As a local Reformed pastor - who leans Lutheran! - this podcast is a wonderful help. Practical, faithful, and full of good humor and fellowship. Each episode is designed with a lot of care, and manages to be both succinct and substantial. Give us more, guys!

This is the only podcast where I don’t skip through the break music.

Turns out the perfect podcast exists. These faithful men cover topics that are applicable, challenging, and/or just plain fascinating…usually all three. Their banter usually gives me a hearty chuckle, and I always come away smarter and better prepared. Deep gratitude for keeping this going!

This show is a true gem! Covers so many topics with depth and insight and humor that is hard to find in a podcast. Love the Preaching Christ episodes and the forgotten era episodes the best!!

I should have written this a long time ago. Word Fitly has more Word, spoken more fitly, than any other venue I’m aware of. But wait: there’s more. If you’re not fluent in 19th and 20th century cultural references, prepare for another area of growth. If you are a Pastor, be prepared to feel grossly inadequate about every aspect of your ministry, and rightly so. Get an almanac so you can be in on the discussion, and plant a garden. It’ll make your whole experience go more smoothly.

I enjoy the show each week

First, the audio quality is excellent. Second, the guests and hosts are all knowledgeable and well-versed in their topics. Finally, these men are delivering an excellent program based on the Holy Scriptures and drawing from good theologians. I look forward to listening to more.
