson’s Speak is my favorite. I appreciate the recaps, clips and commentary. Due to this podcast, I look forward to my work commute on Mondays. Keep up the good work! I think it will be interesting when Charles watches the series for a second time. As a fan of the show since it aired, I think Dawson’s Creek ages well and improves with every rewatch.
