Starting a business has been extremely hard, not knowing where to go, or who to have as the person to look up to for help on certain ideas and things that I need. I’ve been in business since 2009 and have just like you changed my business name and what I was doing multiple times until I found the right one. I resonate so much with your story and I’m so glad that I found you by accident on TikTok and now you are my favorite creator on podcast and YouTube and Instagram as well as TikTok. Just discovered this podcast and I have listened in to QUITE a few in recent weeks as I am looking to change some big things in life. I have had a regular job in health care and the idea of creating my own business is so radical compared to my previous way of life. But I’m doing this, while also a mommy to a toddler, separating from my partner, and still working my regular job. Frankly, I don’t have time for BS and so I really appreciate the down to earth attitude, specific guidance on various topics, and cheerleading. As a SAHM of 3 girls, who also homeschools, it would seem that I don’t have much in common with Jessica. However, listening to the info and advice she has resonates with me deeply! With other creators/influencers/speakers, content is content is content and it sounds like you’re on a hamster wheel of the same info different day, but Jessica brings her own flavor to the mix, doesn’t just repeat the same ol’- same ol’ info in the same way. Wow is all i can say about this podcast. Jessica I love you and everything you talk about. I find myself thinking yup that sounds like my life and being incredibly grateful for everything I’ve learned. I currently just got done with building a business with kids at home and at one point you said you can’t compare yourself to someone who is doing the same thing without kids and that really spoke to me! I never looked at it that way. I work full time from home as well as own my photography business and my kids are home so that episode was definitely one I needed! Thank you!!
