Great to hear Dave Potts. And as always, no week is complete without listening to PD and the other guests.

A great Old School style podcast with plenty of new school information
Patrick Davitt is a true professional and a class act with a great voice for radio. Always full of good guests and smart fantasy baseball talk. Very in depth and thoughtful topics

Sure there was some points leagues discussion/information
Excellent, informative and entertaining podcast that I have been listening to for years, and would still highly enjoy even if I weren’t playing fantasy baseball.

Easily the best Fantasy Baseball-related podcast around
I have been fortunate to be a subscriber to the BaseballHQ Radio podcast since the initial episode. Patrick continually evolves the content and format so this is the first podcast to which I go when new episodes are scheduled. The information is comprehensive and insightful. The guest commentators and analysts add value across the board. I learn something new and useful in almost every episode. And the production-value is first-rate. The only modifications I might pose, especially between episode #1 and the beginning of the season, would be to discuss auction vs. draft strategies, and to position episodes on one league rather than both. If Tuesdays were for the AL, and Fridays for the NL, for example, one might obtain more comprehensive assessments and useful information. I have played in the same auction league for 36 years (I am one of the two surviving “original” members). BaseballHQ Radio helps me every year in my planning and execution, but we are AL-only; the NL portions of the episodes are “interesting,” but not useful (unless there is a subsequent trade). This is a GREAT podcast. Enjoy the insight and information.

    Top tier pod
Been listening to the soothing tones of Patrick Davitt for years. BHQ pod has solid structure and memorable segments. Frequent flyers, etc., are not to be missed. Great regular contributors too.

    More Alex Beckey
Love the show. Long time BaseballHQ guy. I just want more Alex Beckey segments.

    Patrick is great....guests....meh...
Outstanding podcast but the guests leave much to be desired. From Ray Murphy eating and smacking his food while on air and the guy that dang near blows out the subwoofer in my car when he uses words that start with P’s and B’s, the guests, while very knowledgeable, their delivery is very distracting.

    Great Pod
Host Patrick gets great guests from Gene McCaffrey, Salfino, Shandler, Zola, et al. Great support from HQ staff also, just the best in depth fantasy knowledge. If you don’t listen, I’ll beat you;-).

    Sets the industry standard
Patrick Davitt is a skilled host who knows how to ask interesting thought-provoking questions. Unlike most, he will push his guests’ thinking and challenge them (always politely and respectfully). I’ve been listening for more than a decade, and it is always chock full of information . The whole HQ team makes appearances in addition to outside voices, which results in a wide variety of perspectives. They bring one of the most comprehensive approaches to fantasy baseball analytics (“fanalytics”) you will find. Also one of the only places that does deep AL-only or NL-only analysis anymore. -@baseballpods

    Favorite podcast
I love the HQ Radio podcast. PD kills it each and every week with the guest hosts. Then you have the All Star lineup with Harold Nichols, Jock Thompson, et al. Looking forward to the 2020 season.

Great listen for fantasy baseball players
Updating my previous review. HQ Radio still provides Intelligent player analysis and forecasting that is based on skill statistics and I highly recommend it to all serious fantasy/roto players.

    great fantasy baseball podcast!
Great podcast! Patrick and the Baseball HQ crew do an amazing job every week. The guests are also very good. Love the longer-form interviews with some of the biggest names in the industry. I can't imagine the amount of work that goes into producing this show every week, but I'm grateful for all the knowledge and entertainment that it's brought me throughout the years that I've been listening! Give it a try...you won't be disappointed!

Patrick Harold Jock, The Father Son and Holy Ghost of Podcasters
The Holy Trinity of Podcasters. The best styled and Produced Sports Podcast. The smooth accented Style of Patrick Davitt, The Grizzled voice of Harold Nichols and the Supreme Jockness of Jock Thompson. They invoke 1950s, 1960s newsroom stlye baseball coverage. Give us at least an hour of Patrick , Harold and Jock by-play and a little bit longer on the segments. Give us more. Also, fine guests and Todd. Thanks.

Fantastic Format for the Fantasy Baseball Geek
Patrick is fantastic and I love the rotation of guests and his weekly talk with Todd.

    Great Content
    The best fantasy baseball podcast.

    I keep learning new things
I've listened to this podcast since 2012, and now have it set to auto download. I do have to listen at 2x speed, because the episodes are so long (some clock in at 2 hours plus) and some of the talk can be a little slow; but I keep listening because there's insightful analysis. Not just about fantasy baseball, but baseball in general.

    Grandslam for Fantasy MLB Pods
This pod is a grandslam for fantasy baseball podcasting. Insight and knowledge of host and guests commentary is deep and sharp. The only critique I can offer is that hey need a logo for the podcast, it shows up as a bland default gray. Add the BaseballHQ logo to make this the MVP of MLB pods.
  • TERMN8TR
Great analysis for fantasy players of all levels!
Awesome insights! I highly recommend this podcast because of the information, content, stats and discussion of fantasy baseball. Patrick is a great host and always has great guest on to discuss today's fantasy baseball topics and players. Download and listen.
  • Labash2004
    FB A-Z
Most FB podcast are rambling discussions about players. This is a broader discussion about FB, covering methods over player data. (But they do that too.) Eps with Gene McCaffrey are the best.

