Some constructive criticism. You don’t need to use the F word to make your argument, completely unnecessary how much profanity there is. Take turns talking as your arguments are never made as it’s a jumbled mess. It’s not a good show when you are all against one analytics guy, the difference of opinion is good to have. As a former player you provide little to no knowledge but it’s not because your not knowledgeable. It’s because the show seems to be put together 5 minutes before, has no structure and is more chaotic then a presidential debate.

Make the show Castellani and Klemmer please. Castellani is smart and Klemmer isn’t the absolute worst.

A complete abomination of the previous iteration. I don’t feel like this show benefits me in any way or gives me something other baseball podcasts aren’t doing better in every single way. Don’t waste your time here

These guys give a straight forward baseball conversation that is a perfect blend of baseball technicals and anecdotal opinions

These guys are amateur compared to the other baseball pods.

Love listening to the show, but the sound problems every show are so annoying. Just pour more time and effort into the production of this show and I think it could be that much better

Love the show, love Carl. He’s made a ton of personal sacrifices in order to grow Barstool baseball and I respect the product he’s putting out. It will continue to improve and the Monday power rankings are awesome

Like the baseball talk, I like the concept of breaking it down the way they do, but Carl leading/ just being on the show is horrible. Just an absolutely unlikeable guy that is a terrible host. Please replace him with someone else.

This product would actually be listenable if the worthless little yankee fanboy would just shut up and go back to mommy.

I like the rotating array of voices on this guided by Carls passion for the sport of baseball

If you are a baseball nut, as I am, you’ll love it. They get good guests and mix Jake’s inside player’s view w/ fans’ take and stats nicely.

Not a fan of Carl or Jake

Super low energy hasn’t been the same since Jared. Finally had to remove and unsub after 4 years of listening

They talk a lot about the game and have some good insight but man there is no energy or personality on this show. It sounds like they record the show in a public library and are doing their best to keep it to a calm whisper. One guys voice is so monotone that it feels like I’m taking a defensive driving course and he’s the narrator. Wish one of them could be more energetic or exciting, if so the show would be so much better.

Carl is so self centered and utterly boring. Jake has the personality of a Brillo pad

Arrietas baseball knowledge is great, but he’s another great example of just how unintelligent some/most athletes are….. like just talking about basic stuff every adult knows and he sounds like an ignorant 12 year old lol maybe go back to school if you’re going to be so opinionated….? Won’t sound so idiotic in the future 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Bring back Jared & Dallas… these clowns just complain every episode

Shows kinda gone downhill. It’s informative and funny at times for sure. But the banter is definitely not as entertaining at PMT or Chiclets. Also, Jake’s constant complaint about analytics gets old. Not sure the dude really understands analytics. Nevertheless, I appreciate barstool trying to get another baseball podcast up and running!

A lot worse than Dallas and Jared’s new podcast. Maybe they’re still trying to find their rhythm but Carl just doesn’t add enough to the show and Jake’s kinda “meh”. I want to like it, but can’t get excited about it. Definitely prefer Baseball is Dead and Talkin Baseball to this.

Energy too low, and baseball seems to take a backseat to everything else.

Like the NBA although The Pat Bev podcast is promising it seems like barstool can’t find a good baseball podcast. Personally I wasn’t fond of Dallas and Jared so when they left I was interested in seeing how the new guys did. Well it’s not much better. Maybe next year Carl and Jake can get into a better rhythm.

Jake is great addition but Carl doesn’t do it for me. He doesn’t have the conversational skills of Eddie, he isn’t funny, and he’s not insightful enough about the game to add anything. Just seems like a try hard. You honestly think WSD and his shenanigans would work better. You already have Jake for the baseball knowledge.

#1) Loosen up, old show was funny and entertaining. This drags and is a tough listen #2) More MLB, less little league / golf / random recaps of barstool bologna (all your other shows are for that) #3) 45 minutes twice a week ain’t it, chief. Other show puts out 3 hours minimum Really want to like this show as a Chicago guy and cubs fan, need to put in some work.

Still trying to live on the coattails of Dallas and Jared. Massive little brother syndrome.

Love these guys and the work they do. Different interesting segments along with the wealth of insider information from Jake, make this show enjoyable for any baseball fan. Jake could loosen up a bit. It is barstool after all

I want this to be good because Carl is the man, but this podcast doenst have the juice. Jake is straight up not interesting to listen to, bottom line. Talk more straight forward baseball recaps and get Carl another co-host. Nothing personal, Jake.

What they talk about is great but Jake sound goes loud to soft and is not consistent especially with the compared to the other ones on there it needs to be fixed

Carl and jake are LEGANDS

I cannot get enough of this show. Great interviews and chemistry all around. Dansby interview was one of the best interviews I’ve ever listened to.

Carl and Jake are some some solid personalities but if you’re looking for some MLB talk, this ain’t it. I don’t always need a full MLB recap like the Talkin Baseball team does but if you’re only doing a couple podcasts a week at least cover the biggest stories in the game. There’s potential here but so far it hasn’t come anywhere close to living up to it.

Not sure you guys have realized that no one cares about Jake’s kid’s baseball team that is talked about EVERY episode or that Carl is sterile. No wonder you cant even crack the top 100 podcasts. Carl love you but this podcast is dying weekly. Get some guests, talk about the MLB.

Love the both of you guys but you neglect to talk about the actual baseball season going on far too much

I gave this a fair shake for the first few episodes but it may be on the chopping block. I like Car and Jake in general but I don’t care about Carl’s grip strength in college or vacations. A little unorganized and too many odd tangents for me.

I love Jake and Carl’s chemistry, but the audio makes it really hard to listen. Jake’s levels in particular are pretty rough, seems like he moves all around as he’s speaking. I’d listen to every episode if there was capable producing!

The pace at which the podcast moves makes it so enjoyable to listen to (also love the time breakdown of the segments in the notes of the episodes). I also love the new segments that y’all have added! Keep up the great work boys!

I love the podcast since Jake and Carl have taken over I have been coming back every week. Hope the algorithm works out better for you guys. Keep up the Excellent work! Another good guest may I recommend you guys have on is Dansby Swanson. He has appeared on the R2C2 pod and was excellent there as well!

Jake Arrieta knows ball, love the Carl / Jake duo. Finally a baseball podcast to listen too. Keep up the great work.

Gave it a try after running out of podcasts for the moment. Very ‘going through the motions’ type of show with little energy and emotion. Say what you want about Jared and Braden and they were often too much at times, but at least they made baseball feel that much more. Honestly felt like a chore to them.

Jake and Carl are awesome. Wish Jared the best but there was a whole social team and company along with us listeners that built this podcast. Happy to see it continue in good hands!

I gave this one a shot with Carl and Jake and really wanted to like it but it’s too bland and boring. Don’t know why they kept the podcast’s name and why they run social media the same way as before.
