One of the best podcasts for meaningful discussions about A Song of Ice and Fire. Ken and crew do a wonderful job walking through the various themes of each episode of House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones as well as the novels.

I wait every week for this show to pop, I love the panel, love the insights from the books (not a big reader over here). Keep up the awesome work crew this is going to be a blast this season!

I love Game of thrones and love everything about the show. But even more I love Ken and think everything he does is great. Highly recommend

Ken is a great talent and has an awesome podcast voice and is very likable but this show has lost its way. Casterly Talk use to infuse Ken’s takes with contributing opinions from special guests and the listeners (remember fan questions and takes?). and while he always promises to bring these back he never delivers. Instead each week he analyzes the “themes” of the episode which is really just his way of finding a couple common elements and a step-by-step rehashing of the episode. While this was fine at first, it’s turned into babble. The show could really benefit by getting some other opinions as I don’t feel Ken can carry it by himself. I’ll return when House of the Dragon starts and give it another shot but for now I’m out.

It’s the best Game of Thrones & A song of ice & fire podcast out there. It’s super enjoyable to any part/level of the fandom.

What Ken and the other Casterly Talk hosts have put together here is a show based in passion. Based in joy. Based in a fascination with all of those small details and beats that keep us coming back for more. It’s not just knowledge that you get here (and you do get a lot), you get discoveries and personal connectivity. A really special show that’s kept this franchise at the forefront of my heart & mind while we endure the wait for the next HBO series.

You guys have so much knowledge, and make excellent points. This really is the best GoT podcast with the best hosts.

Really enjoyed this first year with this format. Everyone was very enjoyable to listen to. Looking forward to growing and moving forward with you all. Always enough to talk about, with this property. Best GoT-World podcast cast out there. Not sure what podcasts they have West of West, but can’t be any better than this.

The whole panel is outstanding. I follow Ken and always try to find where he’s talking about Game of Thrones and Star Wars.

When this show first started I was all about it, it seemed like the hosts were people that cared about GRRM story and intricate details and foreshadowing. This is certainly not the case anymore. They do not talk about the terrible writing, the character assassination or the rushed storytelling.

This is absolutely my favorite Game of Thrones podcast. A great balance of book knowledge and show enthusiasm, conscious critiques, and always a positive spin. Love the discussion every week and always look forward to it!

Love a lot of Ken’s podcasts. Was a big fan of Daily Thrones. I was very excited for Casterly Talk but it’s just ok for me. I really enjoy Ken and Rachel’s thoughts. Plus the Ruminations from the Realm help round out the show. But the positives stop there for me. The show just doesn’t work for me when all 4 commentators are on. There’s no real chemistry between them. They all have their own points to make but it feels like they’re having 3 separate conversations. And when there are 4 of them on the show, Ken seems to get lost in the background. Another issue for me is Andres Cabrera. His commentary, both here and on the ForceCenter side of things, always comes off as flat. I think he’s a poor addition to this group. Kind of wish it was just Ken and Rachel.
