Lost LynoreUsed to love this...February 14, 2025: I've been listening to this show for a few years now, and up until now, it's always been my favorite astrology podcast. Adam's way of talking about astrology is refreshing and takes a different tack than most, I really enjoy it. However, in light of current events, I find it increasingly troubling that he stays silent on things going on in our country, that affect people on a massive scale. A man with two daughters and a wife that he purportedly loves, a man with a 70% female audience, a man who co-hosts with women and queerfolk, a man who can take advantage of the money that the 70% female viewership brings, but cannot bring himself to stand up and say something on his platform, with his yt male privelege, in support and defense of women, people of color and queerfolk DYING and suffering all across this country...does this man really deserve our continued support, financial and otherwise, when he refuses to use his platform and privelege to speak out about injustice? Maybe it's time that we start listening only to women astrologers who speak up, until the men stand up and start talking. ✌️

alongcomesmaryGreat AstroI so enjoy Adam's perspective on Astrology! He's quite personable and weaves in his other spiritual experiences and studies so well to this podcast. What transmits is someone with a wealth of knowledge - who is a dedicated teacher and student- also with a sense of humor. I appreciate that this show goes deeper than "pop astro" into archetypal & philosophical themes. Also love the guests! I've been a listener for abt 3 years now, so my review is overdue. Thanks Nightlight!

Rey42384Best Astro PodcastThis is a wonderful podcast to really get knee deep into astrology, actively following the show helps you gain a better understanding of not only the archetypes but how astrology can weave together a pattern and a story. Adam is eloquent with how he blends mysticism with pragmatism and it’s much appreciated!!! Recommended for intermediate learners and advanced learners, but if you’re just beginning then you’ll learn more soon enough by following the show! Love love this podcast.

moondancingfoolVery supportive guidanceExcellent insight and wisdom shared on nearly a daily basis to help guide us. Very much appreciated.

Rivi121Clear, enjoyable and to the point but too much adsI love hearing the transit updates their so on point and I really enjoy his way of speaking and humor:) Update - I removed one star because his ads are crawling on my nerves a bit. It’s just too much and too long, why not put it at the end ??
-
tylerbluemAstrology C-SPANThis is a great, straightforward, no non-sense approach to astrology that so many people will find calming and exactly what they’re looking for. If you prefer a more dynamic, anecdotal approach with real-life examples and application, then look elsewhere.

unehistoiredeplageDefinitely one of the better astrologers you’ll findI have been into astrology for well over 30 years and know quite a bit about it myself. I find this podcast illuminating, intelligent, and spot on. His delivery is clear, easy to understand, calm, and genuinely helpful. if you are into astrology that should definitely be on your rotation.

a professional astrologerI adore AdamThis is one of the most delightful listens every time— Adam’s open heart, humility, joy, and innocence shines so radiantly and lovingly. 🤍

J.P.7777I always listen to this podcast first !And I love the integration of I Ching and Tarot with the current astrological transits. I’m still learning Tarot but the I Ching has been part of my life for many years and finding any meaningful content that includes it has proven difficult.

DesignEmpireBeautiful storytelling and insights to real lifeI’m a new listener, and have found this podcast to be so patient and generous in information delivery. He will often tell stories as an example of what power can be obtained or felt through a transit, or through the influence of planetary current events. He is thoughtful and seems to appreciate all signs. I have been listening to this on my walks and have grown to really look forward to the content. Thank you for sharing your gift to the world! 💙🌌

