    Roz Chast
Listening to a podcast of a slide show is like a Roz Chast cartoon. Absurdly funny.

    Zamora great.
Liked this interview a lot. Look forward to A. Davis, R. Reich and (fingers crossed) Patti Smith interviews…..so far enjoyable and timely.

    Thiebaud - Lesser 2005 replay
Splendid interview, a wide roaming, good personal insights on painters and painting.

    Nikole Hannah-Jones & Barry Jenkins
I was looking forward to this podcast since each of the guests has done important, creative, sustaining work. Sad that I couldn’t resist turning it off with 33 minutes remaining.... Nikole and Barry—get over yourselves. All very smug—which made it easier, I’m sure, for you to feel you could inflict beep-after-beep on your listeners because you felt so entitled to throw out words “City Arts & Lectures” knew weren’t appropriate for a general audience.

    Finally
Glad to finally see this program do podcasts after years of not keeping up with the times!

    Podcast
Four star for the show in general. Two star for Jonathan Franzen’s talk: extremely boring and stoic.

You have to go to the website to connect
Finally City Arts and Lectures is available in podcast. It is not indexed in the search function for this app. You have to go to the City Arts and Lectures website, click on “radio broadcasts” and then click on the shows that are hyperlinked. That will bring you to the episode you chose. Then scroll to “more (available) episodes” to download other broadcasts.

    Jill Soloway
I have loved City Arts since the 1990s, but the show with Jill Soloway et al ... my god. Sarah Palin introduces blatantly racist language in public? And you wonder why people of color are not eager to align with you. I can’t believe that nobody in your group reminded the idiot who made that statement of the violent language we’ve been employing to keep black people marginalized for centuries.

    Finally! Finally!! Finally!!!
CA&L has joined the 21st century! Please, please post Sydney Goldstein & Jonathan Winters (live 5/30/07, on KQED 09/30/18)... I'm sure someone can help you digitize the tape recording.

    FINALLY!!!
Very excited that City Arts & Lectures programs are now available on demand. CA&L topics are always timely and interesting - even if you are not initially familiar with the speaker.

Finally! Now a great show has a podcast
I’ve been wanting a City Arts & Lectures podcast for at least 5 years. The show has a wide variety of intelligent speakers that I’ve often wanted to relisten to.
