1966LOPKMUHRequest for other radio showsGood afternoon I recently came across your 1001 radio days and I love it it is very interesting do you think you’ll ever put any of the soap operas that came on the radio back in those days I would love to hear those or if possible some of the old fashion Sherlock home radio programs keep up the great work thanks

SuperShoeDivaOkay but…There are no individual episode descriptions just a blathering of verbosity and quite frankly it us just an ad for other podcasts. Speaking of ads, they are overly loud compared to the shows so if you are listening to relax, forget it!

Catholic #2So GoodThis is SO GOOD! What a great way to pass the time. These episodes are Historical Documents in themselves. What a great resource Mr. Hagedorn has provided us with. I had no idea these even existed, and I am glad to experience them.

New Mexico GalWill Rogers StoryPodcast on the Will Rogers story was entertaining and inspiring. A great selection for a tribute to a special person and his loving wife.

OMMerkNot family friendly commercialsListen if you want to hear commercials for feminine products that allow you to have mess free fun with a friend. Real nice. It’s amazing how many of these podcast have junior high school rejects writing commercials. Do we really need to hear about “periods”. I guess fart or diarrhea products are not far behind. Snort snort. Please grow up and have a little more sophistication.

zinginaround4 years (I think) with Jon HagadornJon Hagadorn is a great host, has great radio shows and guests. Never listened before I accidentally found his 1001 shows. Then I started telling everyone. If one show isn’t of interest another will be! I can’t stand Flo, but for these shows I will suffer through!

Rigged spin wheelMore cleaning ladies than ever these days handling their businessReading reviews huh? Trying to decide to listen or not likely. Here’s the time saver...J. Hagadorn= a great host and narrator. The show? = Fantastic and insightful with a dash of memory lane for those familiar. New wisdom for those first time younger listeners packed with entertainment. Take it from me and thousands of other reviewers. TAKE IT FOR A SPIN! No regrets! If for some odd reason it’s not one of your 1001 favorites a clean break to something else it’s super easy. Good thing that won’t be an issue... So listen for free with one short progressive commercial funding the other 99% of the content seeing That its nothing like 1 out of 1000 reviews may claim. We all just hope your days get better mr and ms haters. Dont forget to Support mr hagadorn on the easy funding options he offers when you fall in love with the shows. I say “DONT forget” since you’ll be soon drawn in by this mans content then get back in the action. So it’s easy, just like, subscribe, and leave a kind word for all he does. Review shopping is over! Cheers!

Charming frogGreat PodcastWonderful that these old broadcasts get new life. Can’t imagine why anyone would give poor reviews to this podcast, I guess people get disgruntled about anything. I am very delighted to listen!

Modern crusaderIf you donate to this guy’s patreon...If you donate to this guy and his patreon you’re being taken for a ride... and I mean way down the road. These are all public domain and he doesn’t add anything of substance to them to warrant financial support.

GNXgypsyGreat but...I love old school radio drama. Been listening for years. On AM radio before I found this podcast. My only beef is the Progressive insurance ad that plays repeatedly. Assumes everyone has a “cleaning lady” come to their new house? Please. That idea and assumption is as old as these replayed broadcast. And in case your wondering, no, I’m not talking about a historic ad for Lucky Strikes or Signal Oil. This is modern ad. And it’s inappropriate. Makes me mad every time is I hear it. Which is several times per episode. Reminds me of how much I appreciate my chosen insurance company. Geico. They run funny ads. Not crusty offensive stuff like said beef.
