I found this podcast a few months ago and have mostly enjoyed it. Managed to put out mostly useful and interesting shows even in the lull between the winter meetings and spring training starting. Their politics do leak out from time to time, wouldn’t expect a show whose whole premise is that they’re not the guys parroting the company line would have such boot licker politics but yeah… Will be interested to see how shows go when the season starts, that will probably decide if I’ll stick around or not.

This podcast has gotten better and better over the years. It’s not always been sunshine and rainbows, but they keep it real like actual Boston fans would. I like this podcast better than section 10 now, and it’s been that way for several months. Nice work boys!

Title says it all. Love all contributors - they know baseball, love the Sox and are entertaining. This will be my go-to pod for quite a while. Keep up the good work boys!

With HotStove heating up, and after the Crochet deal I went looking for RedSox talk. My first time listening was 12/13/24, and I turned it off after 15 mins because the audio issues was unbearable. One person (Nick I think) can barely be heard, so you turn it up, then all of the sudden there’s an old lady yelling at me, and I have to turn it back down, back to “guy I can’t hear”. Honestly couldn’t even focus on the content of the conversation because the audio inconsistency was all I could think about….. also mute buttons aren’t that hard to figure it out folks. #ComeOnMan

Pretty much everything wrong with Boston sports fans all wrapped up into one poorly done podcast. Don’t quit your day job fellas.

As every listener is, I am a huge Sox fan. Back in the day I used to listen to Section Ten, but when they stopped uploading I just stopped listening to podcasts. A few years ago I took up a very boring job, in which I get very board, so I turned back to podcasts. It took me a while to find a good one, but I settled on this. All of the guys a smart individuals, which shows in their vocabulary, and have relatively high baseball iq’s. Their takes, while more negative than other podcasts, are very truthful, and come from a place of love. Terry is also pretty funny in his antics with his haters. Also, this podcast has NO ADDS, which is amazing! It’s just some down to earth Redsox fans, who don’t have to worry about catering to any sponsors. Other podcasts have like ten minutes of adds, cough cough locked on Red Sox. So it is refreshing to not have to listen to adds when I tune into these guys while I’m showering or driving.

This gets me through my days and nights. I love baseball and these guys are true fans. This should be the number one Sox podcast. All the others are garbage.

Describing Jarren Duran: “I don’t use this word often, but he’s a bum…” They proceeded to insult his baseball IQ and called for him to be DFA’d. Now he’s an ASG MVP, and he’d be playing for another team if these idiots had it their way. Don’t waste your time on these clowns. Literally any Red Sox podcast would be a better follow.

I tried to like this pod, but there is no nuance, or insightful baseball commentary, to be had. They’ve lost several contributors and the pod is below average at best

I’ve loved listening to this podcast. I thought all the guys were smart and had good stuff to say. I’ve listened to every episode for about a year. I thought the idea of a “Ladies Night” episode was stupid, but I listened anyway. That’s when Terry spoiled it all for me by asking the Trump vs Biden question. I come here to AVOID politics. You get to vote in November. Why do we need to get into this dumpster fire now? Can’t we just talk baseball!!!?

Tried listening but one of the guys sounded like he was talking in a bathroom.

If you want to listen to more of a fans point of view type of podcast then I’d say this is the top podcast to listen to. I think they really hold their own in this market dominated really by one guy (Jared) . Although I listen to both , I enjoy this one more , just cause it sounds like a couple of buddies sitting around talking Redsox baseball.

Must Listen for all the Suckers who love and hate the Boston Red Sox!

I like the content and there isn’t much random chit chat, so you really get to hear a lot about the Sox and what’s going on with the team. The only issue I have is that Terry, or however you spell his name, just sounds like he’s always annoyed and having the worst day of his life. I’m sorry Terry, but this is a podcast. Can you sound a little happy to be there.

I love this podcast. . Love the new additions! Only semi-wish is that they had someone with extensive knowledge of farm system. Maybe invite a guest speaker once in a while (Ian Cundall?). Keep up the great work!

For a Red Sox podcast they certainly seem to hate the Sox

This is a well engineered podcast. There are variable formats ranging from series reviews to rumor arguments to “deep dives” into specific issues. Best Red Sox podcast on the planet.

I started listening about 8 months ago and I’m glad I found this podcast. I wanted something where I could learn more about the team and baseball and these guys nail it. I also love that they don’t sugar coat anything and tell it like it is. I look forward to new episodes coming out.

Just discovered this show, and while I love the entertainment value of Section 10, this show fills my need for straight Red Sox talk. Love the varying opinions and incite. Looking forward to the Hot Stove discussions throughout the winter months! Steve S.

Best Sox podcast out there. Really great team that sticks to baseball and isn't as condescending as other podcasts!

This is a must listen podcast for all Sox fans. Great hosts and great content!

They are hardcore baseball fans, which I like. I like that they take as much time as they want when going through topics - not a time crunch. I listen while mowing 5 acres and it passes the time - usually back-to-back episodes. My only criticism is the guy from Rhode Island is in love with himself and seems to love the sound of his own voice. He fancies himself a comedian and comes across as a know-it-all, when he occasionally gets exposed on some basic facts that you know the other guys know (e.g., thinking well-known pitchers are left-handed when they are right-handed) ... but I’m nit-picking. The guy in Colorado seems like the nicest and least jaded of the bunch. Keep it up, guys.

I’m more excited to hear the co-host than Mr Kushman itself. He is so negative about the players and trashes people when they go into a slump. Criticizes too much that you get a sense that he is not happy in life haha.

Somewhere between Sox Prospects and Section 10. A solid middle of the order podcast.

Great content and knowledge of the Red Sox. One of the better podcasts out there for Red Sox baseball.

These guys are pompous and annoying. There are better choices. Don’t waste your time.

If you want to listen to completely non objective, biased Red Sox nonsense, this is the podcast for you. Nothing the Sox do can be wrong. Tried it for 2 and got the same kind of garbage. Avoid if you like fair reporting. I would give them zero stars of I were allowed to.

I stumbled on this podcast and enjoyed the fact that it sounded like some regular guys who are true fans of the Red Sox and baseball, in general. I enjoy their analysis, although I question their ability to pick winners. I hope that one of the commentators comes to terms with the fact that there ARE Red Sox Nation members in CT, and we’re more passionate because we have to defend our team against all the rabid Yankee fans. Highly recommend this podcast. It’s time well spent.

Ok ok ok, you care about your ITunes metrics or something, so I’ll give you glory hunters five stars, due to your apology about JD the “bum”. .217 is nothing to scoff at, and I’m just trying to represent my client. Clearly I listened to the show again, but I absolutely expect a sincere apology in September of 2021 when JD is hitting .300 with thirty homers. It’s basically like listening to a group of avid and knowledgeable Sox fans sitting in the bar talking some ball. Entertaining to listen to, but so many awkward pauses and background noises. Clean it up and you have a great show.

I’ve been listening to this show for the last 9 months and I’ll never get that time back. Horrible show, uneducated host and guests, terribly produced. Stay away.

I cannot take a show seriously if it cites Twitter as a legitimate source of news.

Never heard somebody actively root against a team they supposedly support with such spite and venom. Cushman is not a representation of fans, nor understands how to actually run a podcast. Hence the several name changes to the pod.
