I love this podcast, been listening for years so it was pass due for a review. With Steven and Alex now at the helm is just as entertaining without that Ohio boy who thinks he better than all us. Great information to feel connected to the beer world and been loving the NA alternatives. As PA boy it’s very fun to hear about the whale days and freezing in line some troegs splinter blue. Also glad Alex joined yota family and got a 4Runner.

Even outside of that, love the show. Jimmy Redd also took my virginity. Ouch.

After hearing Augie Carton mention Alex Kidd for the 700th time on his show I decided to give this podcast a listen. Absolutely worth it. 6 episodes in and I’ve gotten a eureka’s castle reference, plenty of wrestling throwbacks and some quality beer info. Highly recommend.

At first, I thought this was going to be just a tick. What do I need to know about video games, wrestling, or….Ohio? As I worked my way through the backlog, I really warmed to this podcast. It’s light and whimsical with great bits. Alex brings the beer knowledge, Michael has the best characters, and Stephen holds it all together. This podcast is a sure fire TREAT. I recently got a job working as a sales rep for a local brewery and spend all day out on the road. Having a beer centered podcast has been great for expanding my knowledge on the brewing process and the beer industry as a whole. Micheal also deserves some voice acting work with his silky smooth voice. Stephen needs to be hired by the WWE to bring them back to their 90’s status. And Alex has the same name as me so it feels like I’m involved. Overall I give the podcast 1 Michael review, it’s pretty good.

Came for the beer and improv entertainment, stayed for the expert ultimate frisbee commentary (free Wham-O plug).

These guys are great, honestly! You get to broaden your vocabulary every episode, you get beer news, you get to hear people drink beer (so you don’t have to) and talk about it/rate it, really funny improv bits. Seriously, I laugh at least once every episode. My wife don’t even hate it, and she hates EVERYTHING!

Yo Malty Boiz, I’ve enjoyed catching up with 199 episodes (+ bonuses) over the past few months just in time for episode 200 to air. However, ever since Michael started rhyming 2 with glue (Batch 22 at 14 seconds) I’ve been dying for more glue eating talk, but all I get are meaningless references to SoCal roads and beers that might be “pretty good”. What gives? Give me more glue or I will steal the phones of everyone I know to leave one star reviews and make sure you only drink Rauchbiers and Flanders Reds on the show from now on. The ball’s in your court gents. Also I’ve taken Mr. Maraschino hostage in my cellar. He gets released when you meet my demands 4.2 on the Pilsner scale

Michael must have some iron deficiency or something. All his stories involve the consumption of bugs. Now he “has to” consume barleywine. I’m not sure if he sees that as the upgrade it really is. I rate this one cicada.

I think these are the people responsible for my husband constantly calling people in Supreme sweatshirts who are drinking IPAs “new money”. This podcast also taught him how to sell beer he won’t drink for bourbon he won’t drink. It’s been a weird few years. Five stars…?

Good all around and pretty versatile. Glad some characters have disappeared which will remain nameless so they don’t show up again. The drink along episodes were near top tier and really got us involved. All in all I’d just say more Barleywine, English Barleywine.
