I listen to several versions of 2nd Date Update. This show is similar to the one from KISS 95.7 in Hartford in that one of the hosts adds nothing. Corey’s weird theories about why the caller was being ghosted are stupid and not funny. Walmart Jeff from the other show makes crude sexual remarks that are also stupid and not funny.

Both Marcus and Corey make cringe worthy comments. Especially Corey’s theories. Like the concept of the segment, but they’re difficult to listen. Just focus on the daters

I generally enjoy listening to 2nd Date Update but Corey theories on why someone is getting ghosted is morbid n not cool. I wish she can stop with her date line or what might happen to the other person

Marcus needs to learn when to stop talking and some new lines, other wise great show

Don't people know that words have power? There is no need to curse people with your morbid theories about why they aren't responding. They aren't cute, not funny, and not clever. Don't speculate people's absence if you can't use your words for good. There is a reason for the saying "If you can't say anything nice, don't speak at all"

I don’t enjoy listening to Corrie. Her comments are just ridiculous and so is her saying “I need a shower now “. Foolish. Marcus stop using the word sprung…I mean really!

I love listening to the second date updates! My only complaint is I hear the song start and then it cuts to the second part. I get why, but I get all excited for the song and then nothing lol

Boring, hosts cut off the callers way too much

I’ve been listening to a lot of second date update Podcasts. These two are always pretty entertaining; more-so the stories over anything else. But these two are pretty inclusive in open minded when it comes to their opinions. Overall, I enjoy listening to their podcasts on the way to work in the mornings. Marcus 100% makes the show what it is.

Simple, funny and consistent

Both hosts need to be authentic. Marcus has such a slick and phoney manner of speech; the lilt of his voice is so put on, that it’s really annoying; he tries way too hard. There is no humor to the podcast at all. It also cuts off early.

Listen everyday at work. Two great personalities and that work so well together. Easy listening hands down!

I don’t like that Marcus is so conservative and doesn’t let the drama play out. They’re so quick to cut people off and just say “ Hang on- hang on” . Don’t call yourself the peoples favorite second date update because there are people that do it way better. You’re decent, but you need to treat it more like Jerry springer and less NPR

I obsessively listen to 2nd date updates and War of the Roses on all stations. So much so that Podcasts randomly suggested this station. Every Roses and 2nd date update comes from different stations. I would say the other stations are stealing their but the other stations dates are before this shows. I heard the one first one and was like coincidence. Second one ummm maybe not so much so. I listened to the one when the pair went on a sushi date and knew she was hoing to put ketchup on it before I listened and sho enuff she put ketchup on the sushi but the tripper is the commentary is word for word. The guy was called and said “I’m pretending to work anyway I might as well…” same exact words list to Marcus and Corey June 27 episode.

Unbearably boring

I listen to several different podcasts of all different station’s Second Date Update. You guys have the best. Other station’s stories sound fake and have so much chaos and too many people laughing and screaming in the background. It’s so obnoxious. You guys do a great job and get to the point. Keep up the great job! I love that you do it daily, too. It really is the best segment.

I love listening to this podcast, while doing ANYTHING! I don’t understand why people don’t like it 🤨⁉️

If it weren’t for the guy in the background fake laughing at almost EVERYTHING I’d give you five stars. My girlfriend and I have turned off you podcast because of him. Tell him to lose the fake laughing for gawd’s sake.

STOP WITH THE REPEATS .

I tried very hard to give this channel a chance but they cut off the stories soooooo often that it’s just become annoying. There are past reviews with the same issue so clearly they know and they just don’t care. Unsubscribing, there are too many others that do it better. If you’re looking for better content look up Johnjay and Rich or Brooke and Jeffrey.

Some episodes just end before they even call the other person? Other episodes cut off before the conversation even ends, and then some episodes are just straight repeats with a different title.

Radio host puts politeness first and foremost But other Radio stations prioritize entertainment and put politeness in the back seat. The bottom line is The competitors shows are funnier and more entertaining. It’s still good though....about average

Is someone chewing gum because I keep hearing smacking every episode and it’s disgusting. Why would you chew into a mic

I listen to several sdu podcasts This one is not the best.

Great show but the fact that the podcasts end before the conversations have finished is irritating.

I love the show. Marcus is my favorite because he’s always a little more awkward. I can only see this segment getting better.

I hate how the podcast ends in the middle of a conversation with the daters. This could be better!
