No communication from their part at all. You can be very overwhelmed with life but who isn’t! The reality is you don’t hear everyone complain

I’ve listened since day 1 and was so excited about this but it seems like they don’t care anymore and the show is nowhere near a priority. It has been 2 weeks with no show and no communication. Moving on to other podcasts that consistently post shows and talk about topics that matter. There is no depth anymore and every show seems thrown together. If it isn’t important just quit doing it, plenty of other revenue streams that seem like they take priority over the show now. No updates and no show, why does social say you are a host of a show and there is no show?🤔

Listened off and on since the beginning. Aside from podcast quality and drive declining, they just disappeared earlier this year, I get it, life comes at you fast. But they just up and took a break with zero communication? They came back for one episode (after a small uproar from their private Facebook group) to say they’d be gone for a while longer. What’s worse is that they’ve continued to charge/take monthly fees from their private club/listeners? Seems like the epitome of shady business practices. If you’re done with The Upside, just be done with it and stop taking people’s money.

They took a hiatus from the podcast with very little communication, but continued to take money from listeners who are hoard members without sending them products or producing the show. What are they paying for? If you’re ok with disappearing hosts that don’t communicate about it, go for it. Podcast itself was ok when it was really up and running.

I have followed Jeff since his days at The Bert Show and I have to say, it feels so right to have you behind the microphone again, Jeff. This is what you were born to do and having Callie by your side makes it that much better. After listening to the first episode, I know this will be successful because I heard the excitement in Jeff’s voice. An excitement that I haven’t heard in some time. I love the platform and am so excited that you both can create your own space. Looking forward to the future and The Upside. Update: I still love the show! And can’t wait until baby Dauler makes her debut. Update update: I’m so happy both baby Daulers are here. After going through infertility and IVF, I felt so connected with Callie’s story. I hope the family of four is taking some peaceful time to be together and I look forward to the show resuming at some capacity in the future.

Not what it used to be, and will be completely irrelevant to you if you’re not familiar with the male host’s Atlanta radio history. This couple can be quite tone deaf at times, listing out all their life problems living in a nice Atlanta suburb, getting their parents to babysit, Botox, poor self image and how taxing working from home is for both of them. I really don’t know who their audience is besides those who were big Jeff fans when he was on star. The show makes no sense anymore.

I miss the podcast, but am so grateful that you are able to take time off from it to focus on other important things. I’ll be here when you come back and in the meantime, I’ll start listening to old episodes. I feel like you are family/friends. Take all the time you need.

Like many podcasts this one has disappeared. It is really hard to have a successful podcast especially post Covid when EVERYONE started podcasts. They should be proud to have made it five years.

It was good run, but they have run the Upside into the ground. The Upside has become a place for them to advertise their company and listen to Callie’s entitlement. It doesn’t have life anymore.

I look forward to listening to this podcast. Callie is absolutely authentic and real. Jeff is a kind human being and he will make you laugh. It’s my favorite podcast!

Disappointed with how Callie and Jeff have handled their podcast the past 6 months. I would think most people are supportive of them taking a break from the podcast. But how they went about it and the lack of communication was disappointing and unprofessional. This podcast has been very low priority for them for awhile now.

Just over it. tried to support time after time. But the hiatus and possibly going to a pay only membership. Not a fan of. Tired of fake upside and privilege people complaining. They took a break. I get it. But even when family members died it wasn’t this big of a break. And not to mention someone is always crying. Just over it. I stopped supporting the ads and them. It’s just messy and there are so many other podcast out there to support and don’t deal with drama and narcistic host. Such a shame Jeff left the Bert show and went down this path. And not to mention always throwing Bert’s name into episodes. Just over it.

How rude to just leave people hanging and not addressing why you aren’t on. I hope your viewers are done with you.

Inconsistent uploads, a narcissistic female co-host, and a show in general that is confusing with what they are trying to be. Is it the upside or a show that constantly discusses the negative issues of their life… all while the female co-host tries to focus everything on to “her life” … as if she’s the only one dealing with the usual issues of life. Callie downplays everything her co-host/husband Jeff says. If he focuses at all on his own health, she brings up her pregnancy and labor/delivery events that happened. News flash, women are designed for pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Your husband needing a heart ablation is not a normally occurring event. Pregnancy can have issues… and does for many women at times, but can’t you just let him have a minute to discuss his health without bringing your pregnancy into it? Let him have one moment of worry. Do you seriously have to compare every concern he has to your pregnancy in an effort to explain how you had or have more to worry about? Get over yourself. I am definitely over this show. Jeff Dauler, you must be a saint at heart to deal with your wife’s constant issues.

