Josh does a great job of explaining what most others don’t. Other podcast I listen to from people in the web design space talk over the heads of people starting out. Josh doesn’t. He is all about lifting others up to win. His podcast is great to listen to, has amazing sound quality, and the information is always what’s promised in the title and description of the episode. This is my new favorite podcast in the web design business space.

Josh is normal and accessible while being successful. It provides this unique and accessible realness neatly combined with expertise. When you are considering starting a business, it is easy to feel like a fake or like you will never ACTUALLY be able to get off the ground. When I spend that hour with Josh 1-2 times/week, I walk away thinking “I can do this. Why not?” The fact that Josh can make me feel that way while personally doing very well and interviewing people who are doing well is a testament to his candor and accessibility. I have no doubt that this pod will continue to grow!

I found Josh through Pat Flynn’s SPI podcast and have been hooked ever since. So much so that I signed up for his courses and recently joined his web design club, which I can’t recommend highly enough! Josh has really rekindled my love for web design and encouraged me to finally make the jump to doing it as a side gig. He is a wealth of knowledge and genuinely cares about helping others find success in web design. Don’t hesitate to subscribe and do yourself a favor and go sign up for his courses or membership while you’re at it! My only regret is not doing it all sooner.

This podcast has SO much good information on starting, growing and running a web design business and then some! But it's not just the invaluable info - Josh keeps it interesting. I usually avoid long-form podcasts because I get bored, but I always enjoy this one! Each episode is like a lively mini-class that keeps giving me knowledge and insight to apply to my web design business. I wish I had discovered this show sooner!

I typically do not write reviews but this time is different. As a book buyer and podcast browser I am always searching for new information and content on the things I am immersed in. Coming from a musician and audio engineer background, photoshop dabbling, HTML in the early 2000s and eventually Divi, I am absolutely blown away at the parallels. Just when I think I am in a good spot with my current web design knowledge, I get ahold of this podcast and now … I am rethink my entire life and business setup - But in a good way! I haven’t been this pumped and excited to dive headfirst into things I wasn’t even aware existed in forever. Maybe never. If you are a creative brain in the web design solo space - holy cow. The podcast should have a price tag on it for the mere scratching the surface of what’s available in the rabbit hole of entrepreneurship, living and doing business authentically, and developing new tool sets and systems for pretty much making a better life. I’m rambling a bit so I will leave you with this. Go tap “All episodes” and brows around and find one that peaks your interest. You are in for a great ride. The first episode I listened to was about personalizing your web design business and I though Josh’s advice was straight forward, actionable, and positive! I really enjoyed the episode and will definitely be coming back for more.

Josh’s positivity, knowledge, and community is so fun, and I honestly don’t know how I’d have gone about starting my own web design biz without him (I’d be trying to reinvent the wheel!). For the record, I’ve still yet to launch, but I have my building blocks thanks to Josh and his podcast/courses. You won’t regret listening if web design is even an interest of yours. 10/10

Josh's podcast continues to be my go to source for web design knowledge and inspiration. Whenever a new episode comes out I usually move it to the top of my podcast feed and listen to it as soon as I can! I love that Josh goes very in depth into the topics he talks about. I feel like he's truly trying to help web designers as much as he can and that he cares about his listeners.

Like many others, Josh has helped me launch and grow my web design business. Eight months ago, I was searching for web design sales strategies when I found his podcast. I listened to 8 or 9 episodes before purchasing his web design business course and that was the best decision I’ve ever made! I went from having a side gig to quitting my day job and running my business, Websites by Jeremy, full-time. I also just had my biggest month in sales to date. Josh is THE GUY to help you start or grow your web design business!

Let me start off by saying that I do love this podcast- especially the episodes he does with guests. I think Josh is extremely knowledgable and generous with what he knows. However, it has become a bit heavy on the self promotion. I get it...podcasting is a great funnel to convert listeners to your courses, your FB group, your email list etc. and we are all out here trying to make a living. However, if I'm being completely honest, I feel like I am being sold to constantly throughout the episodes. Whereas with my other favorite podcasts, I feel like their first priority is providing content WITHOUT trying to convert me to buy their course/product (which in turn makes me want to support them even more). All in all, great podcast-I know how much work goes into all of this and I commend you for that. Thanks Josh.

Josh talks openly about his career-long experience in the web design business and how he got the business to where it is today. It’s very inspiring! I love how there are different topics discussed each week that are helpful for people who are interested in getting into the web design business as well as seasoned professionals.