qod2094Business and spirituality do not mixI found this podcast about six months ago and quickly became a regular listener via YouTube. I was impressed by Adam’s knowledge of ancient and Hellenistic astrology, and I appreciated the substance of this approach compared to much of the astrological content I had come across on YouTube prior. I delved into past content as well as following his new content, which follows a consistent five episode per week upload schedule. As the year wound down, he began his annual fundraising campaign. While I had habitually fast forwarded through his 4-8 minute promotional section of his classes and courses that begins every episode, the fundraising content got my attention more and more. There were days when he spent 10-12 minutes explaining his philosophies and personal practices to help the listeners become comfortable donating to help him reach his $200,000/1,777 backer goal on Kickstarter. The misgivings I’d had here and there as a consumer of his content begin to grow, and I realized that Adam was a business person with a business model, and that I was part of his business as a listener. Here are a few of my observations and thoughts: Spirituality is a major focus of Adam’s work, but I do not believe it is possible to serve two masters: the master of ever growing business, content creation, and internet prestige, as well as the master of humble spirituality practiced in one’s daily life, serving others. The two do not mix. No one should be in your ear every day. I realized that Adam’s voice was suddenly in mine every day except perhaps weekends, and I was increasingly receptive to and influenced by his views. While spirituality and business do not mix, Adam—and, to be fair, countless other people online—have struck gold with the ever unfolding and perpetual transits of astrology being fertile ground for the daily churning out of social media content. Given that he has such a packed content schedule, Adam often pads his content by reading lengthy passages from books by astrological authors he admires. This isn’t surprising given that five videos per week is certain burnout for any content creator. At the end of his frenetic pace of promotion of his Kickstarter campaign, he announced a month long break of his Instagram presence and a weeklong absence of podcast content. In the wake of huge fundraising success (nearly doubling his $200,000 goal) his listeners lavished him with praise, congratulations, and urges for him to take a hard earned break. From the beginning, Adam strongly reminded me of the men I’d grown up around in my Protestant upbringing, and I see clearly now that he truly is the son of a preacher, and he has never stopped being a teacher and leader long enough to be a student and a servant, never been silently listening long enough to experience the value in not transforming one’s thoughts and experiences into authority, achievement, and profit. I will no longer be a listener of this podcast, and I write this so that others may be prompted to consider what place it (and others like it) has in their life. Many astrological and “spiritual” content creators are simple the latest evolution of the TV evangelists in the 1980’s, who were evolutions of the tent revival preachers before them. This has been a sobering reminder to me to look at a person’s actions, not just listen to their words, and not to allow any person to gain such an influential foothold in my mind.

playyardClick, like, subscribeIt has taken me quite some time to finally write this review but after audibly laughing when he started campaigning for his Kickstarter this year and begged for donations partly because he spends a lot of time policing his comment section on YouTube, I knew it was time. I listened to his channel everyday for a few years and followed him on Instagram. Adam decided to answer anonymous questions on Instagram and a few of them were concerns over his Kickstarter because he very clearly (from showing his home, extensive expensive shoe collection, VERY nice car and his travels) does not in fact NEED anymore money to “support his family.” He began to throw a temper tantrum, accusing people of stalking him, blocking people from viewing his channel and claiming he had a right to make as much money as he can off of his viewers. We are part of his business model (click , like and subscribe...it helps the channel grow! Aka, it makes him more money) While watching one of his live readings I saw him take a ten dollar donation to his channel and deny some guy a reading because it wasn’t given to his Kickstarter. The viewer just wanted to seen by someone that claims to be “spiritual guide.” He put this kids money in his pocket and sent him on his way! It reeked of greed. And here we are a year later and he states at the beginning of each episode that he takes a huge risk taking the time to create content not knowing if he will be heavily rewarded at the end of the year. He’s rewarded when YouTube pays him for us watching the videos (so his content is very much not free) he is rewarded when people wait a year to pay $400 for a reading, he’s rewarded when people take the class he promotes at the beginning of EVERY episode. Sometime is seems like him promoting himself is longer than the content. How much do you actually need Adam? Are we so far into late stage capitalism that we cannot distinguish between a want and a need? How much time can you monetize of ours on every video we decide to watch and still not be satisfied? The last 40 days of the year is him in this weird competition with himself to beat the amount of donations he made the year before, with a touch of manipulation for the viewer...YOU owe this to him because he meditates in the morning and eats well in order to produce content...um, what?? I have donated in the past but obviously won’t be this year. But I will be buying a winter coat for a child because that is someone that really needs it.

Kac372Nice showThis is a nice listen. Interesting astrology viewpoint. Not too long if you want a quicker listen. Adam seems like a genuinely nice person with a pleasant voice. I like the I Ching and tarot and he incorporates it. There is about 10 mins of promotion at the beginning of every single show though

Mamabear RMad propsThe amount of content and his brilliance is overwhelming! Very approachable, compassionate and funny dude. Happy to be partaking in this astrology SOCIETY!!!!!!

DME_SkiReally Appreciate Adam’s Honesty, Vulnerability and MoreI initially didn’t take to Adam’s work. I don’t know why. However, I recently listened to his talk with fellow astrologer Chris Brennan on Fate and it was fantastic. There seemed to be something different too about Adam. When I went to his channel and began listening to his latest creations I really enjoyed them. I decided to go back in time to some older creations and I felt that strange feeling inside of me again when I first came upon him. Again, I had no idea what it was. Then I listened to his talk on why he changed back to his given name, as well to one of his shows answering questions. I had no idea the journey he had been on these last few years. From leaving a way of living that eventually he left even though he admired it to changes in his physical appearance and the reasons for that. I’m surprised some people got on his case about such things. None of us has the right to demand people to be other than who they are. I think he’s amazing for even sharing such deep parts of his journey with us. In any case, I think he not only looks so much healthier physically, but he seems healthier within himself. I don’t really know how best to explain it but it’s along these lines - what he shares has always been deep and important, yet this last year or so, the energy that’s coming forth from him is way more stronger and powerful. Almost like the sense of strength one gains from standing deeply in their own truth. Good for him. I most certainly wish him, his lovely wife and his children all the very best. I think we are personally blessed to have people like them in the world sharing the way they do even if others don’t like it.