I just read through a lot of bad reviews and maybe I’m different but I really love this podcast and have for so many years. I love hearing about their baby and Ellie and what’s going on in their life. People are very critical and so easy to leave a bad review. I love you guys and would love to meet you all one day!

You realize you have people who like both Jeff and Bert? So over the little digs here and there. Let it go

I just don’t hear anything that I haven’t heard before on this show. They are clearly prioritizing their network over their show, which is disappointing to the people who got them to where they are. I popped back in to see if the new year would bring new content, but they literally started 2024 the exact same way they started their last revamp - “this will be Callie’s story”. I don’t even know what that means, with a show like this, particularly when they’ve said it before. They are both immature and act like everything they say is genius. Generally boring.

My favorite thing about this podcast has always been its authenticity, and that continues. If you’ve never been through fertility struggles, high risk pregnancy, or birth trauma, then good for you—but these issues are real, Callie brings them to light in important ways, and gaslighting women for sharing their medical trauma is shameful. Perhaps maternal mortality rates would look so much better if we listened to women and these imperative times.

NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOUR BABY!

The bills must be due this week. The fact that you’re so angry at an MD and making accusations against a MD is disgusting. You’re looking for a payday from the hospital or the doctor. Absolutely disgusting that you are trying to profit off your child. Stop podcasting and try to enjoy the time with your one week old baby.

I was a huge fan of Jeff from the Bert Show days so, as a fan, I became an Upside listener when the podcast was launched. Over time, the show’s focus leaned less on Jeff and more on Callie and I’ve tried to give her so many chances, but she’s just so self absorbed, and I just can’t any longer. Especially with the new format where the sole focus is on Callie. Perhaps Jeff will consider launching his own podcast someday.

These are 2 of the most annoying, self-important people I’ve ever listened to. Callie gives off pick-me-girl vibes and seems to crave attention. Jeff is phony and his voice is like nails on a chalkboard. These two deserve each other.

Not great.. at all.

I’ve been following the show since the beginning because of Jeff because I followed him years before on the radio. The show started great but over time it has been repetitive and now it’s all about Callie which is annoying because she seems to complain about everything. It used to be funny with the things they would do but that never lasted and they just talk about the same stuff over and over. They used to play inspirational quotes or life advice at the end of the show and that just stopped one day. Not sure it’s gonna get better but may hang in there a little longer before I stop!

Edited to add: In January of 2024 the show is now rebranded & should be called “the Callie show”. It’s geared toward women to “be their own boss” and “business women” or “Business owners”. It’s as if TenTwentyTwo isn’t even owned by 2 people. Jeff Dauler no longer exists but in the world of Callie. It’s so very sad, seeing how the ENTIRE original fan base was from Jeff’s time in radio. The show is now, gone for me forever. I’ll miss ya, Jeff! You were a part of my “listening life” for over 20 years. As a long time listener to Jeff from Atlanta, changing my 5 star to a 2 is so sad for me. The Podcast has changed, Callie is constantly talking as if she’s better than the world, complaining about weight gain & putting Jeff down left and right. Jeff shouldn’t have to defend himself or his “size” or shirt choices constantly. I haven’t listened but once in 3 weeks, it was my first podcast of the morning for over 2 years. Still a member of the Horde - still pay my $5 because I believe in Jeff… I know Callie is his wife, but some podcasts aren’t meant for couples to mic together. Own Ten Twenty-Two Projects together, but fix the show before it’s gone for me forever :(

The first few years of the upside were great. Great content, very uplifting daily podcast. You can really tell it is no longer their priority. The episodes are released sporadically, and they’re short, sometimes about 20 minutes where 5 are ads and 5 are them talking about potty training or worse, they put their kid on the mic. I came to listen to adults talk not baby babble. They say they’re working on getting it together next year and I hope so.

I was a very big fan of this podcast for years until I disagreed with an opinion presented. I then received a series of scathing private messages from Jeff.

