Love these girls feel like they’re my best friends!

I started from the beginning and was so overwhelmed! I was like these women never take a break! I need some time to catch up but now I’m caught up and don’t know what to do with myself. I have other podcast lined up but I’m ready for the next episode! So much great topics that I love to share with others. On another note, I’m part of a DEI council at work for a major airline. I am the Latina and MS chronic illness warrior representative! I pitched an idea to start a podcast so we can go deeper into topics to share with everyone around work. I hope it becomes as big and successful as this one! -FYI-love this podcast!

I really want to give Mala and Diosa their 💐 for their story telling and holding space for women and Queer folks. I appreciate how often they encourage us to confront topics we’ve felt ashamed for while highlighting the beauty of our communities. It’s also been amazing watching their growth. Thank you, ladies!!

I love Locatora Radio! Mala and Diosa will never fail to make you laugh while you learn. I have never written a review for a podcast, but if any podcast is gonna get me to rave about them then it’s locatora radio. I have been listening to Locatora Radio since I was a junior in high school and I’m so happy that I can say this show has only continued to grow & that I am still able to listen in as a senior in college. As a queer Chicana in Kansas, my coming-of-age was brutal but Locatora Radio put words to my experience. I have learned so much and this show was my real introduction to Chicana and Latina feminisms. Thank you so much!

As a life-long Loca who never really feels represented in media, I listen to this podcast and marvel at these mujeres’ wisdom, their creativity, and their amazing vision. Loved everything about the Faketinas episode. The prevalence of falsas mentirosas in academia is shocking. Can you talk about CV Vittolo-Haddad, Andrea Smith, & Kelly Keane Sharp? Alternatively, I would love a deep(er) dive into the Hilaria Baldwin story. The level of white privilege and weaponized white woman lágrimas is unbelievable. She has broadened her appropriation to include Queer folx and now claims she is “culturally fluid.” She got a social psychologist on her podcast to try to legitimize her claim of being bicultural. Hearing your take on any of this would be amazing!

When I listen, I feel like I’m literally talking with friends! They are so funny and witty! They make my commute from work bearable.

Locatora radio has been my favorite podcast for 4 years. Mala and Diosa are amazing at building community and bringing folks with amazing stories on the podcast. I also enjoy the banter and chisme.

Mala and Diosa are always a great time! I love listening to the various topics they cover and the guests they’ve had on episodes too. I really appreciate them doing interviews in Spanish as well. Those conversations are very enjoyable. You’ll have a good laugh and love this duo when you tune in.

I can’t remember exactly when I began listening (probably 2017 when I got my first apartment) but it’s been ESSENTIAL indie audio documentation, entertainment, & journalism on the femme Latinx experience in the US. The recognition is real. Pay them. 😘

I came across this podcast after Mala posted about the Netflix Selena series. I was hooked and started listening in order. I wish I could’ve asked follow up questions in their bella doña episode a few years back where they took on the “white passing” privilege issue. I also wish they would’ve have a follow-up episode to “side piece” and talk about the main piece(wife, gf, etc). Should the unknowing side piece tell the main piece about the affair when they find out? How should a main piece respond/react. I also request you take on black and brown tensions and dedicate an episode to exploring this. The locatoras are accountable, Consistent, and make podcasting seem easy.

I started listening after my friend had recommended it for a while. I started in October after I started a new job (which was a very traumatic experience) and suddenly had a long commute. I immediately needed to consume all 90+ capitulos so that I could be ready for 100! Today, I have finished all your current episodes! You both got me through the worst part of this pandemic- having to say goodbye to a job that I loved but wasn't financially stable. There are so many days when your laughter, insight, and just relatability were the things that kept me going through this tough transition. I appreciate your vulnerability and honesty and can’t wait until things get back to normal and I can meet y’all at some events! Besitos!!!

Love this podcast! As a Latina scholar from the hood, I love listening to Mala and Diosa talk about the complex topics they discuss. Whether it’s Latinidad, Womxnhood, sexuality or just plain chisme, their episodes are always on point!

Love this podcast soo much! I’m a recent listener, but it’s helped me through some rough moments. I listen to it when I’m feeling down, and it helps bring me back up. Be it with reminding me who I am or providing me with some laughs, this podcast is THE BEST!

But I’ve been listening to the amazing library they have all the way back to Capítulo 1. Mala and Diosa give me hope, make me think, make me laugh and give me so much joy. Mala and Diosa make you feel like you’re hanging out with your girls during your commute or simply keeping you company while doing chores around the house. They have a mix of types of episodes - some are interview-based, some are thematic and some simply Q&A sessions. I do enjoy the variety, but I have to admit some of the interview-based episodes did not do it for me. I’m not sure if it was the selection of guests and/or the host’s line of questioning not clicking but I wish some of those episodes would be a little more organic and not so stiff. I’m also very glad that Diosa and Mala are speaking on politics more. While their focus is not on politics, at the end of the day everything is inherently political, including silence. I would definitely suggest listening if you want light hearted conversations that still tackle social justice issues. Overall, this is a great podcast and the hosts play on each other’s strengths very well. I’ve listened to it so much my partner knows their voices and intro by memory now. Thank you both for giving women and femmes this space. I’m excited to see what projects you have in the works to continue supporting. Besitos!

In love with this radiophonic novela from its inception. The energy, aesthetics, & glamour is everything I never knew I needed. Obvi these are very light akinned/yt Latinas so I don’t necessarily agree with their ‘brown girl hour’ slogan & also want to state: listen to brown & black podcasts as well! They’ve collaborated with some dope black & brown creators and podcasters - I.e my fav capítulo is with Bag LadieZ !!