    No longer listen
This used to be my favoitee podcast. Now it seems to be one talking head after another. It has also proven extremely hard to download. I have deleted and reloaded the podcast, but it simply refuses to download. Told HQ several times, no help forthcoming.
  • Instantly has become the best
    Won't download, must stream
I've been unable to download any podcast since forever. Need wifi to stream it. I've tweeted Davitt a few times but either he could give a crap or has a shadow Twitter account solely used to sell HQ and podcasts. Old guy prolly doesn't even know how to text.
  • Sebadiah23
    Patrick is a great host
I love recent changes like the long-form interviews. It's great for talking about higher level fantasy baseball concepts. With Ron S. gone, so is any smugness. The podcast team is a very likable crew with great guests. Five stars.
  • Slwagner21
    Long time listener
I am a long time listener and for the most part enjoy the show. Nothing against Todd Zola, but his guest segments are way too long and reduce the overall enjoyment of the show. Quick hitting segments and moving on to the next subject seems better to me. Thanks for all your efforts Patrick!

    Best podcast in the business
Over the last 8 years I have listened to every podcast show that talks about fantasy baseball. Baseball HQ is the only show that never disappoints. Let's face it, if ESPN or CBS knows something everyone else in your league knows it too. Year after year the industry leading insights from the team at HQ have helped me win leagues. Their discussions and reports will get you to rethink your entire approach and "learn to play the winners way"!
  • Ian826
    Great Analysis
Best in the business for what they do, but c'mon guys... I love the stripped down, stats-first work, but please at least put the HQ logo on the empty pod' logo.
  • Keanuthon
    The best fantasy baseball podcast!
PD is a great host who brings knowledge, humor, and happiness with every new podcast! Awesome guests and great insight. Thanks so much!

    The Pros
Baseball HQ is where the fantasy experts live. These guys have been playing fantasy longer than most of you have been on this earth-this experience—and honesty is invaluable. Check them out. But bring a pad and pen-there’s a plethora of info coming your way and it’s hard to digest it all in one sitting. Keep up the stellar work guys and thank you for what you do :)
  • neale1
    My go-to baseball podcast
Hands-down the best produced fantasy baseball podcast out there. The content is top-notch and it is super easy to listen to, unlike other baseball podcasts . Thanks and keep up the great work.
  • aikman72
    Good podcast
Really informative but please don't replay Zola every week.

Great Podcast, but change up Todd Zola
I really enjoy and look forward to this podcast. Patrick Davitt is wonderful, but the podcast used to be better when he had a variety of guests, interviewing a different one each week. While Todd Zola every so often would be fine, as he used to be one of these periodic guests, having him each week is getting boring, to the point where I'm skipping his interview. Come on, mix it up like you used to. No knock on Todd, but he shouldn't be a weekly guest. Also, I loved Patrick's music history that used to be at the end of the podcast. I learned so much. Patrick, please add that back in!!!

A must add to your rotation!
Baseball HQ team/guests are grizzled veterans in the fantasy-world. They all have a good handle on sabermetrics, and how to analyze statistics to formulate strategies and future performance. There is no fluff or random banter! Very informative and a must listen to anyone needing to brush up on their saber-fundamentals.

The standard in fantasy baseball podcasts
I have listened to about every fantasy baseball podcast, and IMO this is by far the most comprehensive. It is well planned and produced, the guests are informative, and there isn’t a lot of table talk that plague other FBB podcasts. I listen to every single show religiously, it’s really great content.

    Phenomenal
Always on time, and always informative. Great work.

    No fluff, just facts
Unlike many baseball podcasts, Baseball HQ is numbers- and analysis-driven, high on substance and low on style. The host doesn't try to win you over with his personality; he and the Baseball HQ staff are there not to laugh it up but to provide information you can use to win your drafts and leagues. (Isn't that the point?) Plus, it's a well-organized show with expert guests and useful features, including a regular advanced metrics primer. I particularly enjoyed the scouting report for the new Strat-o-Matic cards. And, I should add, it's not as though the host, who is very Canadian, never has any fun. Every once in a while, he will surprise you -- the "Chris Davis Blues" serving as the most recent example.

Great insight, info, and statistics. Personalities use great metics to analyze players. If you like to be informed about fantasy baseball this is your podcast

    Among the best
At first, I didn't care too much for the "telepromptor" feel to the presentation. Then I took a trip to the 06010, where no clarity comes from their chaotic presentation. The analyses given by the host and guest(s) are usually helpful, and tend to cover all formats. Each topic is covered in a succinct manner, thus allowing for an appreciable number of topics to be discussed in each episode. The intro/outro instrumental track is even great. If I had three hands, I'd give this podcast three thumbs up.

    Packed with great information
Fantastic podcast filled with great information every week, and the site is even better. Check it out!

    Workable
It's a little disconcerting to be getting advice from guys who can't pronounce players names correctly. Leyland ('Lay - land') and Rondon ('Ron - done') are one thing, but the first guy on early April 2013 podcast said Votto ('Vote - oh') several times. Wow. And they get a commentator that's under 70 years old? That said, I still listen.

    Informative Podcast
A informative podcast which espouses the sabermetric approach used by Ron Shandler in his Baseball Forecaster. I've found the content to be timely and helpful, the guest commentators to be diverse and interesting. This is one podcast which I do not want to miss!

    Fantasy Nuggets Abound!
This is an excellent podcast for all fantasy baseball fans. The host Patrick is awesome and the analysts that come on are always on point. Especially 'Nick' (Harold Nickels). Dude just sounds like he was born to talk about baseball! I'm a fan of the espn fantasy podcast with Ravitz and Berry, which is also good, but if you're looking for deeper, sharper analysis, then this is the podcast for you.

BBHQ is my number one source for fantasy news and projections. I like it that they are no nonsense, other for some music and baseball humor (Who's on first?), Patrick Davitt and company are all business in trying to help us identify good deals and bad deals in the world of fantasy baseball.
  • M. Clayton Osborne
    Good stuff
It's gotta be a must listen for fantasy baseball players. Great info & analysis!
