The rating said clean, but it is not. Not a podcast to listen to with the family

The into stuff is like nails on a chalkboard. Leave it out and just stick to the good stuff…the interviews.

Always love listening to Will when I'm out in the trails. He makes me laugh and his interviews with the elites are very informative and entertaining.

Podcast can occasionally be informative and entertaining. The host seems more interested in over enunciating and sound effects than delivering a recap of events and news. Probably the best in a weak genre.

All-around great podcast. I love the race reports and interviews, they are both meaningful and fun. The recent episode after Hildervat has inspired me to find a way to get to Florida and participate in that race...whether I can afford to travel or not!

Will continues to deliver strong interviews with a good variety of interesting guests! Highly recommend for anyone who is into OCR or trail running. It’s clear Will researches his guests and asks solid questions to keep the conversation going. Thanks for the good work Will!

Five starrrrrssss! Ha, ha, ha, ha! So good, I wish I could give it SIX stars! Love news on the happenings in OCR and the inteviews. Will has a great interview style, not to mention a very dry sense of humor. My only complaint is I wish there were more episodes.

The only podcast I need to keep up with OCR news! Just the right amount of humor and wit from the host, Will Hicks! The Spartan Games recaps have been the best thing to come out of 2020!

Love the podcast. Always good to hear your voice. In reference to your question, I’d much rather have shorter episodes than one long one. For example, three 30 minute episodes are much more appealing to me than a single 90 minute episode. Thanks for what you’re doing!

I enjoyed the interview with Joe Desena. Hopefully this will help calm the hysteria in the community. My opinion is that this is a good thing and can make Tough Mudder better and I don’t think Mudders will have to do burpees. I would love to see Joe run at WTM.

Will I really appreciate what you do. As an enthusiast of the sport and an average OCR athlete just hoping to be near a 40+ podium, I would rather watch the elites take on a championship race than watch the Super Bowl. I love the elite coverage and am so happy you’ve started this podcast. Great stuff!! 6 STARS

Love the new show and spreading out to the Spartan brand. Let me say first and foremost I love Tough Mudder. It is by far my favorite OCR experience. I ran my first WTM this past year in ATL and ran 50 miles. With that said I sure hope TM doesn’t go away, but I am afraid based on their recent moves I’m afraid the pieces are in place for this to potentially happen. Hunter McIntyre mentioned on his podcast that TM would probably be bankrupt by mid year. I know he is a bit brash and off the cuff, but with the recent news of cash payouts not getting to athletes and then being cancelled for the forthcoming year, he may be on to something. Also, can you talk about their lawsuit currently going on for the event cancellation and how TM said they were splitting to transfer their assets to TM Bootcamp? Sounds like a move to keep their assets and file bankruptcy with as little consequence as possible. Plus Will Dean is practically out of the picture now. Nolan and Eli are pretty much the faces while Will is out making a new company. You’re as invested as anyone into WTM, you made a podcast on it. Just hope the enjoyment of so many in the TM community doesn’t fall so easily and quickly. Thanks, Joe Lee

Quick, informative and a nice array of interviews. You guys even mentioned that the reason TM did away with prize money is because of finances. I think that’s actually the number one reason and I wish more media sources would go into that. They still have Podium winners from last year waiting for payouts so it makes sense it would be about finances. Overall, I enjoyed the podcast. No fluff went straight into the meat of the topic and it made for an enjoyable ride to work.

Finally, have some more great content to work out and run to, while WTP gets cranked back up. Thx Will for all the work! AtlantaJay
