I have never watched a Hallmark movie (came here via Lifetime Uncorked) but I listen to this podcast every day. These guys have the energy of my favorite Sportscenter shows but it’s all directed to romance. It’s like peanut butter and bananas; it shouldn’t work but it’s incredible! PS: I love the bits! Keep em coming!

I’ve truly enjoyed for the last couple of years listening to the Hallmark movie reviews from Bran, Dan and the gang. It’s great when Hallmark actors are on the show to provide their perspectives and behind-the-scene stories. My only minor criticism is Dan can be over zealous with constantly correcting Bran and others on their grammar or word usage. Actually, with current Loveuary Hallmark movies, Dan would make a great Jane Austin character… the pedantic Mr. Daniel Thompson 😀

I could do without the bits and the singing. Otherwise, a fun podcast.

I found this podcast after starting to watch “The Way Home” and immediately it became my most anticipated drop of the week! These guys are a RIOT and so real and fun. They are clearly having a blast and not taking anything too seriously. Even their “insults” or bad reviews about a show or movie are done without being mean and with the right balance of silliness and respect. Keep it up Guys!

I am a new listener and I love this podcast! Could do without the weird voices they do from time to time but overall such a fun podcast! I especially love the episodes with Patrick, and wish there were more of them!

I wish I knew about this podcast sooner. None of my friends watch Hallmark movies so I was looking for a podcast to enhance my viewing experience. Thank goodness I found these guys. I laugh til I cry at their commentary on these movies. I’m going to listen to all the 2022 movie reviews because I can’t get enough of my new found “friends”. I started listening years ago because I thought someone has to talk about these movies. Now I keep listening because I like to compare my opinions to the guys.

When I first started listening, I thought their “producer”/Bran’s close friend Tracey was two people, Tracey and Trace, because Dan referred to her as Trace so much. Please do more interviews!

Just a quick note guys - Dan you’ve got to pull back on your constant criticism of Bran. I mean, not all the way. I’m thinking, 50%? Just keep it in mind. Love y’all, mean it.

You guys are getting this all wrong. The signs that Elizabeth was going to leave Lucas were always there. You just didn’t want to see it. It wasn’t just all the sudden, it was spread out over several episodes even way back season 8 episode two when Elizabeth tells him that it would just hurt too much if she lost him like she lost Jack. She loved him back then, but she was scared. Elizabeth was always meant to be with Nathan. End of story. you guys are leaving so much out. if you want someone that knows really what’s going on give me a call.

I originally started listening to the show because all of my friends made fun of me for how much hallmark I watched and I thought this would be a fun show because it’s like having friends who actually watch the movies to talk to. But it has evolved into a lot more. I started watching when calls the heart because of the show I got so much addicted to watching it just because I wanted to hear the reaction of the guys especially Dan. And the fast Fridays got me into a whole new routine for the summer or I was really looking to Fridays and actually watching the movies myself just so I could follow along with the episodes as well. It’s like having a group of friends over for a bad movie sleepover.

Full disclosure I have been a Double Decker for a little over a year and a half. These guys are FUNNY and the community and hosts they have crafted are amazing. I don't think I can come up with a better use of Facebook than their community and my day is always brighter when I listen. I just wish my commute was a little longer so I can finish the episode. If you are looking for a place to enjoy not only Hallmark movies and Christmas movies but just good people don't just listen but join up. I promise you won't regret it one bit. Thanks to all the hosts for what you do. I appreciate all of you.

Bran, Dan and the gang bring the fun entertainment all week long! I love the Hallmark Christmas movie reviews but the team up with Ryan for The Way Home and now Fast Fridays is just epic!! These 3 have a great time and even though they are trashing my fave movie franchise…I absolutely love them! Keep it up fellas!

Bran, Dan, and friends are so fun to listen to, the bits, the Banter, and the guests are all amazing. I’ve laughed so hard I cried ( happy tears). Had the absolute best time meeting the guys in person. They truly are just the best! Keep up the fun.

This is an awesome podcast. Been listening for years. These guys are hilarious and always entertaining, no matter the topic. I even listen to episodes where they discuss shows and movies I haven’t seen, and it’s still so good. Today, I listened to the episode where they discussed Fast & the Furious. It was great! I’m a little concerned though about Ryan’s bullying of Bran. 🍞

I’m sorry, but he does not belong here. Please tell me I’m not alone in this?! He’s really not enjoyable. To be extremely melodramatic: he’s ruining this podcast for me. Please. Please! If he can’t go away, can he be 1 day max? Everyone else is wonderful and love them all, just not Brian. He’s the worst. FYI: fudge is not baked Brian IS right about zucchini bread 😬…. Okay, I’m thawing to Brian. But I think, if he is such a good baker; perhaps he could do a weekly baked good suggestion to go with one of the review movies. Maybe (even)?

I absolutely love this podcast. These guys are great. It’s such a nice break from busy day. They have me laughing so hard with their takes on these movies. I don’t always agree with them, but I can respect that.

I have been listening to this podcast for a couple years now after a friend turned me onto it in 2020. I listen to it on my drive to work and find myself laughing out loud several times during my drive. I enjoy the takes on the movies, even if I disagree, and love all of the bits. This podcast is one of the highlights of my day and I highly recommend it.

The definition of guffaw is to laugh in a loud or boisterous way, and that is legitimately the best word I can think of to describe the sounds I make when listening to this podcast. There is no polite chuckle or girlish giggle; I literally guffaw. My family rolls their eyes and tries to ignore me, but I cannot help it. The commentary that these hosts and their guests give is ear hole gold to this Hallmark movie loving gal, and I am thrilled to have found this gem of a podcast. ETA: it’s been almost 2 years since I found DTH and wrote this review, and I stand by it. I think I am now addicted to this podcast as much as I am to the Hallmark movies! I look forward to the podcast after watching the movies! It’s so fun to listen their takes! A few weeks ago, I’d never heard of the Deck the Hallmark podcast. As of today, I’ve binged nearly every episode and joined the Patreon. For years, I’ve gotten my chops (and other things) busted for obsessively watching and enjoying the Hallmark films - oftentimes, forcing me to shamefully sneak away to my underground lair to watch in secret. But now, because of “The Guys”, I feel like I belong to an awesome new club. Or... Gang? No, that’s too tough. “Gangs” are for Lifetime. We’re definitely a club. This show has the perfect combination of love and snark for Hallmark and Hallmark-adjacent movies! They see the movies the same way that I do: enjoy the feels but also know the wait-whats, and they point out both. Now, the hosts have been friends for years, and so it takes time to catch on to their running gags/bits. But once you do, you’re hooked!!! I regularly laugh so hard I’m crying! They are so great. It’s my favorite! Edit to add: Brian is a great addition!! He fits right in!

I love Hallmark movies, but the campiness of them is not lost on me. This is a great podcast that combines the fun of watching them with the reality of how crazy some of these story lines are. These guys have fun, which makes listening to them entertaining. Best of all it is safe to listen to at work. ** updated: I’ve been listening since the beginning and change is always hard, but I love the new dynamic and the many guest contributors, especially the addition of Brian. He has been a perfect match for Bran and Dan. I have always loved the pod and I am so glad he has moved so effortlessly into the middle chair.

Just finished my first full year as a Double Decker! Bran, Dan, Panda, Brian, Alonso, Patrick, Antonio, Jacks, and Dustin— whew! What a stellar talent pool! While I miss Panda terribly, I have to say new guy Brian fits right in with Bran and Dan and often brings a thoughtful or hilarious perspective. Bran and Dan have built a truly incredible community of loyal and highly engaged listeners and treats us like family.
