RupertPupkin695 ⭐️’sAs a Caps fan, I had to put my bias to the side knowing one of the hosts roots for the Hurricanes. This show is really great and gives you everything you need DMB related

JTDosch7Great ListenA great listen if you want to hear 2 die hard fans just gush about their favorite artist. They bring it great guests who help to add a depth to the podcast. You can tell Bruce and Nolan are true fans.
-
DashbordAwesome listenI really enjoy this show. Will be a regular listener from now on. Life is good!

sohanihani36⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Bruce and Nolan are not just two of the most knowledgeable DMB fans in the land, but they also consistently break big DMB news for diehard fans and bring the community great interviews. As a friend who likes to poke fun and give these guys a lot of grief I hate to admit they’re pretty good at this interviewing thing. In 2024 alone, these guys have interviewed Steve Lillywhite, Cory Wong, Rick Mitaratonda, and Ari Fink with surely more big guests on the way. They also frequently feature the voices of fans within the community, and I’ve been lucky enough to be asked on the podcast by the guys along with many other much more prominent figures in the DMB fan community. I guess if I had one complaint it’s that they don’t do more episodes. Great work fellas 👏 A must listen to podcast if you’re a geek about all things DMB.

RockindanThe Best DMB Podcast Out ThereIf you’re a fan of DMB then this podcast is for you. These guys have great content and fantastic guests. Give them a try and you will not be disappointed.

swb1003These guys got somethin to sayBruce & Nolan & crew provide such enjoyable, if not divisive, commentary to the DMB community. It’s invaluable, there’s few other podcasts like it. They clearly love their work and it shows, 10/10 pod. Keep it up gang!

TedD41Littered with left politicsFanboy Nolan regarding people giving reviews based on their (constant) political opinions: “Go find something better to do with your time than write one star reviews on a DMB podcast. Grow up.” (while Bruce giggles) Nobody came here to hear your amateur liberal political takes fellas. Sorry to break it to you. Also on a somewhat related topic, Nolan adds little to no value. Total tagalong.

UebbingNolan = unbearable fanboyI’ve listened to this off and on over the years and there has never been a time when I valued Nolan’s takes. I just got done listening to the album review which most would agree(and stats back up) is one of DMB’s most mediocre albums. He contradicts himself saying he wished more sax, Tim, and drums but saying the solo songs were unbelievable even comparing him to John Lennon and the Beatles. He seems clueless about music, brings in politics way too much, and drones on. Bruce, on the other hand, is not afraid to offer criticism and I appreciated his dissection.

mmsmqBecause you brought it up…Only because you brought it up, I’ll go ahead and toss you a one-star rating for using a DMB podcast to hurl political jabs. Not sure how implying that folks who disagree with you on gun control are “insane” or that people who disagree with Dave on environmental issues are not “using their brain” is helpful or advancing the interests of your podcast.

e_roc_str8Love the podcastJust found this podcast. I love it. It’s refreshing to hear others talk about the best band around. Love hearing the opinions of fans, talking about set lists from older shows and newer shows.

DashubusTCOGS Fills A Much Needed VoidNolan and Bruce do a really nice job with their podcasts, and they do one not just to blabber about but when there are relevant and newsworthy happenings around DMB. Also, they’re not afraid to be critical; they’re not just a bunch of ball washing sycophants and I appreciate that. If you’re a fan of anything, you have to be as impartial as you can be, and they do a great job with that 👌🏻👌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻.

dwm83Perfect DMB podcast for crazed fans! This podcast is amazing, especially if you are a die hard. Let’s face it we have all heard how many times have you seen them and get the weird looks. Nolan and Bruce break everything down from versions of the songs to set list placement and more. This is what most of us look at and talk about with our dmb friends. They are truly fans like us. Had a chance to meet them at the Raleigh show (wife pregnant at home reason I wasn’t following everyone to Charlotte 😉) they are as great in person as they come across on this podcast. Great work guys, keep it up!! Dan

MJM-2Skip the politicsCould deal without the liberal politics. Just talk about the band. I miss the podcast with the guys from ants- they kept it on topic

Csr909Great PodcastGreat podcast for all things DMB. Their episodes give insight and contain information and highlights of the band’s career that only long time fans would know. I’ve particularly enjoyed the episodes where they have highlighted performances in the bands history from certain venues, like SPAC.