elizagren1Healing advice for Cancer new moonI enjoy your podcast very much! Hawthorne is the perfect herb for this phase, but it is an herb that needs to be used long term for real heart issues, it’s not a fast acting herb. Thank you!
-
beautifuloverSales pitchyThe sales pitch in front of every podcast is killing me. It’s so long, the same every episode, no music to break it up. Please stop with the sales pitches and get more creative about it. It devalues the content.
-
The money has been sentGreat!Really appreciate the traditional approach he uses in a sea of modern astrology content that is less desirable to me now that I’ve been learning Hellenistic astrology. I like the frequent shorter episodes. They are well thought out and clearly communicated. Adam is a likable storyteller and teacher and shares personal stories in a useful way to convey the topics. This has quickly become my fav astrology pod.

Tasha the GreatThis community means the world to meI love the information and presentation that Adam shares with us. Finding this channel has greatly impacted mine and my children’s lives. There is so much knowledge and peace shared here. Thank you 💕

SLWSGAThroat Clearing & Business Portion of PodcastWhen looking for a podcast of this type, this show came very highly recommended. Over the months that I’ve tuned in, I’ve noticed that the pre-podcast advertisement and business outreach has a more extended part of the opening of each broadcast. Starting with the ‘like and subscribe’ and the ‘fundraising’ part of things sometimes impacts the overall reception of information. I know this type of thing is crucial as this is a business-your livelihood-but it’s a bit of a distraction from the listener’s perspective. Also, the constant throat clearing is somewhat off putting. Please forgive me if it’s a result of a medical condition, but it does create disruption to the listening experience. I enjoy listening and will continue to do so, but just wanted to share my thoughts as a listener. Thank You!

Aaaggg888Exquisite interpretation of the symbologyThank you so much for educating us on the context and history of astrology, peppering in stories, and weaving it all together with deep and resonant interpretations of the symbology. So balanced and enriching! Thank you for sharing your gifts!

LambdaMan82Life Changing Accessible AstrologyI’ve been listening to Adam’s podcast and YouTube channel for years because of how much I appreciate his relatable and yet expansive explanations of how the astrological and cosmic happenings relate to each of us in deeply personal and life enriching ways. He shares a wellspring of personal experiences, knowledge about astrology and spiritual wisdom in ways that help the listener feel like we’re not alone in this complex, often times challenging and yet incredibly beautiful journey of life. I highly recommend this podcast not only for those seeking to become more conscious of how to work with the Universal energies unfolding in our lives every day, but also for anyone interested in the possibility of using and experiencing these developments as opportunities for personal and spiritual growth and evolution. Thanks Adam for all the work that you do, it’s changing lives in deeply positive and loving ways.

artofyoga815galleryWell organized and thoughtful explanations without biasThere are lots of great things about this podcast, but what I most appreciate is his ability to explain essential dignity and planetary placements without any bias or judgement. Instead, he gives the technical and rational explanation for the archetypal energy and never resorts to stereotypes alone. Well researched and no bias — especially loved the Venus in Virgo episode for this reason. Loved his examples of Virgo moving into Mercury’s house and interaction between Venus in fall in Vigo and Mercury in fall in Pisces.

GamerchkGreat Lessons for Astrology and LifeAyuta offers a spiritual perspective as well as astrological insights. I have been an avid listener for a couple of years now and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. I am inspired daily by the philosophies he shares. I’m not a religiously inclined individual, but I do try to be a good person and want to live a life of value. The spiritual insights have been very helpful in reminding myself to “check in on the disposition of the heart”. I hope he will always include them as part of his astrological practice. Thank you!

Design GeniusGreat show for beginnersFine intro to astro applied practically- sincere guy who teaches a thorough intro to astro program. Not loving the new top ten or top three but understand a digestible format for greater reach. Feel like he studies and prepares well and puts in the time.

harmony joy g.great vibe & so intelligentThis is teaching me what I need to know about astrology without the “fluff” and confusion that I’ve experienced when I attempt to learn about astrology from many places online! I appreciate his pacifist yogi perspective, which is new to me, and feel like there needs to be more people in the world who feel similarly, not everyone be same, but aligning in values… Values like peace, clarity, love, and community. And this podcast seems to have all of that + everything and more on easy to understand, yet real deal, astrology! Thank you! -Harmony