They've been slipping lately...it has been delayed in uploading daily and then we keep getting ghosted a lot. There hasn't been a show uploaded the past 2 days but we can see them both active on social media posting. Maybe change your advertising if you aren't going to be a daily show anymore? You have listeners who have been around since the beginning. You've become a part of our daily life and it's annoying when you guys just decide not to do an episode with no heads up.

I have listened to the Upside as part of my morning routine since the very first episode. Callie and Jeff feel like my friends and I love hearing about what is going on in their world!

I can’t BELIEVE you guys have never been at the Orchard in Blue Ridge ! One of the GA highlights for sure ! While you are there DO NOT miss out on their Apple bread , it’s out of this world ! Don’t forget to go into town and take Ellie on a train ride , it’s the cutest place with great restaurants ever !

I liked the show at first, but to be honest I lost interest with their relationship aspect fast. I felt like they were never on the same page, and if I want to hear tension in a marriage I can listen to mine own. And I thought they were a little naive about world views & day to day tasks…maybe that’s for content? It’s not for me.

Listener since Day 1!!! Love these two, and EJ!! I start each day with them and replay my favorite shows if they’re on vacay or take a day off!! Love the affect on my life that actually writing down what I am grateful for first thing every morning, has had !! It is true, I promise you, just try it!! Total mindset reset!! Keep doing what you guys are doing, I appreciate you !!

Yes, you guys are lazy. Don’t post at consistent time, take days off randomly without any communication to your listeners, barely have any segments that are more than your dribble. If I was planning to start my podcast I would never hire you- because you own product (which should be your baby and pride and joy) is neglected, malnourished and lifeless.

Been listening off and on since the podcast started, but just recently became an avid daily listener. I sincerely appreciate this show and the sincerity and candor. Reminds me that nothing is perfect all the time, and I love that. Thank you Callie and Jeff for keeping it real.

I’ve tried over the years to listen and support but I find them boring and uninspiring. They’ve become more and more negative as time goes on. How can two people talk about daily life when they never do anything interesting? I have no idea what their focus is as they are all over (I can tell you they are not uplifting and positive) I highly recommend callie takes some kind of voice training as her natural voice is like nails on a chalkboard. I think it’s time to give it up and focus on producing other shows.

I don’t even know what else to say. Anymore if I listen to a few minutes of his podcast I’m disgusted or just depressed. If I want to hear about an “upside” from now on I’ll continue listening to Jay Shetty and the like.

Love the podcast! Have listened from beginning and I start my work day every morning with The Upside. Have followed Jeff since TBS and Callie is an added bonus! Keep moving forward!

I am happy for your news on the embryos but there are people out there that have gone through IVF but do not get good news and the jokes about trying multiple times, closing shop, etc. I feel that since you are going through this journey that you would be more considerate to people who could not get to that place.

Good topics and interesting ideas, but I’m constantly distracted by the amount of times Callie is interrupted while she is speaking. It’d be much easier to follow along if she can have the space to finish her thoughts and then continue the conversation together. The constant “can I just say something really quick” from Jeff can be distracting and then my mind wanders off and it’s hard to come back to the podcast.

This podcast is an easy listen, but there is not much substance. And I can’t figure out the niche either. Lifestyle? Parenting? Podcast consultant? Small business owners? Mental health? It doesn’t feel like their original brand of “Upside” is a great fit anymore.

I feel like every so often, negative reviews are being deleted, so I am sure this will only be posted for a matter of time. I use to be a daily listener, and it was my morning routine to listen first thing. I started noticing I was feeling “ick” and negative— it was a result of listening to all the complaining in the morning. I still can’t believe this podcast is being produced daily. You have gotten away from your goal in mind with all the self-indulgent whining, and Callie’s tone with Jeff. Callie, please keep in mind, most of your listeners started with this podcast because of Jeff; you are not interesting enough to listen to every day. Unfortunately, without a cast of co-hosts, Jeff isn’t either.

I recently started listening to this podcast. I love it. It truly feels like you’re talking with your friends. I’m going back to episode 1 and listening to all the episodes. I’ll also be telling my friends!

Obnoxious, unfunny, self-indulgent….. and Callie’s vocal fry is truly revolting.

This podcast is pretty boring and is about everyday things talked about every single day.