Mel CarpEpisode 22Randomly listened to episode 22 for the 1st time ..Unfortunately first 5 min of this was very somber and not what I was expecting... 👎🏼
-
skeetersisterThe best of what’s aroundI thought I had FOMO after looking at the set lists from the Riviera Maya shows and then I listened to the recap on your show. Love hearing the highlights, your take on the song selections, and everywhere you’re taking us on this joyride. Thanks guys.

thanksCMB!The Corner of Grey Street is tBOWANolan and Bruce do a really great job capturing life as a DMB fan in 2020. We all wish LeRoi was still alive and Boyd/a violin was still a part of the picture, but these guys recognize and celebrate that despite its flaws, DMB is still a gift and a huge part of summer for so many of us. Their setlist recaps are always fun, and the way they add in some audio highlights is like a nice CliffNotes substitute for downloading and listening to entire shows. My personal favorite is when they do "This week/today in DMB history" with in-depth retrospectives of standout shows from the past. The 8/14/07 one is a personal favorite. Keep up the good work, guys!

Sean Matthew McCormickHelping rekindle my love for DMBThis podcast is a great gateway back into the world of Dave Matthews Band while also providing a thorough account of important dates in DMB history. Love tuning in every week!

BullnuckCan't Get Enough! This is the kind of DMB podcast I've been searching for! I have listened to most of the the other DMB podcasts out there, and these guys get it right! Bruce and Nolan have the perfect attitude toward the band - they don't love every song/setlist decision, and are not afraid to be critical, but they also keep a positive attitude and are cognisant of the fact that although we don't always love everything the band does, we still follow them because the 'highs' more than make up for the occasional 'lows'. It's genuinely enjoyable to listen to them voice their opinions (good and bad!) They also have the perfect balance of discussion between historical setlists, and present day tour talk/recap. I love that they pick a "this day in DMB history" show and talk over the setlist, and play highlight clips from taper recordings! They're also always quick to credit the tapers for all their hard work (thank you, tapers!) Really hoping these guys keep podcasts consistently coming out as we approach the tour off-season. Keep it coming, guys! I can't get enough!
-
G XanderFantastic PodcastI love how they play clips and sometimes entire songs. Both hosts are well spoken and have good voices. Sound quality is great. Going through the setlists is such a cool way to kinda vicariously experience the different tour dates. Alex Day was a phenomenal guest. Obviously his experience was incredible, but he also was very well spoken. So proud of how he handled the encounter (not asking for pics etc). Keep up the great work dudes.

AntsPartyof5From one DMB fan to anotherThank you Bruce and Nolan for your love and commitment to DMB and this, fantastic, podcast. I have enjoyed all 11 episodes and look forward to the next bazillion more! If you love Dave and want to know that you are not alone in your fandom, check out this podcast! 🐜❤️🐜❤️🐜❤️

Magic Mul MulQuality dmb info and enjoyable opinionsListened to the first 2 episodes and had to write a review. It’s a great relief to hear their perspective. They fall in between the obnoxious dmb complainers and the blind homer. Hearing snippets from shows is enjoyable and it’s great to hear another opinion about songs I hate/enjoy. I’ve been obsessed with dmb since ‘99 while in high school and catch 2-3 shows a year. Give this poddy a listen if you enjoy Dave and the boys. Keep on doin whatcha doin.
-
MGoBlueDMBAwesome podcastThese guys give a great synopsis of all the shows complete with a few snippets of songs. They have great knowledge of the band in the songs. Whether you’re a hard-core DMB fan or just a casual listener please give these guys a listen! I know will!! Keep up the great work!!
-

F1FTY50Big Fan!I am glad to have jumped in on this at the beginning. I like that even though it’s clear you don’t love every song or show you seem to stay positive. I live in Syracuse, NY so SPAC was my home venue for years, but now we have our own. It’s a great place for shows. Beautiful view and now the have worked the bugs out so hopefully the band returns next year to make up for the messy parking and getting into the show situation from last year. Keep up the good work guys! See everyone at SPAC in a couple weeks!
-
LowedanLoving itYou guys have been following the band almost as long as I have. You don’t crap all over everything they do which seems to be popular these days but you give honest, thoughtful opinions on where things are, both good and bad. Just good, fun, discussion about the greatest band in all the land. Keep doing what you’re doing!
-
heybertoFor anyone, by true fansWhat’s great is how they approach the podcast. They break down what’s currently happening on tour, give you snippets of standout parts fo the previous week’s live performance, place it all against context from past tours.. all from a fan’s perspective. So whether you want to know where to find some standouts, or you’re new and want to find out more about the band’s catalog and history, tune in here.
-
n8will25Episode 2Love it! What’s the over under Boyd comes back......
-
mkesubwayMehThey came on the DMB scene in around 2003. They love the band. The cast is basically them talking about shows they’ve attended (or watched on DVD) and then they list songs recently played while looking at DMBAlmanac. Maybe it’ll get better, but I probably won’t stick with it to find out.
-
Kd567Dave AficionadosThese guys are OG DMB fans and this podcast is awesome! Great way to keep up with the current tour, and hear some great stories from two true fans. Love it y’all!