BreGFFavorite astrology podcastI listen to several astrology podcasts and have over the years. However, this one is my favorite for many reasons. Some of the other podcasts are not as grounded and not rooted in actual astrological understanding and education. This particular teacher is always pulling astrology/philosophy/spirituality from really interesting and legitimate sources. He is able to pull together really great messages that flow well. I appreciate his articulation, also, and the podcasts are always easy to follow. Overall, he is a really wonderful teacher and I’m glad to have this resource in my life.

burninsageATMOSPHERE - ICI mean that in two ways 😉 Love the song Gods Bathroom Floor && Shrapnel by Atmosphere 💜 Now I have a visual of what he meant
-
lynettelouleaving his churchAfter listening to his channel for years I can finally agree with the others commenting here about how self centered this astrologer is. He talks a lot about being a “monk” but at the same time belittles many of his viewers and tries to cover it up with the excuse of having sharp sense of humor that others don’t understand (because of course, others just aren’t as smart as him.) He then spends the last portion of the year asking for donations from the same people he talks down to because he wants to be rewarded for having a spiritual practice. He is just like all the other pretentious people you will find in the yoga community. It’s very disheartening.
-
jennifervicInspiring and passionate on the daily!Thank you Acyuta for pouring so much passion, dedication and insight into your daily content. For years I had been bouncing around from teacher to teacher, you’re finally the one that inspires me show up daily and soak in your meditations. Love the incorporation of Tarot and I-Ching too :)

Nurse BeckThank youBhakti Wednesday has become my favorite day. Thank you Achutya Baba.

MaZ11021971Pre-basic informationI feel Ike the podcast is being delivered with a first grade audience as it’s target. The podcaster might have good knowledge, but with such a remedial presentation and delivery, it comes across as intended for small, not so bright children. The podcaster is highly emotional and lacks mature rational thought. If you are looking for an intelligent conversation about astrology, look elsewhere.

ANE2993Highly underratedI’m a beginner to astrology, and have been trying out several different podcasts to try to learn as much as possible. As soon as I found this one, I dropped all the others. This is the most mind-blowing hidden gem I’ve ever found, and I’m a huge podcast junkie. I definitely don’t understand everything he talks about, but so much of what he says resonates deeply and has given me a richer, fuller, more layered perspective on many things. The host has a great sense of humor, too - he’s very straightforward and keeps it real. An absolute joy to listen to. I’m so so thankful for this generous gift of a podcast and will continue to support it however I can!
-
the.white.seaConsciously CraftedThere are astrology podcasts that are little more than fluff pieces, those that feel like lectures, and then there’s Nightlight Astrology. Sometimes the fluff is fun, and the lectures are academically helpful, but Nightlight is spiritual food. Acyuta-bhava Das provides a well-curated selection of symbolic and dialectical images from a variety of textual and oracular traditions, as well as concrete (and sometimes humorous) object lessons from lived experience to deliver a podcast that is digestible, incisive, and edifying. I look forward to every episode.
-
nellzangelzMost creative communicatorI listen to lots of astrology podcasts and am often frustrated by the oversimplifying or repetitive language of the hosts. Not with this one. I have way more aha moments with this one than any other. How an astrologer uses language is so vital. Thank you!!!!!
-
the average twitch userSelf-absorbedI would love it if he could have a look at his narcissism. I just watch a couple of YouTube videos and it was dripping with it. There are a couple of reviewers below who remarked on the self-centeredness. It’s a really turn off and a pity for astrology. This is probably a foolish hope of mine but Mars in cancer currently is opposing my mercury.
-
Lennytheshark12NopeI have tried listening to this for almost a year but the redundancy of self centeredness in every single episode is too much. I was hoping to learn more about astrology, not more about the teacher. Best of luck, looks like you have a devoted following.
-
lostboyslairThanksThanks for being a leader in the astrology community, and providing this educational podcast.

-
niknakooWhite man appropriating Indian cultureI used to love him, and allowed his appropriation, told myself he meant well etc etc. Then lately he started talking about how he was apolitical and didn't have to explain himself. And now I'm just sitting here wondering why he thinks that its okay to profit off the culture a religion of people of color but now say he doesn't have to have politician thoughts about our lives and our oppression. Why wouldn't you at least acknowledge your privilege in being able to say you're apolitical? Your life isn't at risk, many of ours are.

Joyce829PodcastThis is by far my favorite show.

barbesalonThankyouI have learned so much from your podcast! I have time to go to back episodes. Such a sage . Again Thankyou ...

nina_23r1/5I have a hard time with how self centered this astrologer is, I am interested in astrology but I don’t find the speaker to be interesting enough to hear so many details about their life. I feel off put by how often they hover around policing and being so critical of others, it comes across like a whining child more than a poignant critical discussion and I find it difficult to have any respect in the long term for this style of teaching. I think this astrologer is overrated and should take up less space in the astrological world but I’m not surprised this is what we get in a patriarchal society.
