I used to enjoy listening to this podcast, mostly for Lex because she’s hilarious but lately the conversations have been very redundant and I get annoyed when Drea constantly interrupts/talks over Lex or sometimes the guests. The podcast started off informative and entertaining but the dating preferences, financial statuses of men topics, etc has gotten old 🥱

Not only are Lex and Drea hilarious, beautiful and relatable but they are religiously consistent. As a creator myself, I have a heartfelt respect for the dedication to their craft. Keeep doing your thing ladies! 🔥

These two women are beautiful, inspirational, and a great time. I have been listening to them for a few years and have yet to listen to an episode that doesn’t make me laugh at some point. They hold a space that allows us to talk, learn, and listen to conversations that sometimes are hard to have in certain spaces.

These ladies be having me DYING. Very refreshing podcast. A little bit of everything here! They are funny, classy, a tiny little bit ratchet… it’s a vibe!

Ive been loving listening to these girlies weekly for some sista girl content but I was highly turned off in the last episode during their segment on meditation etc. I want them to know they have listeners from all backgrounds, cultures and religions and unfortunately they came off quite ignorant to be and lacked world experience on those topics. Its fine to love and be a believer in what you believe in but as black people we are more vast then our western American experience and religions. I will keep listening but I was quite turned off, especially sense in other episode they seemed openminded.

I’m new to y’all talk show but I’m an instant supporter. I just watched the episode with Ali Saddiq and have been dying laughing. First of all not Lex calling her old thang thick but Drea talking about Ali sneaky link had on compression socks???? Like, what?? Y’all are egregious and I love it!

Idk what the producers are doing because why they aren’t catching the audio issues before putting the Episode out. It goes in and out with someone sounding like they are no where near a mic and it all started after moving to the new studio

I understand why they are single and it’s very annoying how each episode is mainly Drea talking about what a man can do for her. It’s very tiring. I be tryna finish the episodes but I check out after the first 20 minutes 😑 I used to really like the show but the conversation is always the same every episode and it’s grows to be boring 😑 the new set is too big and the sound is echoing… I think ima take a break from the pod 2023… very disappointed tbh

We love y’all, the new set is great. BUT, the audio absolutely stinks. Its hella crackly & sounds like y’all are in a tunnel yelling at the mic down the hallway. Please get some mics that y’all can talk into and not yell at. Our eardrums are begggggging you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

One Y’all lady host talked about having a weird dream on a plane. Here is what the dream means. The unknown pilot was probably GOD. The plane staring to suddenly take a dive after it was flying high is mostly reflecting your life and there’s coming a major down turn in how you been living. And He will save you. When you offered to give him “your best” and He refused was showing that GOD doesn’t need anything from you because He is love. Real love doesn’t require anything back from you for doing right by you. He just does what does because He is who He is and is like that to everyone. You can buy that kind of love which you never had and never will have love like His. No one can compare. You should know that He cares about your well being and wants to Sam’s you in real life. Your going the wrong way. Extremes. But you can go the right way and be extreme. Real look at what you offered him is what you have done to do so many others and your life is only a fraction of the real potential you have.

I love listening to this podcast. I would love if you’ll did just one episode answering questions that are sent in, that’s my favorite part of the show most of the time.

I LOVE this podcast so much that I decided to actually write a review (which I never do). I am a 23 year old fellow Houstonian born and raised and discovered this podcast from one of my followers on Twitter recommending Pour Minds to someone. I played back a previous episode and since December of last year I’ve been HOOKED! Every time I do my makeup or drive to school downtown to Texas Southern University (which is bumper to bumper traffic) I have Pour Minds playing in the background. Lex P and Drea Nicole are like the two older sisters that you chat with about ANYTHING. Some parts of an episode will either have me dying in tears or have me opening my eyes about something. If you need a good podcast that is all about life, sex, soul and the experience of being a black woman then TUNE IN! 10 out of 10; would recommend.

I really enjoy the show and variety of topics! Both hosts bring unique perspectives to the conversations that def have me either reflecting or cracking up. I would love if we could spend more time as listeners hearing the central conversation unfold instead of spending so much time on the check-in at the beginning of each show. Maybe cut the intro convo down and get straight to the meat. :)
